- I have booked 1 rooom 4 single bed and private bathroom but wasn't clarify that roooms are mixed. When I have asked at receptionist the reasons of this she told me that all room are mixed. When I have checked-out before use all period of my booking, I have asked if was possible refound 14nights of 19 nights on my booking. She told me that I had sent an email at their email for this problem. After 15 days from send email they didn't answer yet. That's terrible.

- Arrived here to stay here for 4 nights but on arrival they would not accept my valid photo I.D. ( public service card) so refused my stay and also refused to give any refund also. The staff member then when on to advise me of another hostel he knew who would accept my form of id. I gave him my phone to find this other hostel and booked me for 4 nights there. When i looked at my booking this other hostel was in the Netherlands. Was extremly annoyed with how i was treated and the staff member didnt care whatsoever, in fact seemed to find the whole situation ammusing . Ive tried to reach out via phone but they never answer. No apologies, no refund, am very disappointed.

- Pulizia scarsa. Bagno con muffa. Porta della camera difettosa. Staff poco collaborativo, propongono solo soluzioni a pagamento. Opzioni per cenare a prezzi altissimi. Non fatevi ingannare dal forte profumo all’ingresso.

- I haven't heard back in 2 days from their in house team or booking.com Booked a room by accident on the 11th of December at 10pm on the 11th.... I meant to book a room for the 14th. They wouldn't let me change it to any available date even a date weeks down the line. All they want is your money they simply do not care how you feel Horrible service.

At first, I was placed in a room that I didn’t like because it had an unpleasant smell. However, I spoke with one of the guys at the reception, and he was very kind and helped me move to another dormitory. Everything was very clean, and the receptionist working in the afternoon was especially friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
Generator Dublin is a hotel pretending to be a hostel. Literally EVERYTHING costs you money. Every activity costs money, even using the table football. This does not contribute to a communal hostel feeling where people meet each other and make friends. Also there is NO KITCHEN?? The hostel doesn’t allow bringing your own food, which is THE WHOLE POINT of a hostel: to save money?!! They say: ‘no food allowed sorry, there is plenty of good food at the cafe downstairs’. Which costs money AG...
Decent spot to stay but I wouldn’t go back unless other places were booked out, as it was a big place and the walls were thin.

Der Preis und die Leistungen stimmten nicht überein. Die Bilder auf den Plattformen versprachen ein sehr sauberes und modernes Hostel. Es war runtergekommen bei vielen Punkten und erinnerte an eine Mallorca Klassenfahrt Hostelubrerkunft.
The price and the services did not match. the pictures on the platforms promised a very clean and modern hostel. it had fallen down in many points and reminded of a Mallorca Klassenfahrt Hostelubrerkunft.
The Generator is clearly trying to be trendy and high end for a hostel and at its beginning it probably was, but it has clearly lost its stride with maintenance and cleanliness. Security was good and beds were clean, but the overall room felt a bit grungy and the bathroom shower was pretty dirty. Of the two sinks in our room, the drain was completely clogged in one and the drain stopper missing in the other, and the faucet was wobbly. Only one shower was usable, the other was broken.

Staff set me up with the wrong bed, got woken up and kicked out of my bed at 3AM. Worst night of sleep. Everything feels and smells dirty.
El hostel está bien. No está perfectamente ubicado, ni tampoco horriblemente ubicado. La zona no tiene actividad nocturna, por ende lo que cierra más tarde en las inmediaciones es el Tesco, que cierra a las 22. En relación a la limpieza, nunca vimos que hayan ingresado a la habitación a limpiar el baño. En cuanto a el ambiente en el hostel está medio muerto. The hostel is fine. it is not perfectly located, nor is it horribly located. the area has no night activity, so what closes later in the vicinity is the Tesco, which closes at 22 o'clock. in relation to cleaning, we never saw that they have entered the room to clean the bathroom. as for the atmosphere in the hostel is half dead. with the staff of the hostel we had no interaction, which is very good about the girl of Italian nationality who was at the bar.
One of the best hostels in the city
There were two 70 year old guys staying in the dorm room, one on crutches and one who had a walking frame. the one on the walking frame kept falling over. one of those times he fell over in the bathroom and wet himself on the floor. So disgusting and such a disgrace. I also had to look after him my emtire stay which ruined my entire stay. He is known to the hostrl yet this keeps on happening. The hostel have not responded to my complaint. Please do yourself a favour and don't stay here.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Greeted at the door by a lobby that smells of chemicals, then charged to store my bag. In the bathroom only 3 of the stalls lock, the toilets leak water out of the bottom after every flush and were usually very gross. Showers had similar level of cleanliness and clogged drains. My bed sheet had a rubber film that was peeling off and my sheets were stained. The room smelled horrible. Genuinely the worst place I’ve ever slept in my life
Overall good for the price, the location was good a 12 min walk to temple bar and around that area, staff was really nice and the facilites were clean and nice, bed and room were good, I would book it again for sure
Overal a lot to do Not the greatest atmosphere but it was ok still. But i have to say the hallways and rooms are pretty smelly
I stayed 5 days and it wasn’t worth it Most of the bathrooms were filthy, broken or the lock didn’t work The bed is the size of a tictac, I got people banging on my door at 3 am constantly For the price, it’s not worth it, maybe if you just want to stay a day.and just wanna place to sleep but even so, get other accommodation

Ostello carino. A 20 minuti dal centro a piedi (troppi visto che è piccola Dublino). Non c’erano le tendine, che era l’unico motivo per cui avevo prenotato questo ostello. Inutilmente costoso
Nice hostel. 20 minutes walk from the centre (too much seeing as it is small Dublin). they didn't like the tendon, which was the only reason I had booked this hostel. unnecessarily expensive
Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Food/drink prices and lack of self-serving kitchen facilities are annoying, but otherwise satisfied with my stay there.
