Eurohostel Helsinki

The bathrooms were dirty and smelled very bad. The kitchens were not very clean. The sauna was nice but also seemed to not be cleaned often. The hostel in general feels very antisocial. Not very inviting for solo travelers and not many opportunities to meet new people. The location is nice. But for how much you have to pay, the included breakfast should be better quality and the rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms most especially should be cleaned much more frequently.

There is a dog that guides security all night that barks all night, also very aggressive when you do come down in the morning. We were staying two nights but they only zapped our room keys for one night so had to request another night to be put on. Even though we checked in online the two people in front of us in the queue hadn’t so we had to wait 15 minutes for them to check in. The staff were just not very friendly. The room was like a prison, beds very hard and no mirrors in rooms.

The hostel is fine but definitely overpriced. The building is very old, in the showers it was stinking of purification plant, the stove in the kitchen didn't work, and the beds are very hard (you can feel the cardboard underneath the matress!). The stuff on the other hand was very friendly.

Great location generally clean no atmosphere at all

The only good thing about this hostel is that it is cheap for a private room. Also looked like a prison. The location is average - only close to the wharf but not close to anything else in the city. No social vibe at all, no lounge space other than a room with a table and a couple of bar stools. The bathroom was terrible - the shower doors were see through with a huge gap in the middle, no privacy at all. the shower drains smelt horrible (an understatement of how bad they were).

Good location. Staff were nice. Hard to socialise most of the time and the social areas were just small rooms with tables and chairs on a few of the floors. More of a hotel vibe. But it was quite social on the karaoke night which was good. Cupboard locks in the bedroom were in bad condition, falling off. Kitchen was poor: no spoons, tea towels or cpbards and the stove did not get hot enough to cook anything. I put my food in a named box but it was thrown away. Also nowhere to hang a towel.

Achei muito longe a localização e a limpeza no banheiro comum não era boa, pouco banheiro para muitos quartos!!

Strange hostel, definitely not a social place and it felt like some of the guests may have been living there? Facilities were adequate and bedrooms were comfortable and well priced though

Excelente hostal. Muy buen servicio en la recepción, muy bien la habitación, los baños, el elevador ... y el desayuno también.

Eurohostel serves the requirements of accommodation close to the City Centre in a quiet suburb. It is easy to access, the facilities are good and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended

Not too social but very clean, sufficient kitchen area and the Hostel Sauna is nice!

I appreciated that they had 24/7 staff available. The location next to the tram station is also a plus. The sauna was great, though I with it was free of charge in the evening.

I really liked the hostal, but during the days I stayed there the elevator was out of order and it was a problem because I have a big suitcase with me, everything else was great. The personal was so kind and nice, I appreciate that.

Excellent place in terms of service offered and location! Tram just outside the building, short walking distance to the market and center. Without doubt, you have to give a try to the Sauna too.

I stayed only one night, but had a great time. Not many people there in December, so no big Hostel Feeling. But I had nice roommates and everything I needed. The locker are really big and I appreciated that a lot. Room had also a good size. Bathroom was clean, when I was there. I did not use the kitchen. You can walk downtown or take the tram, the station is next to the hostel.

Great staff. Hospitality was top notch. I had a great time in Helsinki. The hostel was nearby the port, the churches, city life was fun to experience.

The hostel was amazing. Havin a sauna at the top floor was a top tier facility. The rooms were clean and spacious. Close from the city centre even by foot

Very pleased with my stay at this hostel. It was a bit simpler than I had expected, but it was very alright and clean. Highly recommended.

Très bon séjour ! Je ne regrette pas d'avoir choisi cette auberge. Petit bémol : les portes des placards étaient assez compliquées à fermer à clé, le système n'était pas très intuitif. Mais sinon c'est un 10/10, surtout l'équipe présente au moindre problème.

Man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben; schade, dass das Restaurant nicht mehr geöffnet ist, dass man abends noch etwas trinken könnte…
