This place is falsely advertised - we felt scammed. We booked a room and received a tent. When we brought this up to the people in charge, they did nothing about it and said "sorry". The facilities were not clean, and the space was just not at all what the listing advertises. I would never stay here again.
Chill place with a lot of potential. They tried to over charge us though. I had to show my email from Hostelworld with the correct price. :/ Then they did charge double price for food. 4,500 for 2 meals that cost us 1,500-2,500 max everywhere else. These things made us feel used/taken advantage of so we decided to leave. Would have stayed one more night if not. Cool property though if you want to rough it in the hills/jungle. Bring mosquito repellent, water, toilet paper and hiking shoes!
Het is een boerderij waarbij het duidelijk nog niet af is. Daarin moet je geen hoge verwachtingen hebben nu. Wellicht in de toekomst. Het bed in de prive kamer was zo hard dat ik er langere tijd rugpijn van heb gehad. Daarbij ligt het erg ver van voorzieningen zoals een supermarkt of winkel. De eigenaren doen erg hun best om je te helpen. Daarbij werden we wel afgezet door een bevriende taxi chauffeur die ze voor ons hadden geregeld. En hadden we een erg nare ervaring met hem.
It is a farm where obviously it is not over yet. You should not have high expectations in it now. Maybe in the future. The bed in the private room was so hard that I had a rugpipe for a long time. Next to it is very far from amenities such as a supermarket or shop. The owners do their best to help you. We are dropped off by a friend taxi driver who had arranged for us. And we had a very bad experience with him.
The staff is not interested in the guests. the kitchen is disgusting. the mattresses can be compared to cardboard. the bathroom is reminiscent of a prison cell. This is the reason why almost no pictures are available.

Seulement un membre du personnel nous a parlé à quelques reprises et était sympathique, mais sinon nous ne nous sentions pas du tout inclus. La cabine qu'on nous a attribuée n'était pas terminée. Il y avait des ouvertures au plafond et pas de porte, donc nous avons dormi carrément dans la nature. les lits étaient de petits matelas sur des palettes de bois. Trop cher.
disappointed with this hostel. it said in the ad that there was a restaurant and bar, but there were none. only one member of the staff spoke to us a few times and was friendly, but otherwise we didn't feel included at all. the cabin we were assigned was unfinished. there were openings in the ceiling and no door, so we slept right in the nature. the beds were small mattresses on wooden pallets. very expensive.
This place is not a hostel but a weed farm. The bed they offer is a hot camping tent placed on a stone floor. The property is full of unfinished construction. The manager and his wife are not very capable of dealing with tourists. I had a disagreement about a payment and the staff quickly turned against me while the place is far away from other services. Better to stay in Ocho Rios and drop by for a quick tour and a joint.
Nice farm very close to Irie Blue hole. Beautiful living room.
Interesting camping space tucked away close to Ocho Rios. Probably best enjoyed if you drive and are with a small group.
It’s a great place to stay with so much greenery. Host and staff are all amazing. Joe, youri, frank, ziggy, Nicholas they all offered me food and herb at their table when they had a meet up amongst family and friends. I appreciate them a lot for that. Cheers -Mohit
Great place surrounded by nature. Very peacefull and relaxing. Good location, outside of the city but still easy to reach (1$taxis to reach town). Walkable distance to river and shops

Quiet place surrounded by lush green, a bit off the beaten path but sometimes you gotta move to find hidden gems. The hosts, a couple, are very welcoming, just ask them for anything. The chef and all the other workers are just exceptional! Will 100% come back if I would be back. Thanks a lot guys!
I felt very welcome at earth family, all the staff were friendly. Only a short route taxi ride into Ocho which you can catch from the front of the property. There is also a river on the property where it's possible to swim.

Lovely place with lovely people. From there you can go to the River and Blue Hole by walking (if youblike to walk a little bit).

WOW THIS WAS GOOD! Not your regular hostel. It's a 🍃 farm with a family like community where you always feel welcomed and just happy overall. Super chill vibes. Get ready for a digital detox if you don't have data (I'm sure they already have wifi by the time I publish this review). Hosts, guests and farm workers are the friendliest people I have ever met. Their chef cooks some mind-blowing breakfasts and dinners! Definitely coming again!
I really liked Earthfamily farms. They were so friendly and helpful. After reading one review about being in a tent I was a little sceptical, but it turned out it was large tent but in a building so I had my privacy and I wasn't outside - so a win, win. It was really nice to be shown around the grounds and it was all clean. Would come here again!

My girlfriend and I loved this place. We wish we could've stayed more than one day to enjoy the hostel. We really enjoyed the vibes of the place and not to mention the view they have in their backyard. I recommend you try to get there while there is daylight because it is easy to miss it if driving at night.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, you guys made my time in Jamaica so memorable! The hostel is clean, peaceful and full of nature. A great place to relax, and have a chance to experience authentic Jamaican life. Keep up the great work guys
Very beautiful farm and hospitable staff, easily find a taxi from Mother's to Mile End and stop by the farm. Make sure to call the phone number ahead to let someone open the door
