Worst service ever. The staff are so rude and do not care about you. terrible value for money. AVOID

False advertisement! The rooftop doesn’t look at all like in the pictures, and the staff laughed about it when I showed the difference. Disappointed considering the price but the hostel overall is ok. View is still nice though but pictures on the site should be changed to reality pics. Dorms have many toilets and hot showers which are clean. Big lockers. Bed with curtains etc. People make a lot of noise at night (videocalls, turning on lights at 2 am), dorm etiquette should be more communicate...

Bathrooms in the private room smelled weird, had the shower combined with the toilet and therefore left a huge wet mess on the floor that was there into the night. The front desk guy was nice, but the tour guide for a 4:45am sunrise tour was 15 minutes late - makes a difference at that hour! The rooftop was best but (maybe got unlucky) found that not many people were hanging out up there. Not that it matters, but hostel is filled with mostly Indian tourists. The hostel is okay.The problem comes in the female dorm where all the people there are Indian guests and they don’t respect anything at all. They think they are in a private room and they can do anything they want at any time. They take showers at 3.00 am, they talk by phone any time of the night, they are really noisy,etc. I found a child in my room. He slept in the same bed as the mom and they were talking all the time. The staff member said he will sort out the problem but they never did.

good location with a view of the ganges despite being hard to find initially. really friendly and super helpful staff! they walked us to get a tuk tuk at 3am so we could catch our train and took us to an atm on our first day. nice vibe and easy to meet people, lots of activities arranged through the hostel- we enjoyed the boat tours. however, i do think this place is really overpriced in comparison to what we're used to paying (especially for 14 bed dorm) overall, a really pleasant stay :)

I really expected more to pay €12 , almost like Spain… would be nice if they put water and food for the streets dogs, you can imagin its the hell on earth for them :), no only nobody care, some of them h*t them. Yesterday i bought milk for 4 baby dogs and their mum, can u belive that the mum kiss me? And didnt want to drink milk to leave more for them? Also would be nice if thy put a box to help them and CASTRATE!! You can start given the expample to the anothers shops or hostels….

Shouldn’t be as expensive as it is, but some of the best beds I’ve stayed in, nice rooftop area and great location

Expensive, not very clean

Our stay at Wander Station was very nice. But the rooms and specially the roof top do not look as on the pictures. Due to that the price is a little bit high (it was the most expensive on our trip so far and we had a few hostels which had much more atmosphere). The breakfast was good (we had omelette, pancakes and sandwich). Our room (4 Beds dorm) smelled a little humid. The room to wait for check in is very nice and has a good A/C. All in all I would stay again but not expect too much.

Overall a halfway decent place to stay. Very close to the ghats and good restaurants, but difficult to find initially. The hostel (esp. the bathrooms) aren’t the cleanest but could be worse. Need a quiet hours rule/ emphasize being quiet in the bedrooms. Many of the Indian guests are quite inconsiderate and make it hard to relax/sleep (talking on phones, turning lights on after midnight, etc.). Greatly enjoyed the sunset boat ride organized by the hostel! Rooftop was not as active as advertise...

Auberge en plein cœur de Varanasi. Très bien située (derniers mètres à faire à pied). Superbe terrasse avec restaurant et vue sur toute la ville. Chambre propre et bien équipée. Personnel très accueillant

This was a great hostel located very close to the ghats. The staff are locals who went above and beyond for me multiple times when I needed help and faced a mini-crisis trying to get to another city. Def the place to stay when in Varanasi!

Great hostel. Super fun social vibe. Beds comfy and everything super clean. Great location. Just slightly expensive.

Really nice location in the alleys of Varanasi. Nice rooftop for hanging out with people or reading. The little restaurant up there has a lot of food options. Comfy bed with privacy curtain. Would recommend.

Wonderful stay and wonderful people.

very friendly and tidy hostel, it was also nice to hang out on the rooftop, where there were events every now and then, and a really friendly crowd! the door of the dorm wasn't lockable. lockers were in the room, but as the café on the rooftop is open to the public that means anyone could also just come into the dorm. It felt fairly safe nevertheless, reception is open 24/7 also

Overall a really good hostel, staff were so helpful, went out of their way to help us with transport to train station etc. they provide a variety of tours which are all really good and good price. The laundry is good and comes back quick. There’s plenty of bathrooms per dorm which is really helpful and they’re all clean.

One of the best hostel I have been to so far ! The hostel is in the middle of the old town (which gives it a kind of mystical atmosphere) and is close to all the main places to visit. The team is 100% top (don’t hesitate to talk and make friends with them). I spent 2 weeks there instead of 4days initially planned

A great hostel in a great location in old Varanasi alleyways for an immersive experience. A really helpful staff team on duty 24hrs a day for anything you need help with. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water and fans /air con. Value for money and highly recommended.

Struttura pulita e accogliente, il terrazzo è veramente magico! Pesonale simpatico e coinvolgente. Unico piccolo problema il wifi a singhiozzo, sono certa sia un problema passeggero. Assolutamente consigliato!

Really liked the hostel. Everything is clean and well kept. They have a very nice rooftop restaurant with good views of the city and a good social atmosphere which makes it easy to meet other travellers.

This is the best place to stay in Varanasi !! I ended up extending over and over again. The host and staff are really attentive, the vibes are amazing, the rooms and bathrooms are really clean!!!

Great location for exploring the Ghats, with friendly staff and a clean hostel. However, random staff frequently entered our room without explanation, sometimes just staring or even climbing onto beds. Unsettling experience—would be great if management fixed this issue.

Very clean and comfortable hostel ! Reaching there is tough
