Rincon Familiar Hostel Boutique

This was a good place to stay. The bed was a bit hard, it takes about 5 minutes to get hot water to the shower but then it gets adequately hot.

Good location, great security, zero atmosphere, room 207 small but perfect for me, no heat but warm blankets, breakfast was so so, coffee wasn't hot, runny fried eggs not for me...for a night or two, OK.

The good - great location, staff were pleasant and helpful. nice view from the terrace The bad - The room was badly designed / laid-out (having to choose between ventilation and privacy, barely enough space to move around), the shower area leaked leaving the floor wet in the rest of the toilet floor wet. There was no space to hang a set tool except right over the toilet bowl. The staircase to access the second floor seemed dangerous with a second flight starting in the middle of another.

Amazing hostel in a great spot of Quito. Staff are friendly, environment feels safe. The beds are firm but comfortable and the shower was pleasant. The building itself is lovely. Nice little roof hangout spot as well. Will be staying again!

Rincon Familiar is the perfect hostel for people who want somewhere peaceful, comfortable, safe and conveniently located. The staff are wonderful and so helpful, breakfast is delicious, and I can't hype up the super comfy duvet enough! I will definitely be coming back here when I'm next in Quito. ¡Gracias!

Great location right in the Old Town of Quito, easy to walk anywhere. It is a very safe area and the hostel also has a secure entry system. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hostel is full of plants. It has a wonderful roof top terrace. The hostel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is included. Would definitely stay here again.

Only stayed a couple nights. Decent

The staff were all so nice and the breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and they had hot showers. The hostel itself was quiet but having an open courtyard you could hear the noise of the city. It was within walking distance of the historic center. I ended up staying here twice during my stay in Quito.

The hostel and staff were wonderful. As a traveler I don’t love giant cities and Quito is huge, noisy and smells of pollution/exhaust. I could hear and smell the city from my room.

An amazing hotel, the staff were really helpful and the dormitory had everything what I need. I will definitely comeback to Rincon Familiar. Breakfast was delicious and location was the best, walkable to the main tourist spots in Quito's Old Town.
