the hostel and location is nice but the owner is a right wing polatotion who support the Isreal government. He expresses his veiws very openley even why you ask him to change the topic.

My experience at this hostel is always incredible. The facilities are designed to fully enjoy and appreciate the majesty of the surrounding landscape—you truly feel immersed in the mountains, with breathtaking sunrises and a deep sense of tranquility. Villa San Juan sin duda debe ser uno de los mejores lugares en los que me he quedado en Boyaca. Sus instalaciones tienen vista a las montañas y además está cerca del Páramo de oceta, un lugar paradisiaco. Su propietario Camilo es muy amable y e interesante porque siembre está contando datos curiosos sobre las plantas y aspectos culturales de la región.

This hostel is like a perfect little oasis. It's about a 15 min bus ride from Monguí. It's a perfect place to relax since the views from the hostel are unbeatable and there are many places to get cozy with a book. This is one of the best hosts I have ever experienced. The hosts cooked dinner every morning, even when I had to get up early, and helped organize tours and meetings with local vendors. I can't recommend staying here enough. If you need to get away from the city to need to get here!

Staying in the hostal was an amazing experience! I have stayed in the female dormitary which is so cozy, tidy and clean. The views of the moantains are such a nice way to start the morning there. The tour they organize to the Paramo is the most incredible place I have ever been to. They also offer different recommendations about what to do nearby, what treks to do, what cities to visit. Mongui is approx. 10 minutes by bus, you can catch the bus on the road, they come often.

I've had so many travel experieces and this one has to be on top of my list! The hostel has a tranquil location, great amenities and rooms, incredible views & easy to get to by bus. I travelled alone & felt super safe with the tours & experiences they have. My favorite was visiting the Páramo de Ocetá and Ciudad Perdida (a 6 hour hike!) - it's out of this world. I really appreciate their approach to sustainable tourism. I was sad to leave! 1000% recommend for a real experience of Boyacá,Colom...

J’ai passé 3 super nuits dans cette auberge plein de charme ! Je suis arrivé en pleine semaine, j’étais donc seul, mais Camilo et sa maman ont su me mettre à l’aise. On a partager de nombreux moments ensemble, dans une fête de village, ou autour d’une bière à l’auberge. On est même allé faire une randonné avec les chiens. Ce sont des supers hôtes, qui cherchent à qu’on se sente vraiment à l’aise, comme chez nous ! L’auberge est superbe, confortable et très agré...
