Jungle by sturmfrei Palolem

Location is perfect just right at the beach , however the hostel is not ready for use they have construction dust and noise was everywhere all times , even comment area not available for use avoid this hostel is not for backpackers doesn’t have that vibe mostly Indian guest …. Unfortunately, this hostel did not meet our expectations. From the start, we were asked multiple times to pay the full amount upfront, which made sense only later, as the hostel was a construction zone. Every morning at 8 am, loud steelwork began, which made it impossible to sleep in. The staff was entirely unhelpful, and on the day of checkout, no one was even present, so we just had to leave the keys somewhere. Overall, a disappointing experience. Definitely not recommended

Horrible mattresses (old, saggy, hard), breakfast is no more included in the price, common area has been moved downstairs with the same old cusions and sofas. I think the place needs a re-investment to liven up the hostel and its facilities, otherwise this place is not worth coming back to, even though it has a decent location (2-3 minutes from the beach). Spend your money elsewhere and save them the trouble.

Pros: Hostel’s location is amazing, 30secs walk to the beach. Cons: Our original room we were meant to stay had mould everywhere - very unhygienic and dangerous for my girlfriend with breathing issues. After complaining to staff they said we would have to pay extra to move rooms. We refused to pay and they waived the fee but left a bad taste in our mouths. Bear in mind this new room also had mould but definitely not as bad. Atmosphere was lacking but this could be to not being in seaso...

The mattress were terrible! Too thin and uncomfortable. The cleaning is wasn’t good. The bathroom wasn’t clean and the shower didn’t work properly. The staff was so helpful to change our room but I don’t recommend this place if you want to sleep comfortable. The place effectively is closer to the beach, so its the only thing that makes sense to choose this place. At the end we decided to change the place.

Some of the staff are lovely, but we seemed to have a curfew of about 1am for the common room which I thought was a bit odd? The food I had was nice. The main thing letting it down was cleanliness in general but the dorm bathrooms in particular

Fantastic hostel in Palolem. Great facilities, clean and comfortable dorms. It's 2 mins to Palolem beach, and has a great common area and bar. Highly recommended.

Lovely place right by the beach and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Great place for couples as the rooms are huge and super comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff is super friendly and the dorm rooms are spacious! They clean every day! The power was off a lot, or bad voltage, so the ac was on for the most nights but turning off and on. It’s really close to the beach and I felt so safe here! Thank you for my stay!

Really good, stayed for 3 nights and slept well for and rishbah was very friendly and helpful

Ein Hostel, wie man es sich als Backpacker wünscht. Lage: Ein paar Meter durch den Dschungel und man ist am wundeeschönen Strand. Genauso weit hat man es in die andere Richtung zu einer Straße mit Geschäften und Restaurants. Die Leute sind sehr ehrlich und zocken dich nicht ab. Man fühlt sich überall auch nachts sicher. The hostel vibe was good though.Calm and relaxing vibe their cafeteria area was good for chilling if you are looking for peace then you may go for it.

Super endroit ! Chambre double privatisée qui sentait un peu l humidité mais très grande, propre, calme. Le personnel est vraiment top! Je recommande. Je vous recommence juste de ne pas passer par website pour votre réservation car j'ai quand même du payer la totalité via un lien envoyé par l hostel donc autant passer directement par eux.

We hadn’t been to india before so we were quite culture shocked. This was until we visited palolem and the jungle by sturmfrei. The atmosphere in this beach town is just so relaxed that i’m sure everybody would enjoy it!

Amazing property within close proximity from the beach. Staff working here is very amazing. Cheers to Nikhil for his amazing hospitality. The property has its own bar and cafeteria. Options available are a little limited but good nonetheless.

Loved the stay.. Good place for Workation .. Staff is good andthe activities organized are fun too .

It is a very good hostel and the service is very good especially Tribhuvan and Renisha will make you feel at home. The dormitories were very good and chilled. They have a great place to work which they call it as Work Den. Palolem beach is just 2 mins away walking. They have different events on different days of the week like story telling karoake games etc. The only thing due to which i could not rate 5* is the food availability and quality

Super nice and clean hostel!

Loved this place. Right on the beach. Building was surrounded in palm trees, felt like a jungle. Staff were super fun. Breakfast was delish!!
