Bedbugs and extremely rude customer service! This was one of the worst experiences of my life. The check-in procedure was very complicated. Imagine arriving exhausted at midnight, completely drained, and being told: "Our system is rebooting, you'll have to wait 30 minutes." I asked if I could pay in the morning because I was so tired — I was VERY RUDELY told NO. I had to beg a very unpleasant girl at the reception to let me pay right away so I wouldn’t have to wait 30 minutes. When I requested a bottom bunk, I was refused. The receptionist lied and said there were no bottom beds available — even though in my room all of them were free. But the worst part was that there was no air conditioning in the room — it was extremely hot at night, no air to breathe. And I was bitten all night by bedbugs. I woke up with a horrible allergic reaction. The worst experience I've ever had. I don’t recommend this place. Absolutely inappropriate communication, rudeness, and unsanitary conditions.

Only downside is you can only stay a maximum 10 days; it makes sense though. You don’t want people to just take up residence in a liminal space. Also the notice on the refrigerator should be written with bigger letters, to write our checkout date on the food we store there. I was foolish and wrote my check in date instead, then I lost some perfectly good duck mince. Whatever. My fault… Only thing the kitchen is missing is a toaster, but you can just toast bread over the hob if you know what you’re doing.

BEDBUGS. But most important the staff reaction to it. I got bitten by bedbugs, went downstairs and asked the receptionist( woman with short hair and piercings) if I can wait in the common area until the sun comes up since I have no place to go at 2am with -1 degrees outside. She told if she gives me a refund I cannot stay in the hostel. It's inhumane to treat anyone that way, especially when I am already in distress. What I experienced is not just bad service, but a complete disregard for my basic comfort and safety. The lack of empathy and basic common sense from the receptionist is shocking. I was treated with indifference and was left to deal with the situation alone, despite being in a vulnerable and distressed state. It was embarrassing and completely unacceptable. This level of carelessness and lack of compassion is beyond disappointing. What I experienced is not just bad service, but a complete disregard for my basic comfort and safety. The lack of empathy and basic common sense from the receptionist is shocking. In the hundreds of hostels I have stayed at I have never experienced something like this. I would avoid this place who employs evil people in a position of power. ( there was NO misunderstanding like they write in the response comment. They kicked me out of the hostel )

It had cockroaches in all of the room and bedbugs. My roommates got all bitten and they didn’t care when we told the people in the reception. After we emailed them with the photos they didn’t answer. I’ve never seen a place so disgusting. Don’t book here.

My friend got stung by a bed bug and her hand now is super swollen. The room was full of these bugs and we tried to get rid of them all but that wasnt possible. We want a refund.

I stayed at this property for four nights, during the last one (after moving to another room) I had BEDBUGS in my bed. It was 5:00am and immediately proceeded to the front desk as I really needed to sleep but naturally not in the same bed, they refunded yet I still haven’t slept and I won’t until another check in is done at another place after 12:00, this, as they didn’t have any other available bed. This is horrible and they should have an emergency bed ALWAYS. Worst experience ever in a hostel

Das Atlantis Hostel erweckt im Internet auf den Bildern und der Auflistung des dargebotenen Service für ein 2-Sterne Hostel einen guten Eindruck. Dennoch sollte man folgende Punkte wissen: Zimmer/Ausstattung: Die Zimmer sind minimalistisch ausgestattet: Betten, Schrank, Tisch und zwei Stühle. Alles in einem moderaten Zustand. Da die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind, werden Ohropax angeboten. Sanitäre Anlagen: Pro Abteil gibt es ein Gemeinschaftsbad mit mehreren Duschen und Toiletten, die separat geschlossen werden können. Sie funktionieren alle gut, sind aber optisch sehr mittelmäßig. Besonders abends muss man Kakerlaken ausweichen. Lage: Dieses Hostel ist so zentral, dass Kazimierz, Wawelburg und der Stare Miasto ganz einfach zu Fuß erreicht werden können. Frühstück: Das liebloseste und schrecklichste Frühstück, das ich je erlebt habe: Es gibt nur Instantkaffee, obwohl in den Räumlichkeiten eine Kaffeemaschine steht, die aber nicht benutzt werden darf. Brötchen sind nicht gut. Die Marmelade ist einfach nur ein Gelee. Man darf von einem 2-Sterne Hostel ja nicht viel erwarten, aber das war wirklich unterirdisch. Service: Das größte Manko. In das (abgeschlossene!) Zimmer einer unserer Schülergruppen ist nachts eine wildfremde Person hineingekommen und hat sich an den Taschen vergriffen. Bei der Meldung an der Rezeption kam nur ein "Sorry". Auch weil mein Zimmer voll von Bettwanzen war und ich es meldete, kam nur ein "Oh, okay". Ich kann von einem Verbleib in diesem Hostel nur abraten!

Not a problem of the hostel, but there were many noisy people. And there were BEDBUGS

my stay in the hostel in the middle of June became terrible. I was in sector B in a four-bed room. I was bitten by bedbugs, two of which I caught. There were so many bites that I had to buy allergy pills and cream. I contacted the reception with a complaint I didn't even hear an apology. It's terrible. 😡😡😡

there was a terrible isolation and I was bitten by bedbugs
