I had a very bad experience there. I booked a cabin with airco but got one without. I booked the place because the location seemed quiet. Unfortunately the generators of the hostel next door were super loud. The neighbours (I assume it was the staff from the hotel next door) were SCREAMING and listening to loud music until 3-4am. I couldn't stay there. when I wrote to the manager and asked for a refund of the remaining nights, I was dismissed. I only gave 4 stars to the staff who were friendly.

Overall we had a good stay at Cabanas los Almendros. The property is lovely vegetated and away from the downtown noises of Capurgana (but an easy walk away). The breakfast was great and we appreciated the filtered water option.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cabañas Los Almendros! The staff were so kind, and very patient when communicating with us (we can’t speak Spanish). The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The cabañas are an easy walking distance to the dock, and the start of the hiking trail to Sapzurro. There is a good laundry service too!

Prima om 1 of 2 nachten te verblijven als je hier moet zijn. Schone (privé)kamer, prima ontbijt, prima bed en vriendelijk personeel (enkel Spaanstalig wel). Extreem veel muggen in de kamer. Wasservice veel te duur (22.50 euro voor 10 kg) en ze hebben geen droger dus afhankelijk van het weer krijg je je was droog terug. Kregen ook niet alle was terug. Capurgana is niks aan en je je wordt overal opgelicht. Wij verbleven er alleen omdat onze boot er aankwam vanaf San Blas.

Arrived in the late afternoon and the super super rude man sitting at reception made a bunch of us wait for close to an HOUR asking way to many unnecessary questions ie. insurance, travel length ect. when we all desperately wanted to check in and have a shower before dinner his only answers were pure attitude. NEVER STAY HERE

I really enjoyed staying at los Almendros! It had such a cozy vibe with the hammocks outside the rooms! The break personnel is very friendly and the breakfast was good too. Definitely a place to relax for a couple of days.

I like the garden setting with bedroom huts. There's a few areas they can improve though.

Very chill laid back hostel. Common area has hammocks, trees and wildlife. Dorm rooms only have fans so its a little warm but mosquito nets are awesome. Cold showers. Wifi is decent. Short walk out of town

Really nice place located close to the heart of capurgana. I had a dorm to. myself for 3 nights. Very friendly staff but note that no English is spoken (not a criticism!). Lacks a kitchen but the included breakfast was good and there are plenty of. places to eat in the town. was given keys to the dorm and the grounds were locked after dark so it always felt very secure.

Fantastic place to stay in capurgana! 5 min walk to the dock, super clean, super safe, great price, and incredible staff!

Lovely hostel, super close to everything and rooms were really clean. Breakfast was also great but the best thing was the friendly staff / family who were so kind to us during our stay!

Amazing place to stay, nicest ever staff, lovely atmosphere with the hosts family and pets running around, they let us have friends over for beer and gave us a discount and played music for us. It was a welcome calm spot in a loud and crazy place. Loved it!

Lovely family run hostel. Really nice clean rooms with fans provided. Staff very helpful, nice en suite rooms with towels provided
