La Mansion Hostel

The building itself is a gorgeous old colonial style building. Staff is very friendly, the only downside were the really hard mattresses in the room and no real window.The Music of the downstairs restaurant is some 2010 House music remixes which can get annoying.

We really loved this hostel! The location is perfect- as its right next to the park with pharmacys, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The staff was really nice and helpful- we organised the rafting and paragliding with them. The pizzeria they have is really good and has such a nice atmosphere.

Great experience. The owners helped us with tour ideas and day trip ideas for our group of 4. A chill place with historic charm and well located next to a main park.

The house is really beautiful, there are hot showers and it is super well located (directly in the center next to the park!) The staff and owner are nice and very helpful.

Very nice hostel. Good place to meet new people, clean, amazing staff and good value for money. Definitely recommend it!

Auberge très bien située, juste à côté du parc principal de San Gil. Jolie décoration avec antiquités. Eau bien chaude dans la douche et wifi qui fonctionne bien. L'auberge propose des déjeuners dans le très agréable patio et de délicieuses pizzas. Ils peuvent vous organiser les activités de sport extrême et l'achat des billets de bus pour la suite de votre voyage.

Ostello attrezzato per ospitare backpackers, cucina molto grande e pulitissima, dormitorio molto ampio e personale davvero gentile. Ma quello che ci ha colpito di più è l'atmosfera della casa e la sua tranquillità:)

We went there only for one night, and then were moved to SAM's VIP Hostel, that is really really nice!!

Logement très bien situé à deux pas de la place principale. Personnel disponible. Cuisine à disposition mais pas de réfrigérateur. La chambre et la salle de bain pourraient être plus propres, ce n'est pas nettoyé tous les jours et les poubelles ne sont pas vidées

Super hostel ! Personnel au petit soin. Emplacement idéal. Clean et très bonnes chambres.

This hostel is simply awesome! The food was delicious and they have the nicest courtyard! There is a host always around for anything you need. Their guide Sam is super helpful with any requests or information and really quick to respond. Housekeeping turns your room everyday which eas a nice surprise. I would definitely return to La Mansion in San Gil!

This hostel made us go to a different hostel (SAMS VIP), booked the 4 bed mixed dorm and they just said they were moving us to a different hostel and walked us down the road, no real explanation. However, if we did stay in La Mansion the location is good. When moved to SAMS VIP a few dorm mates told us the same happened to them, so I think this is a common occurrence, be careful if you decide to book here as it’s likely you won’t be staying there.

In General, really loving staff and reading to help. I had a 4 bedroom and it was only me in so had all the privacy. The bathroom are kind of clean but not cleanest I have seen in colombia. The activities and staff is what made me love this place. Also the location of the place. The atmosphere is a bit lacking tho, don’t expect any big parties except tejo

Auberge très confortable avec une décoration soignée. Eau chaude dans la douche et Wifi de bonne qualité. Le personnel est très accueillant et vous aide pour quoi que ce soit. L'auberge fait également restaurant avec un déjeuner complet différent tous les jours et délicieuses pizzas à partir de 13h. Hautement recommandé !

Great hostel, best Spotify at the main square, amazing pizzeria at the groundfloor, clean, cheap,, bedt prices for activties, 10 out of 10.

Lieu plein de charme pour se reposer bien qu'étant au centre ville. Personnel charmant, attentionné. Une décoration globale très soignée. Très belle maison coloniale. Restauration correcte. Chambre spacieuse et salle de bain avec eau chaude très propre. Dommage que l'on ne puisse pas régler par carte bancaire.

Lovely stay!

Beat hostel I’ve stayed in. Great location, great access to information about San Gil. Bedroom was nice and good bathroom - hot water if you only turn the shower on a little! They cleaned the room halfway through our stay which was lovely and unexpected. Good kitchen space although could have done with a deep clean but isn’t that always the case with hostels. Overall it was great.

Cet hostel est tout simplement parfait. Il n’y a aucune ombre au tableau !!!! Le personnel est super arrangeant, et on a vraiment apprécié leur honnêteté et leur sympathie. On recommande cet hostel de San Gil dans toutes les villes où l’on passe désormais.
