+ I wish I could comment, but the owner double booked my room and refused to give me a refund.
- I didn’t stay in the hostel because the owner booked my room, although I did NOT cancel my reservation through booking. This owner of the hostel behaves fraudulently and is clearly attempting to trick tourists as to take their money. The owner refuses to talk to me and has hung up on me multiple times. He says he will process the refund if I request it through booking, after hours of phone calls with booking and attempts to speak with the owner, the owner denies the request for a refund time after time. I would not recommend booking here as the customer service is truly unbearable and the owner shows no intention of returning money even when he is well aware that I did not complete a cancellation nor did I stay on his property.
The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at. I arrived around midnight to find no staff at reception. Keys to various rooms, belonging to unknown guests were left out in the open with no security. When I got to my room, the floor was dirty and the beds were infested with cockroaches. Since no staff were present to move me to another room, I had to find another hostel in the middle of the night. Absolutely not recommended!
+ Cheap. Reasonable location next to the lake.
- Beware— many of the rooms face a neighboring property with extremely bright security lights that will flood your room with light at night even with the (cheap and thin) shades drawn. Additionally, there’s no soundproofing or dampening in the stairwell and anyone making noise in the lobby or lounge will echo straight into your room.
- לא נקי והיה לי איזה שני ג׳וקים בחדר שזה מבאס וזה יחסית רחוק יש אופציות טובות יותר

This place was just okay. At first we were given a room that wasn’t cleaned yet, but they were very apologetic and gave us a clean one quickly. The hot water in the shower lasted about 2 minutes so… you won’t be washing your hair here. Or shaving your legs. We paid for a breakfast I would not pay for. We wanted to stay somewhere in Sapa city centre thinking we wanted to be central, but in retrospect we should have gone for a home stay on the rice terraces.
Wouldn’t recommend. The room severely smelt of mould. Opened the aircon to look and chunks of mould were just falling out. Also thick layer of dust on the beds and you’re just breathing that as you sleep. Location is a bit inconvenient as it’s up a big hill and also they mopped the tiled stairs in the morning with a certain chemical making it crazy slippery and led to me falling over twice on the way down.
Ok, so the family that owns the property is very friendly. They also keep it very clean. The main issue is that when the weather is damp and cold, the rooms become damp and cold as well. I bring my own fire alarm when travelling and I couldn’t use it in the room because it was so damp it kept setting of the fire alarm. So I guess plan for good weather if you are staying here… I ended up switching to a dry and warm hotel instead.

I didn’t mind staying here for a night (well two cause I had to come back and get my sweater). However there isn’t a social scene besides who is in your dorm. It’s perfect for a quick night. The location was fine. It was ontop of a steep hill but close to the main centre. I slept in the dorm and a private room. It was a good size but I found it damp and wasn’t able to take a warm shower. The AC didn’t work in the dorm. The staff were friendly! I would recommend for a quick night.
it was ok! not much atmosphere but the staff were lovely and she did laundry for us
Nice hostel for a couple of nights. Room was hugeee and comfy. No atmosphere whatsoever but that was expected. Good location, easy to walk into town.
Not social as there is no space to hang out. The rooms were alright but the water pressure was weak and I only had cold water (heater was on).
We loved it here, good location only about a 5 min walk into town, very clean and lovely hosts! Not social but definitely a great place to stay while in Sapa.
The staff was so nice! We had a lot of changes during our stay, and they made sure to help us in the best way. The room was also nice and clean
Ok for the price. I had a private room. Hot shower did not work during the 2 nights I was there. Owner was nice but it’s definitely due for a renovation. Definitely not a social hostel with no social areas.
This hostel was fine, perfect for the night after or before you stay in a homestay, and catch the bus in or out. There is no social area and the people aren’t social, but the room was huge for only 6 people so had plenty of space to sort myself out in between the loop, and trekking with a homestay.
Nice hostel in Sapa town centre. Not very social at all but everything else was absolutely fine. Myself and my friend shared a private room which was clean, had everything we need. You can do washing here - although they lost quite a few pairs of our underwear! The owners were lovely and they were always happy to help. Location is good, although you do have to walk up a big hill to get to the hostel!!
This hostel was fine. Big comfy beds, spacious rooms, as always shower is usually cold, decent priced laundry but no real common area. Good if you have no real intention of meeting people
clean hostel, good staff had some issues with the hot water but overall good. not super social
Big spacious room. The vibe of the place was weird and empty, One major problem was the heating didnt work at all (7 degrees C at night with zero heating). We went to reception about this problem, there was a teenager who didnt respond to our questions about switching to a room with heating, and instead pushed some buttons on the remote and said to wait (which did nothing). Hot water also ran out in about 2 minutes. Location was ok
I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel and I would happily stay here again. The staff were very accommadating for us checking in late in the evening and checking out at night. They also offered us a late checkout at 1pm free of chargebefore we decided to extend our stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The location was excellent and only a 5 minute walk from the heart of the town. Only cons were its not social at all and theres no elevator.
It was an ok stay in the mixed dorm close to Sapa town. Room is spacious and you have a key for the room and locker. however the room smells very damp, and the outer wall is full of moisture each morning, so I don't imagine it's well insulated of kept dry. aircon did not work. no general bathroom either just the one ensuite available. Beds were not that comfortable and no side tables/storage on the beds so it's difficult to keep things on the top bunk. Staff were friendly, and it's an affordable

Had a good stay here, you can book trekking/cable car at reception, shower stuff and toothbrush provided. Was able to chill out in reception area and leave luggage in reception area before check in as my bus arrived in the morning which was nice. Room was comfy. Had a cold shower but might have been the busy time for showers as I heard other people didn't have the same. Good location to walk into village of Sapa.
Had a great stay at this hostel. Hosts and staff were very friendly. Private room and ensuite were very nice and clean with hot water. In a great location for easy walking distance to places in town. Would stay again!
Big beds, big blankets, big rooms, big bathrooms, big hot water tank! Lady at the reception speaks english she fixed my bus and laundry in no time, and they have a cat 😊
The owners are the best! Very helpful. The hostel is clean
Lovely hostel. I got the night bus from Hanoi and rocked up at 6am. They let me leave my bags, charge my phone and make a cup of tea even though check in wasn’t till 1pm. A very quiet and calm place
