The Hostel is labelled Surf Hostel but there was no surf coach available during our stay and neither was it possible to rent a surf board although they have several in stock. While the one person responsible for the surf stuff was on vacation, no one was handed the responsibilities which is clearly the Managements fault. Enquiring the Manager directly about this, they didnt really care to help.

There is no privacy in the dorms. We all sleep on the floor. There is only one shower and one toilet for everyone on the same floor. Pizza and beer are available at the bar. Surf rentals and lessons are available too.

Expected a bit more, only 2 toilets/showers, private room was cute

Clean, staff were helpful. Hostel is v basic, the beds are mattresses on a floor and there are two toilets. Okay for a night.

The vibe is really laid-back. If you're not into surfing or don't have a scooter, there's not a ton to do apparently. The staff could be more informative about local activities or points of interest (places to eat? How to get to the beach easily?). It's a pretty cool spot, but if you're not in the know, you might feel a bit like an outsider.

Nice stay here, the yoga room has no air conditioning. The staff are really lovely.

Lovely little hostel, great atmosphere I recommend. Ask to NOT be put in the yoga room. They have normal hostel beds and then a “yoga” room with cots on the floor and fans. There were roaches when I stayed in that room but I believe the other rooms were fine. I would stay here again though that all being said

Surf Hostel in a remote town.The staff were excellent, not many other backpackers here. Bed in 4 bed dorm was wobbly and light from the big bedroom room next door came through into my bunk. Bathrooms could do with updating.

I loved the hostel. Ended up staying longer than I planned. The Volunteers Oscar and Hannah are legends :)

Cool Hostel, very friendly staff. Rooms are rather clean, bathroom semi-clean. It’s located at a main road, which can be a bit loud at night, depending on where your room is. Here’s definitely more a social atmosphere compared to the average hostel.

I had a very nice time here. People are really nice and hostel is beautiful inside with a lot of space, common area, rooftop. A lot of nice furniture and paintings.

A great, hidden place and one of the fewer „social hostels“. I also did surfing the first time there. The teaching was great. Only downside for me: They should definitely modernise the bathroom facilities.

Real Hostel atmosphere worh many international travellers. Atmosphere rarely found in Taiwan.

Great atmosphere,really nice staff, clean hostel, not the most modern but clean hostel with a great vibe.Events in the evening. The surfing lessons were very good, you learnt a lot. At 7am there was always a shuttle to a surfing beach that you basically had to yourself, with half the hostel going with you. Can only recommend it.

Great surf hostel with friendly staff. Good surf lessons too. Had a short stay but I enjoyed myself - will definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Dulan

Good hostel the only downsides are no curtains in the 4 man dorm and only 2 toilets/showers.

Had such a great stay at Wagaligong! Awesome surf hostel in a sleepy but hip town. Will hopefully be back soon!
