Tres Islas Hostel

WARNING: BED BUGS!!!!!!! I’ve contacted the hostel about this issue but they haven’t replied. I heard that others had the same problems in the same dorm (2) a few days before and the issue was obviously not taken care of. Be careful!

Room near the street which was very loud. Very unpleasant light in the room (White). AC was super loud and I had to turn it off in the evening to get some sleep (I have customized sleeping earbuds).

Het hostel heeft een leuke sfeer. Vriendelijk personeel. De hygiëne daarentegen is erg slecht! 2 douches en 2 toiletten die gedeeld worden met alle dorms. De badkamer heeft geen afzuiging waardoor de hele ruimte altijd nat is. Daardoor veel schimmelvorming op het plafond, muren en wasbakken. Er hing tijdens mijn verblijf een short in de badkamer die volledig verschimmeld was. De douches zijn kapot en er is geen spoelsysteem. De volledige badkamer ruikt naar urine en vocht.

Helaas een vies hostel. 0 ruimte om je spullen kwijt te kunnen. Mensen bij de balie zijn niet mega vriendelijk. Wel een goedkope prijs. Dus als je goedkoop wilt en niet veel nodig hebt prima.

Staff were cordial when checking in but it didn’t go much further than that. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean enough but bathrooms stank of mold and it was constantly wet. Beds were comfy but there’s little to no space in the dorms and it felt pretty grim in there. Overall very basic and unsociable.

not only the wifi sucked but the phone reception wasn't good either. cold water, flush didnt work at all. i slept with a GIANt cockroach right above my bed. too hot in the day, too cold at night. i had to leave the area for reception. but it was the only hostel available to book at lastminute

Pretty social for a stop over hostel. However, there was ants all over the room and crawling in the bed. Didn’t SLEEP AT ALL due to LOUD scratching in the ceiling which sounded like RATS. When I approached reception about this they said it was a cat. WHY IS THERE A CAT IN THE CEILING? ITS A ONE STORY HOSTEL I CANT SEE WHY A CAT IS IN THE CEILING. Myself and other guests all said it sounded like rats.

not my favorite place to have stayed at. no athmosphere at all, basically just a place to sleep. right at a loud street so it’s not fun to hang out in the eating area. wouldn’t really recommend, except if you really just want to go for sleeping

I feel this is a regular hostel, nothing more. I was disappointed since I was expecting more animation. You can still meet people in the common area :). The way they welcomed us was quite cold. Also, we booked this hostel with towels included, they didn’t give us towels. Make sure you get a scooter because it’s not in the center (they didn’t have scooter for us so don’t hesitate to book around)

Didn’t mind my stay here but probably wouldn’t stay again. There’s no social atmosphere at all & the rooms are way too tight. Location is good, close enough to the main road by scooter but in quiet area so you’ll get a good sleep.

Good tidy stay

We originally booked 1 night, but ended up staying for 11! Such an amazing hostel, with the best and most lovely staff ever! It is definitely worth the stay. Also has a great kitchen for everyone to use, which we had social dinners at. Also good AC in the room! Very cheap hostel, and that just makes it even better, definitely coming back next time in Siargao🙏🏻

Good Hostel. Comfortable bed with curtains. Dorms are very small for all the guest..

Très bon hostel et le rapport qualité prix. Douches propres et je pense qu’ils ont changé les pommeau de douche. Ac, rideaux, prise personnelle dans tous les formes. La wifi ne marche bien super bien dans les chambres. Ce n’est pas un party hostel mais vraiment je recommande

We had a great stay at tres islas and was always welcomed by a smile by the staff. The hostel has a great kitchen, and comfortable beds to sleep in. Would come back next time on Siargao!

Theres everything you need, bed, shower, kitchen. I stayed in the fanned dorms on the second floor which is basically like sleeping outside with a modquito net which i dont mind. There are just courtains isolating your 5 bed dorm from the rest of the floor but no way to get privacy in your bed. Staff was helpfull enough but not allways around. Very nice common area both up and downstairs with a TV and netflix. Free water refill and close to a bike shop which you will need in Siargao. Dirty showe

Rooms are too tight. Weird smell in the dorms. No hot water. All facilities need an upgrade. The bed was okay and had privacy curtains.

Superb little place to stay with good facilities and friendly staff. Kim is especially helpful and a good laugh. It’s got a chill atmosphere where it’s east to meet people, but there won’t be loud music keeping you up at night. Highly recommend!

Die Zimmer haben total merkwürdig gerochen. Das Bett hat bei der allerkleinsten Bewegung gewackelt. Die Spülung der Toiletten haben nicht immer funktioniert, weshalb natürlich des Öfteren mal Reste noch zu sehen waren. Das wlan war zwar vorhanden, aber es hat wirklich überhaupt nichts geladen.
