K Mansion

Really lovely modern hostel, great dorm and free breakfast was a winner and the staff were lovely. Helped to organise cheap and good day trips and hikes - highly recommend the Jeep safari. Dinner has to be ordered 2hrs in advance but is good food.

Had a good stay at K mansion, the dorms were big and toilets very clean and a great shower. We also used the jacuzzi which is cold but was enjoyable. We also used the tv room to watch a film. It is very quiet there and not much of a social area to meet people but we did have a nice group to go out and explore with.

Ventilation was a big problem because there is no ac and it was quite hot because of summer. The fans were quite slow. Apart from that everything else was awesome

cleanest hostel in india. stayed in a private and a dorm across 3 nights. Good location, little way out from munnar so have to catch busses (that do stop outside hostel) or expensive tuk tuk. On the first night I was there the entire hostel was booked out by agroup so there was no atmosphere and very isolating, they should consider no group bookings in season.Need to order food 2hr in advance, taste fine but expensive. Not much of anatural social environment despite high potential space.

Overall, great hostel, offered breakfast and well as tours around Munnar. Bed was a little wobbly. The location was a bit difficult to get to as you had to get tuktuk into town or catch the bus, but wasn’t so terrible.

This is a good hostel that has a hotel feel. Very good breakfast. Lots of space and common areas, including terrace and rooftop with incredible views. It's quite far outside of Munnar (which for me is a positive), though I have to say it's a little hard to find nice walks in the area since there is only the main street with too much traffic to really enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food good and affordable. I recommend staying here.

The facilities are even perfect. Clean dorm and good food. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Definitely more of a hotel than a hostel, this place is absolutely stunning. The view is out of this world, the place is super clean and the facilities are amazing. The dorm has two bathrooms, both with great showers with hot water. The location is a little hard as it is a fair way out of town, so unless you have your own transport it can be a bit difficult to get around. Otherwise this place is excellent.

Food quality should be improved.

great for some peace & quiet. The balcony is lovely to read on or eat a meal. The location is about a 15 min tuktuk from town/ the start of most hikes and costs around 400rupees (but I wouldn’t recommend staying in town!). The spice gardens down the street are really great to visit. The rooms are clean & comfortable, shower is hot. the only annoying thing is there are about 100 unlabelled light switches. The food is fine &the staff are helpful. Warning: the jacuzzi is cold water only

Absolutely loved our stay at K Mansion! We stayed in a private room & it was amazing such good value for a hostel, it was like a hotel room & the balcony views were stunning! The staff are super helpful & the food is incredibly good. Definitely more relaxing than social if that’s the vibe you’re looking for - the location is pretty far out of Munnar town so there isn’t much around the hostel at all but if you’re after peace and quiet it’s perfect :)

Stayed here and also at Monkey Tribe. Both had very comfortable rooms but the showers were much better at K Mansion, and the small but social balcony area was a great place to meet other travellers. Critically, the front desk staff at K Mansion were way more competent when it came to helping you plan activities in/around Munnar. The food was tasty but the menu is small

What a beautiful hostel located in the hearts of Munnar! The views you get are just stunning from the hostel, dorms are great just downside to all .... if you dont have a driver or someone to travel with or have any sort of transport arrangd to all the sightseeing places then i recommend not coming to Munnar at all as the town is about 40 minutes away , and the sightseeing stuff if 1hour away or more! But overall i loved it here

Clean, quite cute, and delicious breakfast. Perfect for families and groups of friends, but for a solo traveler, I don’t think it’s the best option.

By far the best hostel I've been in India! The views are amazing, the breakfast is great, the rooms are clean...it was so good! The only "bad" thing: keep in mind that you are a 30min ride from Munnar

the staff were really nice here, super helpful and friendly, and they gave lots of tips of what to visit and arranged my kolukkumalai sunrise jeep safari. Quite far out of the town but really nice to be in the nature

Everything was perfect! Staff was incredibly helpful, rooms were clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay :)

Really amazing stay at K mansion. The room was incredible and very comfortable. The free breakfast is very tasty and also the dinner you can order is amazing too. The staff that all work there are so kind and helpful and looked after us very well during our stay! Would highly recommend this hostel

K Mansion is a great hostel with spacious & clean dorms and incredibly helpful staff that organised tours and transport for us. The location is slightly outside of Munnar, but there are many transport options to go into the town and the food at the hostel is great! Would strongly recommend staying here.

Great hostel! The hostel was very clean, the food was good, the view from the balcony was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. When I was down with food poisoning they even offered me some medicine. The only downside I could think of is that it’s quite far from Munnar town

One of the best hostels I stayed at in my whole life. Great view from the terrace and from the small pool on the third floor. The food at dinner time was amazing. The hostel itself is super clean and the staff is very helpful. Can definitely recommend staying there.

Has to be one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, I can't believe how affordable it is. First of all, the architecture is to die for, and with the back drop of the tea fields, you can't go wrong. the staff are so lovely and the food is very tasty. I highly recommend doing the Attukad waterfall trek, but be warned it's hard to find your way back, the buses are a bit all over the place. One thing, is it's not the best for solo travelers, felt lonely but great for couples or groups. Stunning!

Great stay at k mansion! Staff went above and beyond They helped organize a nice half day hike for me for 1300 rupees (less if you have a group), including breakfast and pickup/dropoff My only complaint was that my bottom bunk was full of cobwebs in the top but otherwise the hostel was super clean

The best hostel I’ve stayed in India. You are in the middle of beautiful nature, you get cheap trips recommended and instantly get to know other travelers, you have an amazing breakfast for free, a pool with a view, and during my stay they even organized a guy singing with us one night. Simply excellent.

The overall experience was amazing right from the view to the food that was being served. The staff was always helpful with everything.A bit far from the city center but everything else makes it worth it.

This hostel is amazing. We had such a nice stay here, You have access to very thing you need which is necessary as the hostel is not near any restaurants or the town. The food is excellent, especially the dal, the staff are so helpful and kind. Dorms and super comfy and nice, love the cold jacuzzi and the chill areas. Would 100% recommend staying here and they helped us booked Tuktuk and tours. Amazing base to explore Munnar.
