Selina Serenity Rawai Phuket

We stayed here recently and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The property was extremely unclean, with cockroaches thoughout. The listing is misleading (not poolside at all as shown). A deposit was taken without clear disclosure, and electricity charges more than 1.000 baht for 2 days... are being deducted without prior agreement. This is not about money, but poor service and unfair practices. I request urgent review and a fair resolution. Kind Regards

Usually a good place. As i live in Rawai, i have been going for 1.5+ years regularly & spent 150,000+ baht. Today I was approached by Pow asking that we pay 1200 baht for a day pass or we cant use the pool. I know all the usual staff who are very nice and understand that I easily spend more than that on every visit, I found it rude and ungrateful to treat regular customers like this.

Avoid the restaurant if you either want to-eat together or are hungry and don’t want it wait over an hour for food. This is the second time in a row we have had lunch here and had to wait over an hour for food. One meal comes after 45 minutes. My husband they forgot. And we asked the kitchen the waitress. And no one does anything about it. No apologies. No compensation. We are over an hour 15 waiting and still no food. The kitchen hadn’t even started making it when my husband walked over it ...

It’s totally different from what you see in the photos. And poor service, btw what they offer as activities all charge you, so thus towels locker and so on. After seeing the room and environment I decided to give back the key and leave immediately. (So dark and can’t find a right way up to entrance when I was leaving at around 7pm)

They stole money from our room. It's incredible that this happens in hotels like this.

Do not stay here!! As a digital nomad I have stayed in many Selina's and this one was terrible. Feels run down and shabby, the wifi and the coworking space is what attracts me to Selina, both were not good. Very expensive and way overpriced. A friend told me about this place and I was going to book but after talking to other travelers, you have to pay extra for everything. $70/a night which is expensive in Thailand plus a 25% service fee, and you have to pay extra to access the working space, pool tables, what on earth?? I just left a HOTEL not hostel in Chiang Mai and my stay was $29/night with a pool much nicer than this one, all amenities and breakfast included. $70 a night for this is way too m...

Fuyez cet endroit ! Les photos ne reflètent pas du tout cet hotel. Nous avons payé 5 nuits en chambre DELUXE 😭 et nous avions plutôt une chambre comme une cave avec une minuscule fenêtre sur la rue. 2 chantiers en cours de chaque côté de l'hôtel avec des grues. La télé ne fonctionne pas. La chambre communiquait avec une autre chambre de jeunes chinois bruyants. La plage vous ne pouvez pas vous baigner vu que c est que pour les bateaux. On a décidé de quitter cet endroit

Do not get the food! Overpriced, garbage food. Rooms were clean but overpriced for what they were. Something must have been wrong with the AC because it was dripping in both rooms I stayed in and everything smelled of mildew/mold. Pool area is nice though.

It’s a decent place to stay if you’re not worried too much about money but it seemed very overpriced in the restaurant for the quality of the food and sometimes slow service. I had two meals I couldn’t even stomach eating and I’m not fussy. The pool area is nice and so is the yoga studio. Really nice place and people! It's truly serene, beach facing with a beautiful sunrise view. Pool is really nice too! They have weekly activities and really good ones. Rooms are also very good and clean. Its a must visit place. Also, the staff was super helpful special mention of Som, she suggested nearby places to visit and chill. Overall I loved the vibe of the place!

Fantastic hostel - it felt like a high-end resort hotel, with amazing pool area, and breakfast. Staff was highly professional and very nice

Really enjoyed our 4 day stay in one of the private bungalows. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable. The food was good and we enjoyed the pool area which was very well maintained. Unfortunately the beach area was not the best and was not able to swim but this did not affect our stay as the nearby beaches were nice. There activities to participate in along with a fitness centre and very easy access into the town centre.

I cannot recommend this hostel enough. Gorgeous gardens, day beds & pool set under lanterns - such a pleasant atmosphere to soak up. Plus the tide comes right up to the edge of the property! I stayed in a bunk bed dorm, modest but a decent size get cozy and organise your belongings comfortably. The beds and pillows were comfy and clean. Food was delicious and communal activities were such a fun surprise!! Great way to meet other travellers and learn something new. Staff were super friendly.

Perfekt für Leute die nicht in die Party Area wollen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist toll. Die Anlage ist schön gestaltet und lädt zum verweilen am Pool ein. Die Räume sauber und luxuriös.

Amazing hostel it genuinely felt like a hotel, the pool area is fantastic and staff are so lovely. Only issue is that it’s at the side of a busy road and not much around but honestly everything else makes up for it!! Cannot complain

Super schönes Hostel Resort. Personal war sehr freundlich. Es war alles super sauber! Pluspunkt ist das gratis gym was super ausgestattet war. Der Pool und chill und bar Bereich ist auch sehr entspannt und sauber

Absolutely lovely place, extended my stay it was that nice. Staff lovely, rooms clean, communal kitchen area and gym. Highly recommend. The pool area is lovely they have activities on do you wish to join them. The breakfast is great buffet style with a great selection.

Hatte eine unfassbar gute Zeit hier und konnte einfach meine Seele baumeln lassen. Würde immer wieder kommen!!

Nicest hostel I’ve ever been hands down, just note that it’s not in very good walking distance from the big clubs and bars so it’s a little more quite.

Accueil exceptionnel et les massages Thaï sont extraordinaires avec Koy et Eye qui massent extraordinairement bien, vous sortez de là comme si vous étiez sur un nuage

This is a resort with a hostel. Nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in!

I had a lovely couple of days here! The breakfast spread was wonderful, pool is super nice and staff is very friendly. Perfect place to relax right next to the ocean. Valentina was especially kind and so wonderful to me, she made my experience there even better!

Der Ort war nicht so spektakulär. Aber das Hostel war 10/10. Es gab auch direkt in der Nähe ein super leckeres thailändisches Restaurant. Das beste wo wir in unser gesamten Reise waren.
