Infested with bedbugs, do not book! Not sure how I missed the reviews but me and my friend both came away with bed bug bites and I saw, what I now realise was them, while there. Also the owners stayed up talking super loudly in the common area until late which kept people in the dorm awake despite having signs up to be quiet. And the ac is dripping into buckets all night which kept my friend awake. Also they should make it clear that there is no kitchen or yoga, and hardly a bar during this time

Do yourself a favor and don’t go to this hostel. They have had bedbugs for weeks but do not take the problem serious. They still rent out the beds. They also said they would close the hostel next week but the beds are still available on hostelworld…

BED BUGS!! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL! There was a known bedbug infestation and the staff still allowed us to stay in the beds. Staff said multiple people have complained about the bed bugs but they have done nothing to resolve the issue and are still selling the beds out.

Disgusting bed bugs !!!!! Staff said hostel are aware there is beg bugs but still let people book and stay Aircon was dripping water Left as soon as it was morning and didn’t stay both nights

One of the Worst beds and AC I’ve ever had and I’ve stayed in 100s of hostels and hotels in SE Asia Breakfast was pathetic, dinner was good tho

On our first night in the hostel there was a power cut which we heard had happened the night before also, we therefore weren’t able to get a towel or even see what we were doing. However the biggest problem is the owners choice in friends who when we were out with two other people from the hostel preceded to throw a drink over one of the girls who was passed out..after this he pulled my hair calling me outside for a fight and refused to leave us alone…all because someone drunkenly bumped int...

I contacted the hostel because I needed help as some drunk people went on me swearing. Unfortunately the hostel didn’t do nothing even when I asked for help. Definitely not a place I would like to stay again! Had a horrible experience there! They did not even apologize but rather charged me even more because aparrently the locker was broken due to the fact that those drunken guys broke it. Do not go there!!!

The hostel it’s self was nice. When we arrived they had no towels for us to rent which was abit of a pain, especially if you didn’t have you own towel with you. The main issue is that the staff weren’t very helpful which is unlike any hostel staff we’ve come across in our 5 months of travelling. My friend was very Ill, we had to cut our day short so she could go to bed. The dorms don’t have aircon on in the daytime which is fine but on this occasion I asked the staff it they could swit...

Good aircon but showers were usually cold or broken. Very chilled hostel. 16bed dorms didn’t feel that big, such a good layout

Near the beach, good facilities

Honestly the best hostel on our trip! We ended up extending for two nights as well. Felt very safe and the other guests were so nice :D

Very good hostel, don’t hesitate to book it

This is a really nice and clean hostel. The dorms are well equipped and the people i met in the dorms were all really nice. The local staff were all super friendly and helpful l, but I found the reps and volunteers a bit lacking. Nothing really social going on here and organised activities were a bit poor.

Comfortable beds but the top bunks were so high and the ladder didn’t feel very safe with no handles to hold onto. The island hopping boat trip we booked with the hostel was brilliant!

Aufenthalt war okay für 2 Nächte. Als wir abends ankamen war das Empfangspersonal betrunken und am Feiern. Insgesamt seltsamer Vibe und laut nachts. Gemeinschaftsbereich klein und nicht so gemütlich leider. Hat prinzipiell Potential, war aber nicht unser Vibe. Lauter 18-Jährige Partytourist*innen.

Very nice staff and awesome volunteers (shout out to Gonzalo!!) and a good atmosphere. Good room and facilities, only problem was that a LOT of mosquitos found their way in. Location was good, only a bit hard to find as there were no signs anywhere

My Green hostel was v nice, great location and had a very sociable feel! It was quite noisy from around 5am with cleaners and then music started early and went on till 11. Otherwise a great hostel!

Absolutely loved this hostel! Super clean and nice staff. Very social with events almost everyday. Very good for solo travelers!

I don't think it' even possible to get a better hostel vibe. Had the best 5 days of my trip in the Philippines so far. Amazing crew, location, activities, games... 10/10 or even more if I could

Amazing stay at My Green Hostel! Super social vibe, really easy to meet people from day one. The bunk beds are brand new (just opened about a month ago) and everything is very clean. The staff is awesome, super friendly and helpful, and they organize daily activities, which makes the experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite hostels, highly recommend it!

Uno de los mejores hostels en los que he estado. El ambiente es increíble, súper fácil conocer gente desde el primer día gracias a las actividades diarias. Todo está impecablemente limpio, las camas son comodísimas (se duerme de lujo) y el staff te hace sentir como en casa. Port Barton es un paraíso y este hostel hace que lo disfrutes al máximo: buena vibra, buena comida y recuerdos increíbles. 100% recomendado.

Hostel espectacular. Muy limpio, súper bien cuidado y con camas realmente cómodas. El ambiente es brutal, siempre hay planes y actividades para conocer gente y disfrutar de Port Barton. La comida está buenísima, de lo mejor que probé en el viaje. Se nota que cuidan cada detalle. Vine por dos noches y terminé quedándome más. Volvería sin pensarlo.

Great location. Wonderful staff! Good social atmosphere. Very clean rooms and facilities. Staff was extremely helpful with bookings. Excellent food and service. Will stay again next time! Great experience!

Airco werkte niet top. Deed het wel maar volgens ons niet naar behoren, hij hield in ieder geval niet de graden aan die vermeld stonden op de airco. Douche werd niet warm, maar wel prima voor de rest. Wc’s ook prima. Personeel was aardig en erg behulpzaam, maar vaak onvindbaar wat lastig is bij uitchecken. Locatie was goed, schoonmaak ook. Over het algemeen prima hostel, je kon alleen niet droog zitten in de algemene ruimte wat jammer is.
