Soo many bedbugs

There were bed bugs don’t not stay here, it was so dirty and the staircase up to the rooms was crazy

We turned up at the time which we had told the property we would be there. It was all blacked out, with a man sleeping on a camp bed in the reception. He woke up and was incredibly angry at us for being there. He didn’t have a word of English. He shooed us away and pushed us out onto the street. We had to rebook another hostel at 12am after a long flight. Awful experience, do not book.

Unless you want bedbugs do not stay here!!! Upon checking in, the room appeared clean. However, don’t be fooled the beds are infested with bed bugs. Saw one little bug in the morning and after inspecting the mattress and bed frame more closely, I found bedbugs crawling in the seams. Realized our belongings were also covered in bed bugs. Unfortunately, the staff’s response was less than helpful. They let us leave without paying for our stay, but later on sent us multiple emails demanding for...

Negatives: Dirty room, very loud noise from the street, staff (apart from Natalie) was rude and after having misinformed us regarding how much fuel to put in the motorbike, refused to give any discount/ make a gesture even though they were the ones that gave us the wrong info. Positives: good location

Far below the bar in comparison to other places around. Very bad small in the whole building but especially the room. Sticky floor and stained cabinets.

I dont think that Poisoning attempt to be in a hostel list of services... The female receptionist was obvious falsely nice and returned our bag of laundry properly folded, but with a very strong smell of detergent. We made it cross examined by another hostel and got confirmed this could be due to any reasons but not unintentional : hazard ranging from headaches due to heavy chemicals inhalation and skin contact, to allergies and risks of cancer. Be careful guests.

I did not like this hostel at all, i checked out the first night. The vibe is not good. I orderd pick up but they did not pick me up. I had a sleepless night becuase of the location.

Staff were super lovely and helpful and it was located really close to the beach central to heaps of great restaurants and bars. But no key for the dorms so really anyone could walk in, beds were dirty, bathroom had so much mold and you had to keep your bags outside? I ended up leaving early and booking a hotel near by.

Whole dorm I stayed in had bed bugs, every single bed. And a lot of bugs we were up all night killing them. Was traumatic. Staff seemed like they weren’t aware of it but that many bed bugs do not appear over night. I believe they covered the cost of some of the washing but that’s all.

Emplacement très central, dans la portion touristique de la ville. Proche de la plage et de bons restaurants. À distance (un peu longue) de marche du marché local et du dragon bridge. Chambre privée; propre et confortable. Personnel gentil. N’avons pas profité des activités offertes par l’hostel, mais n’en avons pas vraiment vu non plus qui avaient lieu lors de nos passages in/out dans l’hostel.

Perfect for a short stay, room was lovely with its own ensuite. Bed was clean and it’s located near a lot of good coffee and food options

All in all, it was a decent hostel. It’s not very social, but the room was super clean and nice. However, the shower didn’t work very well.

Honestly loved the staff here, friendly and lovely. Location was great as well as it’s less than 5 mins walk away from the beach. But I really think that this place could do with a proper deep clean. The toilets aren’t the cleanest, and I sadly found a bedbug during my stay.

Fantastic location and friendly staff, however I did find bedbugs during my stay. The staff were as helpful as they could be and washed all my belongings free of charge which was good, how after reading previous reviews it seems this is an ongoing issue. Couldn’t get a good nights sleep during my stay because of this and even after room was ‘fumigated’, there were still bugs everywhere. Annoying as hostel has great potential despite not being that social

This place is spacious,with nice facilities provided such as walk-in countertops outside of each dorm, a separate locker area to avoid too much noise when packing and unpacking, the area is literally in the center of the restaurants and cafe,a few mins from the coast, and quiet roommates. If you prefer sanity and quiet, I recommend you to book this place. Great staff as well!

I recommend. Modern dorm with great A/C. No mosquito. Hot water. Comfortable beds. Polite staff. Good area with lots of restaurants and near the beach. Prior to renting I read negative comments and hesitated. Unfair. It’s a good place. Was is social ? No. But there was enough around to get social. Go !

Great location. Lots of stairs to take if you’re in the upper floors. There were bed bugs in the room during my stay.

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, gut eingerichtet und auch sauber gehalten, kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Das Viertel wirkt eher Alternativ und es gibt auch mehr junge einheimische Menschen dort also auch sehr Interessant mal gesehen zu haben zusätzlich sind auch viele Restaurants, Bars und der Nightmarket in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Strand lohnt sich für Spaziergänge und Morgenworkouts.

Overall my stay here was good - the location was fab & my bed was comfy with good curtains so was private. I liked how there were sinks outside the room so if someone was in the bathroom you could still get brush teeth etc. However, there were no locks on any doors - even if the one to the stairwell was swipe access or a code it would feel safer! Wasn’t much of a common area so I found it hard to meet people, it wasn’t very social & no events. Lobby also had several dogs and smelt of uri...

Overall not a very clean hostel, had 3 dogs which did smell a little. The dorm room was dirty, toilet seat mouldy and stained yellow & my bed had a brown splodge. I did go down and ask reception move and they were very kind, thank you to the lady that said as there was no dorm rooms so I was moved into a private. This was very clean and had no issues so think it was maybe a one off bad dorm. But they resolved it and apologised

Honestly I could not leave a better review for this place! The moment I got to this hostel I felt so safe and cared for. It’s in the most perfect location in Da Nang with food options everywhere and the beach just around the corner. A massive shout out to Bryan and to my lovely Lemon, she is an asset to the company. Without her my experience at the LightHouse Hostel would have been completely different. The best receptionist ever!!! STAY AT THIS HOSTEL !!!

Pretty dark inside the building and the rooms. Staff was extremely nice and kind. I think there are better options but location is awesome. Not the best but not the worst I was worried about bed bugs while I was there due to other reviews.

Le staff c’est adorable et c’est très pratique d’être proche de la plage. Les chambres sont grandes et bien aménagés.

Parfaitement bien situé, le staff est vraiment au top :) proche de la plage 5 min à pied et très bien entretenu
