This is a terrible place

4er-Dorm wurde als Doppelzimmer vermietet. Es waren einfach 2 Betten nicht belegt. Für eine Dorm-Ausstattung ok, für ein Doppelzimmer mit 2 einzelnen Betten war es schlicht zu wenig. 4 Looker, die man nicht braucht, keine Ablage, keine Haken, Zimmergrösse weniger als 10 Quadratmeter. Lage des Hostels mitten im Industriegebiet hinterm Gefängnis. „Standard privates Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten Gemeinschaftsbad“ ist definitiv der falsche Titel.

There is no one running this place as it is a game of king of the hill when you get in. No one to work there, so no rules.... We arrived to one dirty bunk left in a room where we had booked two. We had to ask others to move stuff, we had to be housekeepers and clean that bunk completely to be able to use it. No linen here. Room temperature is fixed to 30 degrees so it is very hot for most. Who ever is in charge here, has a system that does not work, combined with people that maybe do not w

I really appreciated the responsive support from staff once I realized this was a self check-in hostel or maybe it was just after hours? Wasn't really clear. Unfortunately as I booked the day of for a 1 night stay I guess something got crossed and I didn't receive an email with check-in instructions. So make sure you get that if you book a night. Bed situation was unclear and both shower heads were broken.

My group stayed here for one night and glad it was only one night. We were surprised that this was self check-in as it felt very impersonal. The space was clean enough, but nothing special. We feel that the pictures perceived were quite different from the experience we actually got. The atmosphere was nothing special. We never saw any staff during our stay, which felt odd. AC definitely didn’t work in our room. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a social space.

Staffless hostel 30 minute walk from the center of Ponta Delgada. Hostel and facilities were really clean but no one working in the hostel to provide assistance for booking taxis or providing local information.

Relativ unpersönliches Hostel. Die Kommunikation geht nur über eine whatsapp Gruppe, in der Mitarbeiter schnell und zuverlässig antworten. An Mitarbeitenden habe ich nur eine Reinigungskraft persönlich gesehen. Die Küche ist okay ausgestattet aber ganz schön klein. Die Lage ist ein wenig ab vom Schuss (2-3km zum Zentrum), das lässt sich aber einfach mit einem Mietsroller überbrücken. Insgesamt war es sauber und okay für einen Tag - wer eine Hostelcommunity sucht ist wahrscheinlich fals...

Nice starting point for your adventures on Sao Miguel. My room had a window/door access to the outside common area so some nights it was a bit loud but that thats more on the guests than the hostel.

Very nice hostel to stay near Ponta Delgada centre. Good breakfast and amazing terrace with pool and ocean view

By far 10+!!! What a wonderful Hostel absolutely amazing staff who is always going the extra mile, spotless and great location.

Fantastic hostel in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel! Impeccably clean, comfy beds, towels and breakfast included. Staff were friendly and helpful, cleaning every day. Other guests were quiet and polite, the rooftop patio was so lovely for evenings and suntanning. Pool is clean and refreshing!

Solid hostel if you just a place to sleep and go on your next adventure. Nice balcony and rooms. I would start breakfast a bit earlier. Not very good for socializing

Típico hogar para surfistas y mochileros. Ambiente multicultural.

Sehr sauber, schöne Räume und gute Gesellschaft. Parksituation sehr gut. Schöner Ausblick und direkt an Autobahn/ Promenade.

Nice hostel, staff is very nice and it is easy to meet people. The showers could be bigger, they are quite small but they cannot really change it due to layout. The blanket/ matress cover Situation is a mess as the covers are too small for the matress. But you get free breakfast which is nice and the View from the roof is great. It is a little outside the city but easy to walk and perfect If you have a car because there are way more parking spaces than in the Center.

1A Hostel! Werde wieder kommen! Meine liegen gelassene Uhr bekam ich problemlos wieder. Morgens sogar ein kleines Frühstück! In der Stadt kannsg du günstig einen Roller mieten, dann ist die Lage auch kein Problem! Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Kinda far from the city center, a solid 25 minute walk I don’t recommend doing at night or alone if you’re a woman. Super great FREE breakfast! Nice pool, staff and fellow travelers nice. Was very quiet, got lots of good sleep!

Great hostel and comes with a pool. The staff are very friendly and was easy to meet people here.

This is a terrible place

Lily was the first staff I met and she was lovely. But ABBY MADE MY TRIP. She was such a sweet heart and so welcoming and fun!!! Best Aussie ever!!!!

Lovely rooftop, cool place, highly recommended. Location is a fair walk from the centre (with the nightlife etc.), which was perfect for me.

Good hostel. 20 min walk to town. Pool and rooftop is cool. The AC just works from the owners phone, so you can’t switch it on or controls the temperature
