Travellers Hostel Hikkaduwa

Zou deze zeker niet aanraden. Kan veel worden verbeterd. Zie hieronder. Ben uit ellende eerder weggegaan. Ook mag er wel vermeld worden dat het lijkt alsof de trein, die langs het hostel loopt, dwars door je kamer gaat en veel lawaai veroorzaakt.

Room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 4pm. Room is right next to a train track- so just be aware! Cockroaches in the room. Very very hot, with a broken fan. No free breakfast and the wifi didn’t work. Staff weren’t very helpful or welcoming. There isn’t parking for tuktuks.

No se merece ni una estrella..El peor hostal de Sri lanka.Las fotos no reflejan para nada la realidad.Las chicas no se preocupan nada de sus huéspedes.Las habitaciones desgastada un poco sucia, el colchón súper viejo y incómodo.Casi no hay toma eléctrica para poner enchufes.. en la habitación con 4 camas solo había 1!Esta enfrente a la via del tren con lo cual día y noche se escucha el tren pasar.No lo recomiendo a nadie..Reserve 3 noches y solo me quedé 1 porque ya no había donde

The hostel is very dirty and hot. We switched to the hotel room after one night and that was better. The staff is not very friendly, and wouldnt even let us keep our luggage there after checking out. We did our laundry here and the clothes came back with new stains and smelled really bad. We complained about the clothes, but the lady blamed us for the stains and said «you have eaten curry»?? No we havent haha! Would not stay here again.

Nobody was here to check-in! After 2 hours waiting and a few calls without answering I booked an other hostel !!

Had a pool which was great but found a cockroach crawling around in our room and then manager started fighting some random guy. We left after the first night and asked for a refund for the second night yet they said no. Wouldn’t recommend.

Les trains qui passent à 5 mètres des dortoirs , c’est mortel. Rien à ajouter

This hostel is close to the beach, bus station and city. I got a towell for free, the WiFi is working, hot water. The staff is friendly, but not always around when you have a question. The room could be cleaner and more friendlier. And in the description and pictures was standing they offer breakfast. They don't. :/

great location in hikkaduwa. isn’t the nicest hostel and it had no hang area at all but no real complaints other than the holes in the mossie nets. the staff were nice and for the super cheap price it was perfect

You get what you pay for, some of the fans were broken, there are no usable outlets in the front dorm, and the wifi is really spotty unless you're outside on the patio.

Diffidate dalle recensioni a 2 Stelle. Ostello bello, pulito e a gestione familiare. Possibilità di usare la cucina e la piscina dell'hotel adiacente. Per il prezzo che si paga qualità alta!

only stayed there for one night on my way to the south but really enjoyed my time there, close to the beach and main street and staff was friendly as well
