Villa Doraz

The owner is untrustworthy !!! I booked a shuttle with them and they forgot me… so i had to stay one more night and they ask me to pay for it ! This place is a joke … Only good thing it’s clean and the place is nice.

The dorm is infected with flying wood termites. Be prepared for wood shavings in your bed and bugs falling on you at night. Attended the owner to it but he didn't seem very concerned. The rest of the place was also not very clean.

Wenig Ablagefläche im Zimmer. Balkon und Chill Möglichkeiten sind nicht einladend. Wasser in der Dusche wechselt zwischen kochend heiss und kalt. Es gibt kein Tuch für den Fussboden, so dass nach dem Duschen das Badezimmer nass ist. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Küche ist ein Chaos. Es ist schmutzig und nicht aufgeräumt. Mit ein wenig Investment könnte man einiges herausholen.

The place was clean 2 months ago, but now we entered the room and spider webs hung from the ceiling. Blood stains on the bedsheets, dirt on the floor. If this was a clean place it was basic but fine, but this was not ok. We left before we spent the night there, checked into a different place. Note: the owner was out of town and offered a night for free in another room. But we had checked in elsewhere. Also: we arrived at Doraz Hostel and the lady there gave us a ride to Doraz Villa's, nice!

Bon hostel très bien placé avec cuisine bien équipée. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Manque un petit espace extérieur pour se poser sinon tout est très bien !

okay for a short stay, dirty kitchen without a lot of utensils. they have pretty cheap shuttles to wherever, but nobody speaks english. just weird vibes overall

Das Dorm hat 6 Betten, leider keine Fenster und es gibt auch sehr wenig Platz für das Gepäck. Auch die Küche ist sehr eng, hat aber alles, was man braucht. Es gibt auch eine Küche draußen, die ich aber nicht benutzt habe. Der Gastgeber Jorge ist super, bei Fragen einfach an ihn wenden.

Amazing location in Boquete - great for getting around on foot and parking also available. Our private room was really nice but there was a LOT of ants/small insects which got into a lot of our things.

Super hostel idéalement situé ! J'ai adoré l'ambiance assez intimiste, on a quasiment l'impression de partager un airbnb avec des amis ! J'y ai fait de superbes rencontres. Il y a seulement 8 lits, donc assez peu de monde, les espaces communs ne sont pas très grands mais font très bien l'affaire ! La cuisine est bien équipée. Jorge est toujours disponible pour aider et répondre à toute question, il ne faut pas hésiter à lui écrire sur WhatsApp. Le meilleur rapport qualité/prix de ...

Superbe hostel ! Nous sommes arrivées et il n’y avait pas assez de lit dans le dortoir. L’hôte nous a donc surclassé dans une chambre privée avec 2 lits double. Il nous a donné des conseils sur les randos à faire à boquete. La chambre était très propre.

Good location and I like the dorm pods, not much space for bags but the hostel is a great price for what you’re getting! Kitchen available too with lots of appliances

One of the most homey and inviting places I stayed at in Peru. It was warm with nice cats and the owner was a very nice lady. If you are looking for socialization—you should probably just skip sacred valley haha. But if you just want to explore then this is a very nice place to spend 2 nights in and we’re very glad we did it. The place had a nice living room area and some hammocks on a rooftop upstairs. Ollyantaytambo is very small so no complaints about location.

The hostel is clean and cosy. It’s in a great location, has a well equipped kitchen and a lounge area. Stayed here for 2 nights and didn’t see a member of staff once. I almost left without being able to pay as there was never anyone around. Also they always leave the front door and the room doors open and there’s nowhere to lock away any valuables.

Tenia mucho tiempo que no dormía tan bien, practicamente es como tener un mini cuarto privado y eso me encantó, el dueño ofrece añgunas cosas para que comas, y a pesar de que no es nada lujoso, es una casa pequeña pero da oportunidad a conocer a los demas viajeros, definitivamente me volveria a hospedar ahí

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Villa Doraz sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Jorge war super herzlich und hat uns in allem zur Seite gestanden und uns geholfen unsere Ausflüge zu organisieren! Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und es gab sogar gratis Pancakes mit Belägen zum Selbstmachen! Alles ist sehr gemütlich und häuslich eingerichtet, trotzdem hat man seine Privatsphäre! Der Waschservice war ebenfalls super und ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis :)

The owner is very kind and keen to help. We had to change the date and it was no problem for him. The rooms are big and clean. The hot water didn't work on the first day but he got it fixed. It's really central. Recommended!

I had a really lovely time at Villa Doraz. Jorge the owner is very helpful and welcoming, gave me lots of activity suggestions in the area. I stayed in the dorm which has very comfortable beds and pillows, those are hard to come by in Latin American hostels. The dorm kitchen is well stocked. I saw complaints about the shower never being the right temperature but I found if you turned the hot tap all the way it was perfect! Super safe town but it would be nice to have lockers in the rooms.

Very nice staff and in a good location. Clean, safe hostel, could have more luggage space for the amount of travelers in the room.

Das Hostel ist sehr familiär, die Mitarbeiter unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt zwei gut ausgestattete Küchen, eine drinnen, eine im Garten. Alles war sauber. Der Dorm hat leider kein Fenster, ansonsten sind Vorhänge und Steckdosen in der Kabine vorhanden. Vom Hostel aus ist man schnell im Stadtzentrum und an der Busstation. Das Hostel ist ruhig und trotzdem hat man hier schnell Kontakte geknüpft.
