Mad Monkey Bangkok

On a passée deux nuits dans cet hôtel. Première nuit, au matin, nous retrouvons 2 punaises de lit, une sur le lit et une autre sur un sac. Après, on est allé voir l'accueil et ils nous ont changé aussitôt de chambre merci à eux. Faite attention aux punaises de lits malheureusement je ne pense pas qu'il est pris le problème vraiment au sérieux. On avais vu avant de venir certain commentaire qui disait qu'il y avait déjà des punaises de lits. Sinon le personnel est vraiment bien.

Bed bugs, I searched my mattress and couldn’t find any but I woke up with bites in lines on my arms and cluster in my face. I have stayed at many hostels around the world while this place is fun and a cute social vibe the rooms are not very nice. My water in my shower went out twice randomly and would be off for hours at a time. My toilet also sometimes wouldn’t flush which is really disappointing for a shared bathroom. The room was not very clean with drinks from the week before still sitting out on the shared space days after I got there. There were no hooks for our towels which meant my towel stayed damp and it got musky after one day. Finally the mosquitos were horrible I got bitten up every night and I killed probably close to 60 mosquitos in just 3 days. Overall I think they need to take cleaning more seriously and address the mosquitos especially with the dengue fever epidemic. I did really like the free water though and the AC worked well. Also the location is just ok you can water taxi but all other public transport is not with in walking distance.

Very horrible experience. Don't book unless you want to get bitten by bedbugs.

Met lots of lovely people here but the staff were overall quite unfriendly. Then we found bed bugs which ruined the stay for us on top of about a million mosquitos in the room. You're also not allowed to bring any food or drink in which is a bit ridiculous that I can't even have a pack of crisps in the privacy of my room.

We enjoyed our time at his hostel. Great pub crawls, atmosphere and staff at the bar area make you feel welcome, laundry service works well too. However, we were getting bitten SO much so we then inspected our bedding and found bedbugs!! Our roommate also found one in his bed too. We complained to reception, they apologised and said we could have a free coffee which to be honest isn’t really that helpful after stinging everywhere. We later ask at the bar to then be told we could have had our whole breakfast for free but as they state ‘no refunds’ there wasn’t much they could do. Maybe just travel with bedbug spray..

The floor manager was great! The rooms were not. My bed had bedbugs. I showed them video of them. Unfortunately couldn’t refund me so they switched me rooms. They were very apologetic and kind but I would rather have been refunded to find somewhere else. My room 314 didn’t really lock and there were no separation shades in men’s room. 301 didn’t notice anything but didn’t look either.

blood filled ticks and bed bugs in beds along with multiple mosquitoes in room. Staff asked for a review so i told staff about it and got ignored and ghosted lol

Great stay and really enjoyed myself, but bathrooms and rooms were very dirty. Floors were sticky and bathroom setups were odd and kinda gross. My roommate saw a bed bug on his curtain. Eeeekk.

Sheets were dirty, got bed bugs, staff really strict about bringing any food or drinks in. I wouldn’t come back. Location is good

Bathrooms smelt really bad. There were mosquitos all through our bedroom, one of us got bed bugs & the blankets were very thin and didn’t do much. Wouldn’t hurry back here.
