POD 51

I got a bunk bed room with my friend, we have both been bitten by bed bugs in out 4 days of stay.

I believe my bed had bed bugs as it was itchy to sleep in

Room service was mediocre, no bed setting. Apart from that everything was great. Just don’t expect anything else.

I got bed bugs. I had many bites around my wrists, hands, forearm, neck and back. This cause me so much money to throw away clothes and suitcases. I’m extremely disgusted and annoyed by the situation.

As I was falling asleeo for a very short sleep cycle, I felt small tickles on my face and immediately began to panic on the inside that, I might be covered in bed bugs, my pillow was less than adequate and the beds were hard. For having 2 rooms reserved, we were as far apart as possible which made things difficult for managing my children. No one seemed to clean the bathrooms and there was no antiseptic used between each bathroom use, which makes me worry about athletes foot exposure.

I found two bedbugs on my bed and was able to kill one and took it to reception. The person at the front desk immediately gave me a new room. I asked for help with moving my bags to the new room but the bellmen was just finishing his shift and had already changed his clothes (was the response from the front desk). They were nice in accommodating me in another room but they never apologized for the bed bug issue nor did they follow up with me to tell me the room would be fully cleaned or disinfected of the bugs. They did not offer to pay for my laundry either. I made a complaint via booking and the hotel asked me to deal with booking.com guest services directly; which I did. Booking.com customer service was able to get me the cost of one night reimbursed from the hotel. In my opinion they should have comped my entire stay and paid for a room in another hotel. I had bites from the bed bugs all over my neck, chest and arms.

I stayed in room 1128 on Tues. June 27. I've stayed a few times at Pod and had no issues until this latest stay: woke up with bug bites on my arms. Not sure if sheets weren't changed or bed bugs?? will not stay again.
