Y-Not Laos Hostel

- I never write negative reviews, but in this case, it is about the safety of (especially female) guests, so here we go: I had one of the worst nights in my life as in the middle of the night, a foreign drunk man sneaked into the female dorm where it was me and one other girl. There was no one to help us and we didn't know what intentions this guy had. We managed to take our most important stuff and flee. Thank god this other girl knew someone who eventually got rid of that man. It was another hostel guest. We didn't get any kind of apology, they just with a hand showed us to go back into the room and that was it. The intrusive guy was allowed to stay obviously because I saw him at breakfast the next morning. Another thing - I hardly meet such unhelpful, cold hostel workers in SE Asia as I did here. It was pretty surprising, like if they didn't want to be here, nor receive guests. I don't expect to be treated like a queen, just some politeness and basic friendliness. As others also said in the comments (which as you can see the owner answers in a pretty rude way), this place is not clean, really not and it also looks not taken care of at all, what you also can see on pics from other guests. I needed accommodation for one night in this exact location, so I booked without having read the other reviews. Never will I make the same mistake again. It was a horrible, scary experience.

- Super dirty!! The toilet was full with shit and the door of the bathroom can't close until the end so you can see who's inside. Moreover the AC is on only between 11-6 am and 11-4 pm , so in the morning you sweating. להתרחק כמה שאפשר, לא שווה שום מחיר שבעולם!

- Douche avec vis-à-vis intérieur et extérieur Sanitaire sale avec vis-à-vis Impossibilité de fermer la chambre à clé. Si vous êtes une femme, je vous conseille de réserver la chambre spéciale femme. Néanmoins, préparer-vous à tout de même avoir du passage devant la chambre si porte ouverte (à cause de chaleur insupportable) Dans l’annonce est indiqué que les chambres sont climatisées, cependant la télécommande est confisquée 2 fois dans la journée (cf photo). Un simple petit ventilateur est activé avec une chaleur insupportable. Nous avons donc changé d’établissements.

+ Contrairement à certains avis négatifs, les chambres et les sanitaires étaient très propres ! L’hostel est proche du centre et des lieux d’intérêts. Le personnel a l’accueil est très agréable
