Fuyez. Nous avons eu une expérience horrible dans cet hostel morbide qui pue l’humidité…nous avions réservé une chambre privative avec salle de bain privée. En arrivant, on nous amène dans un dortoir (ou plutôt un trou à rats minuscule) avec deux lits superposés sans draps avec une odeur nauséabonde d’urine. Cela ne correspondait pas aux photos de la chambre que nous avions réservé à 100€ la nuit!!!! Pas de remboursement possible. On a du se battre pour changer.. pour un aut...
Avoid at all cost! A number of guests in my dorm including myself were robbed of cash and belongs from another guest. After talking with reception, it was found that this guest was known to the hostel for stealing from people on a previous occassion, although the hostel still allowed the guest to stay at the hostel. Hostel also did not remove the guest from the room after it was found that he was stealing from other guests.
Booked a 6 bed dorm and were put in a room with 12 beds and were told that we had to pay more if we wanted to change rooms. The outside door to the room couldn’t be closed properly meaning it was very loud & there were lots of mosquitos in the room. The room & mattresses were filthy and wasn’t cleaned once in the 6d we were there. There was also only one toilet to service the entire floor which had 5-6 rooms meaning you’d often have to wait for the toilet/shower. Definitely not worth the...
Bad hostel experience. One of the staff tried to overcharge me at the terminal until I questioned the amount. The place is filthy—yellowed sheets, brown-stained mattresses, and bunk beds that clearly haven’t been cleaned in years. The laundry service is a joke: my clothes came back late, damp, and smelling terrible, even after paying nearly €10. They also charge to store your luggage after checkout. Avoid this place at all costs
The location of the hotel is great and common areas as well. But the room was not what we booked. We asked for a 6 bed and we got a room of 12. The room is super small with no space for movement.

I didn't get the piece that comes in the picture. it was gross, dirty, bad savannahs. nothing to see but the photo and hostelworld stealing my silver. some chants
Such a boring hostel. Wasn’t even allowed to bring a guest in at 5pm.
It is weirdly dispersed, so it is difficult to meet other people in the hostel. The location is 3 minutes from ipanema beach so that’s good but it almost felt like because of the location they did not work on the quality of the hostel itself.
Very uncooperative, unfriendly and rude staff. Place doesn't look clean only 1 bathroom for 12+ people. Uncomfortable bed and noisy room. Wouldn't return.
One of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The place is super dirty and the bathrooms are nasty. Several showers don’t have doors or the doors don’t close properly in a mixed bathroom. The rooms are small and old. The beds are squiky and super uncomfortable. The facilities are not inviting and the kitchen is dirty. The staff is friendly but can’t give many recommendations on the city or events. Location is the only thing good. Priced over $100 for carnival, I do not recommen...

Amazing staff! Made all the difference 🫶
El lugar esta bien ubicado pero la habitacion olia a humedad. La luz hizo corte el primer dia y nos quedamos sin luz en la habitacion el resto de los dias. Dimos aviso en recepcion pero nunca la arreglaron (solo nos quedamos con la luz de la lampara). Ademas, se salio tambien la tapa del inodoro. No volveria.
The place is well located but the room smelled of humidity. the light went out the first day and we were without light in the room the rest of the days. we gave notice at the reception but they never fixed it (we only kept the light from the lamp). also, the toilet cover came out too. i would not come back.
Nicola was so kind to me and everyone at the hostel she made me feel so welcome Michelle was also very kind and helpful Cleanliness around the mattress frame could be improved I saw a lot of dust there
a good hostel, but I wouldn't stay there again. the room was very small and it wasn't very social. liked that it had female only bathrooms, which were clean (the mixed bathooms weren't as clean).
Great property, perfect location to the beach and shops. Was very quiet, with lots of activities to join
I had a lovely stay, Leo and Alfredo were so so friendly! Lovely area to chill with hammocks, only lots of mosquitos there. Beds were great with curtains, only small room but you have 2 lockers so enough space to store your stuff. Location was great, 1 block from the beach and 1 block from lots of shops and restaurants, highly recommend!

I spent 6 weeks traveling around Brazil and this was by far my favorite hostel. It felt like a home and I met amazing people here. Perfect balance of social and relaxed, always activities, but also quiet spaces to unwind. Very clean, comfortable beds, great staff, and an overall great vibe. The caipirinhas were also some of the best I had. I’d definitely come back!
We loved staying here. The location is PERFECT! Amazing, walkable area super close to the beach. The staff- especially Rodrigo, were so helpful and fun to be around. We loved it! It’s a bit pricey for what it is but so is everything in Rio

Great location-a little hard to find at first but great security with locked door. Not as many blankets as I would like, more of an old school bunk bed hostel but great value for price and everything was clean!

I loved my stay here! Super friendly staff (a big thanks to Pedro who has been the nicest and helped me a lot) and the location is just great. I also liked the fact that we had some privacy in the rooms. I ended up extending and when I’m back in Rio I will book here again

Has such a nice stay there, great open space, the best location, beds have curtains, lights and everything and the staff is so sweet. Lucas - best receptionist ever🫶
A very comfortable and highly recommended option in Ipanema, just one block from the beach and two blocks from the nearest metro station. Breakfast is not included, but the coffee is always ready, and the bathrooms and rooms are very clean. Highly recommended for the price.

O quarto compartilhado é bem pequeno, mas o custo e benefício vale a pena. No quarto feminino a região do espelho é mal iluminado, para fazer maquiagem nao é possível. A voltagem das tomadas do hostel sao todas 127v, quem vem de fora do país ou estados (SC) que a voltagem é 220 nao é possível fazer uso do próprio secador, por exemplo. Nao há secador a ser compartilhado, tem apenas fixado nos quartos privados. Se o seu secador tiver voltagem diferente ou nao tem, voce fica sem.
The shared room is quite small, but the cost and benefit is worth it. no women's room in the mirror region is poorly lit, to make-up is not possible. the voltage of the hostel's outlets are all 127v, whoever comes from outside the country or states (SC) whose voltage is 220 is not possible to make use of the own dryer, for example. there is no dryer to be shared, it has just been fixed in our private rooms. if your dryer has a different voltage or does not have one, you are left without one.
A little quiet atmosphere wise but nice hostel and great staff
