El trato del recepcionista muy informal, no hay lokeers, no hay limpiezas en el los colchones muy finos y con chinches

It IS really 1-star. Consider that and read "Important info" about bedlinen and towels. So beside that: THIS 1-star should be cheaper, all rooms are underground, no fresh air and the best part of this section are bedbugs! I added photos from my room (2026 June). Have a nice trip!

Bed bugs and other bugs, manager did not care. I showed him proof of bugs and it was clear to me he was just going to change sheets and put someone in room (I left early even though paid for another night). Scary also, heard other clients talking about whether our door was locked. Not a traveler hostel, most there seem like formerly homeless or out of jail.

I unfortunately need to warn everyone considering to book about bed bugs as I have bites all over my body after a night at the hostel (private room) and saw a bed bug on the bed in the morning.

There were bed bugs in the room and they bite.

I think I got bed bugs here. Very bizarre. Shower doors don’t close or lock. Sink falling off the wall. However, very close to train station

It was very unclean , Even a lot of mosquito and bed bugs. Even it is not even look like a hostel. There are lot of asylums people staying there , even they look so weird m

If chronic diarrhea was a hostel this is it! This was a miserable experience start to finish. The smell will haunt my grandchildren’s dreams. I was in room 9 and two of the other beds were occupied with long term reside ts who laid in bed rotting all day. The other was an older man who insisted the door remain open at all times- not a problem due to the stench. Bed bugs!! Washrooms were filthy. Overall vibe was very much like a Soviet era gulag. Rooms are all basement with no windows. Common areas are stark and uncomfortable. Kitchen has resident troll who mutters unintelligible curses while throwing out anything within reach. I suggest smoking- even if you don’t smoke you should start- it will give you another reason to step out of the hovel and I’d say the only observable social element was the cluster of lost souls huddled on either side of the entrance hoping for lung cancer with ever despairing breath. Never again!! The only redeeming element is location but there are other options like sleeping in the streets.

Alles andere. 1.) Das Personal: Der vermeidliche Manager sagt beim hineinkommen, dass boch 70 SEK zu zahlen sind für Bettzeug. Nirgens ist das gestanden (ich war wirklich in vielen Hostels und Jugendherbergen und checke das immer davor). Die Putzfrau hat laut Putzplan das Hostel seit drei Wochen nicht mehr geputzt und so sieht alles auch aus: es ist verlottert, baufähig und es stinkt erbärmlich. 2.) Mitbewohner: Dieses Hostel ähnelt einer Obdachlosenauffangstelle. Meine Mitbewohnerin hatte wohl eine Psychose und musste alle 15 Minuten ihr Bett machen und anschliessend Duschen gehen. Das tat sie den ganzen Tag lange. Meine Andere Mitbewohnerin war krank und verhustete unser Zimmer die ganze Nacht hindurch. Zudem sind Bettwanzen auch Mitbewohner in den Matrazen. 3.) Preis-Leistung: Ich wurde vom Schnäppchen von 25 Franken geblendet und haben nicht auf die zahllosen schlechten Bewertungen geschaut. 4.) Ausstattung: Nicht vorhanden. Weder beim Bad (Wc Papier, Abtrocknungstücher) noch bei der Küche (alles hat gefehlt ausser einem Wasserkocher und einer Mikrowelle) Ich kann nur dieses Hostel beim Konsumentenschutz melden. Das tat ich auch! Ich habe für drei Nächte gebucht und nach einer Nacht mit der Polizei gedroht. Die erste Nacht musste ich trotz der Ereignisse trotzdem zahlen. Dem werde ich jedoch nachgehen.

Que estaba super sucio, olia a vomito y a sobaco y lo mas importante de todo, tengo el cuerpo lleno de picaduras de chinches y pulgas. Me tuve que ir en mitad de la noche porque me encontre la cama llena de estos bichos que anidan en camas y lugares que nunca se limpian. Es una plaga que debe tratarse lo que no entiendo es como han pasado las inspecciones de sanidad.

Pure horror. I never would have thought that I would feel such relief simply from the fact that, by some wild happenstance, I didn't get bedbugs. Please avoid this place at all costs. If you're in need of an adventure, watch Midnight Express instead - you’ll get to see the same type of accommodation (the Turkish prison) but without the permanent (luckily for me, only mental) scarring.

Nope, never again. Mould everywhere. The price on the website isn't the full price. You have to pay ≈7€ extra for the bedsheets. Which is ridiculous. Already paid 20€ for this place. Which feels like a prison. Don't go there. Had to leave after 1 hour of stay and didn't get a refund . *Bedbugs everywhere.

To have to walk another 6 blocks with my bag with vague directions to get to the actual place where I was supposed to be sleeping was at best, poor. The staff were less than pleasant. Everything was quite dated and although it looked clean I came away with itchy welts that I now identify as bedbugs,. I remember seeing the bugs on my bed, they were quite large and when you squeezed them they stunk, After research I realized that they were big and slow moving because they were full of my blood.🤬

Un sitio asqueroso, insalubre y peligroso para la salud pública. Las camas tienen chinches y no dan ninguna solución. Por favor que lo cierren cuanto antes o hagan una inspección de sanidad. Nos fuimos en cuanto vimos la cantidad de chinches y lo asqueroso que era.

i had to leave the facility early not only because it felt unsafe (received code but when i came back late at night the door was unlocked and there was some very questionable people in the lobby) and unclean (my bed was not emptied before i arrived and had the previous guests dirty linens in it, the room felt very humid and dirty, BUT the worst of it all, before i put my head on the pillow there was a bed bug (vägglus) crawling on the wall, i was so tired so i tried to ignore it, but when i woke up to go to the bathroom and got back, there was not only one on my pillow, but smaller ones on my earplugs. i was so disgusted i decided to get out. ive stayed at several hostels through my years traveling, and since this one was in my homecountrys capital, i felt it would be up to decent standards regardless of the simplicity and relatively low price, however this is by far the worst hostel ive stayed in, only one time before have i experienced bugs which im aware of is a common issue in hostels, but at least then the rest of the hostel was decent. also, there was not enough lockers for each bed and no outlet to charge your phone by the bed. if you have any other options, i recommend you to NOT stay here. or at least bring bug spray. im horrified.

As long as you book another day, they show their friendlier side.. The hostel is like a social overnight temporary "hostel" in a ghetto district of Budapest wich is FREE, but here you don't sleep with thousands of cockroaches. There's a nest of bed bugs in here! I threw all the clothes I used in the hostel in the garbage container! It's not enough that the run-down Hostel is overpriced.. I am attaching the proof of the two nights when my whole body was full of bed bug bites and I had a fever. May the Lodge bed bugs are INFECTED!

❗️DON’T SLEEP HERE (especially women) ❗️ the rooms are in the basement without any windows. It’s extremely dirty and everywhere is dust and fallen off plaster from the walls. There are cleaning lists everywhere but it looks like nobody cleaned in months! It looks like you’re sleeping in a construction site. While doing Construction works in the other rooms they don’t even take out the mattresses or beds and don’t clean up afterwards, it’s horribly dirty, everything is covered in it. The extra mattresses and cushions etc are stored in an improper place with lots of dust and dirt as well. It’s an extremely creepy place where you feel unsafe. Also: BED BUGS!!

Would give a higher rating if there were no bed bugs issues. I had the worst insects attack in my life; it looks like I have been attacked by hundreds of bed bugs just for a single night stay.

Nos metieron en una habitación con mendigos, q estaban desnudos, con botellas de alcohol al lado y oliendo muy muy mal. Cuando entramos en la otra habitación que nos dieron ( por la cual nos cobraron más ) estaban las camas llenas de mata chinches, había chinches y garrapatas.

Das Hostel hatte sowohl im Frauenschlafsaal als auch im angebotenen Alternatiivzimmer Bettwanzen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, doch der Fakt, dass in zwei angebotenen Zimmer Bettwanzen im Bett und an den Wänden krabbeln ist nicht akzeptierbar!

resumidamente no hemos dormido ninguna de las noches que habíamos cogido en este hostal por lo siguiente: Para empezar cuando llegamos absolutamente nadie nos atendió, fue entonces cuando nos cruzamos con otras dos personas alojadas en el hostal que nos mostraron su piel llena de picaduras de chinches y diversos insectos que encontraron en las sábanas de las camas. Las condiciones sanitarias eran pésimas, el hostal desprendía un olor desagradable y los residentes en el hostal eran vagabundos.

This is the most horrid accommodation business I have ever seen in my life. This place is apparently more like a shelter and a meeting point for the homeless, and the "hostel" bit is a side business of some sort. There are bed bugs everywhere, the kitchen is filthy and a stage for frequent fights with the owner and apparently dispossessed people who shelter and watch tv here. Everything, everything is in disrepair. The fridge is crammed full of... something. There won´t be space for your stuff. The safety lockers are all crammed with the various belongings of the more or less permanent residents. Sign in for an unforgettable experience for some ghostly scenes such as the "dormitory hallway", fit for a horror film scene, a haunting trip to the disarray and chaos downstairs where the private rooms await. Witness the cling-film strapped, thoroughly-stained beds, the awkward stains on the floors and walls. Pro tip: If you leave the lights on, it apparently deters some of the bed bugs. A very bleak and ghostly experience, if you´re into that. As a bonus, tenacious vermin will lay their eggs on your stuff and follow you home!

Initially I thought - ’ll only be staying for a few hours to sleep across 2 nights and leave for the airport at 3am on check out morning, the price seems reasonable so what could go wrong?' However, I was completely WRONG - THE PLACE HAD BED BUGS EVERYWHERE. On the first night, I didn’t notice them because I quickly fell asleep after a long day of travelling. When I woke up, I observed some skin rashes and bites, but I assumed I had gotten them elsewhere. On the second morning, the staff moved me to a different room, even though my original room wasn't occupied. After leaving my belongings in the new room and going out for sightseeing, I returned in the evening to find bed bugs crawling on the bed. I complained and they then moved me back to the original room, but within 15 minutes, bed bugs began to appear again. I had to check out late in the evening on the second night due to the severe cleanliness and bed bug issues. I requested a refund, but they only refunded me for the first night. When I got to the airport, I checked my stuff thoroughly only to found my stuff were infested by bed bugs! Additionally, they charge exorbitant fees (about 10euro) for bed sheets and towels that weren’t even clean.

Verschrikkelijk hotel. De ligging is geweldig, maar daar heb je het ook mee gehad. Ik zit onder de beten van bedwantsen! De bedden zijn oud, de kamers hebben geen raam, brrrrrr.

Atout positif, établissement proche de la gare centrale. Côté négatif, ambiance peu attrayante, donnant l'image d'un centre d'hébergement social. Propreté tout juste acceptable, pas de verre, ni couverts dans la cuisine. Chambre 12 présence de punaises de lit. Le responsable nous a changé de chambre même scénario, avec des punaises de lit. Sommes partis avant la fin de séjour et trouver un autre établissement.

Que deberían de controlar los chinches. Una noche hubo varios los maté, y otras ya no vi. De todas formas en Estocolmo lo peligroso son las garrapatas que provocan encefalitis y puedes coger una por la calle, ,me lo dijo la farmaceútica que me vendió un repelente de insectos.

Las camas son muy poco cómodas, y debe de evitarse que haya chinches.

WARNING! BED BUGS EVERYWHERE! No measures were taken to get rid of them. There were no rooms that would be clean from the Bed Bugs - the Hostel manager complained and rejected a refund. As six Ladies, we managed to stand up against him and got our refund! He even shut the door in front of our faces and locked himself away from us. (What a man!!!) Don't go there, even if you don't have much money for a stay!!! We had a lot of bug bites and are still getting rid of them!

This deserves 0 stars. Seems like a homeless shelter other than an hostel, a denounce should be made. DO NOT COME! I couldn't sleep, and there were many bedbugs.

The manager was rude he would walk in to womens dorm without knocking or calling out. The manager had arranged for 15 to 20 homeless men and women to live at the backpackers, this created a veranda strange energy as though they resented the backpacker. It was evident that some people suffer from mental health and drug and alcohol abuse. The manager allowed for some people to drink alcohol when it was clearly sign no alcohol Many people came and went after only one night as several of the rooms had bed bugs. The bathroom were in adaquate two toilets and two showers for 15 women. Kitchen facilities were in adequate one sink one bench space one fridge one microwave for a least 40 people. No cooking equipment only two rice g CT coolers no plates or cuttlery

Bed bugs everywhere To avoid

The place is full of bed bugs. Killed 30 bugs in my bed in one night. Got over 50 bites. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!! Absolute nightmare.

Bettwanzen, dreckig, gruselig. Schlimme Zustände!!

To say that this place is disgusting is the understatement of the century. Dirty kitchen, dirty rooms, I found bugs in the bed. Unsanitary conditions all over the place. No ventilation, bad smell. It's hot bed for contagious diseases. I cannot believe the Stockholm authorities do not shut it down. You'll be better off spending the night sleeping on a park bench.

In Zukunft macht es Sinn, Bewertungen IMMER zu lesen. Ich suchte nur etwas für die letzten 2Tage in Schweden/Stockholm. Rezeption war besetzt, staff freundlich, Bettwäsche mit Aufpreis sauber und frisch. Duschen sauber und es war auch gerade eine Putzfrau überall am Wischen. Einzelzimmer, alles sauber....dachte ich. Nach einer Stunde auf dem Bett kamen die Bettwanzen auch schon an. Ich habe das nächstbeste/preiswerte Hotel in der Nähe kontaktiert und habe vor Mitternacht aus dem City Lodge ausgecheckt. Morgens bin ich da wieder hin und wollte mein Geld zurück. Der Chef war nicht da, sein Vertreter nahm das mit den Wanzen so hin. Thema ist also bekannt. Sollte 12Uhr wieder kommen, weil dann der Chef da ist. Also 12Uhr wieder hin, Chef war da und reagierte ebenso gelassen auf die Wanzen-Begründung (O-Ton von ihm: ich habe nichts gesehen). Als ich ihm meine Fotos von den Wanzen zeigen wollte, winkte er ab. Als ich um Rückzahlung bat, wollte er mir nur eine Nacht erstatten. Ich hatte aber zwei bezahlt. Nach einigem Hin-und Her gab er auf. Für die Rückzahlung musste er allerdings den "obersten" Chef anrufen, da dieser dann einen Code von booking.com bekommt, mit dem er die Rückzahlung veranlassen kann. Das bedeutete, ich musste darauf warten und sollte später wieder kommen. Wieder weg-wieder hin. Wie gut, dass ich nichts vor hatte, oder gar im Abreisemodus war! Zurück bei ihm ging dann alles sehr schnell und Rückerstattung ist auch auf meinem Konto gelandet. Das Hostel (ich bin bestimmt nicht pingelig und bei 2 Resttagen Urlaub eh nicht) dürfte meiner Meinung nach von booking.com nicht mehr geführt werden! Zudem müsste dort mal ein Hygiene-Amt rein! Ich rate vom Übernachten dort unbedingt ab! Finger weg!

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon checking in, I discovered that the beds were infested with bedbugs, making it impossible to stay. I immediately left and found another hotel. Thankfully, the staff was very friendly and understanding, offering a full refund with no issues. The bathroom looked recently renovated, but the beds were outdated and in poor condition. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until they resolve the bedbug problem and update the rooms.
