Très déçue. Propreté insuffisante : lit éventré, murs sales, espaces autour des lits non nettoyés. Parties communes sales la plupart du temps. Seulement 2 petits lavabos pour l’étage. Pas d’eau chaude. Clim contrôlée par la réception (froid 2 nuits, trop chaud la 3e). 10 reais pour une couverture alors qu’ils sont responsables de la fraîcheur de la pièce (!). unfortunately was charged £60 a night for 4 nights for a dorm bed and when i asked for the aircon to be turned on they refused even though the room was like a sauna and unbearable to be in and after that when u extended an extra night i was charged way higher then the price being shown on hostel world

Eu fiz a reserva para um quarto compartilhado feminino. Eles erraram minha reserva e queriam me colocar em um quarto misto. Eu não quis ficar. Porém já havia pagado o valor total da reserva. Estão me enrolando a dias p me reembolsar por um erro que eles cometeram. Não me respondem mais no WhatsApp e eu perdi o dinheiro pois não fiquei sequer um dia hospedada, novamente, por erro deles

À Fuir Absolument ! Réservation chambre féminine non respectée, nous avons atterri dans un dortoir mixte avec des hommes d'une cinquantaine d'années la deuxième nuit. Le volontaire nous a fait payer deux fois via un QR code, promettant un remboursement jamais effectué. Malgré nos relances pendant deux mois (WhatsApp, mails), aucune réponse. Les parties communes, hormis la cuisine, étaient sales. Expérience désastreuse, ce sont des escrocs !

Never go here. I booked in advance and they cancelled my stay one month before I was to arrive (345R/52€) and never paid me back, I’ve called and texted them tons of times for 3 months now, no response, just that ‘they will check’ and then never response again. Shame. Terrible service and they literally just scammed me and stole my money. Never book here.

I booked this hostel, Right upon arrival uninterested staff and unfriendly atmosphere. They claim my deposit was not accepted yet i lost my deposit. Only way was to go around hostel world and pay plenty extra. I do not know whose system is wrong or if this is a complete scamm. Do not go

Staff were ok. Nothing more nothing less. However, the fact that you need to pay extra money for a blanket is ridiculous. Rooms are wayyyy too crowded and tiny for the amount of people in the room. Bathrooms and showers are clean, but offer little privacy and comfort since the stalls are also tiny. Overall, not recommended

The location was good, pretty close to everything. The facilities were also pretty new, especially the room that gave you a lot of privacy. The toilets were modern, but sadly they were rarely cleaned and were filled with shit not only inside but also on top of the toilet seat. The hostel's occupancy was low, which led me to suspect that the staff's behaviour may be to blame. The staff were also not helpful, not showing me around the hostel and making me spend 10 minutes three mornings in a row o...

Kind staff and clean hostel but I was freezing at night. They put the air conditioner on 20 degrees (they changed to 24 after asked), give you a sheet as a "blanket" and if you ask for a normal blanket you have to pay a fee.

Hotel très vivant avec beaucoup d'accent sur les événements. Belle ambiance de groupe, peut-être un peu moins indiqué pour ceux qui préfère un endroit calme tôt dans la soirée. Chambres bien, vec de grand casiers, seul bémol le lit de l'étage supérieur de ma chambre n'avait pas de Rideau ni de rambarde, et la climatisation était directement sur moi. Outre cela, magnifique endroit, sécuritaire et très vibrant. Merci pour l'hébergement !

The staff are really nice, nice people. However the place is dirty. Regardless I would recommend to stay if you want to meet people

tienen buena ubicación la gente es muy amable y muy seguro tienen en cada habitación contraseña pero lleva candado porque allá no dan solo los venden a 25 reales, la limpieza si la hacen pero dejan a veces llenar mucho la papelera de los baños. está cerca de muchas tiendas mucho comercio, pero no hacen integraciones o tours nada

Honestly one of the best if not the best hostel I stayed while traveling South America! I think Botafogo is the perfect place to stay while in rio you can easily access all main attractions but also come back to a chill and (from my experience) safe neighborhood The hostel stuff were truly incredible The atmosphere was always so good and social but not a party hostel for me it was the best mix Of If I ever come back to rio I’m definitely coming back to Aurora

Lugar maravilhoso, a localização é muito boa, próximo a mercado, farmácias e ao metrô, bairro bem seguro e tranquilo.
