- There was a leak in their roof and all my belongings were soaked, and my AirPods were broken from water damage. They issued no support through a refund or help to fix the issue.
This hostel had bedbugs
Found a bed bug in my bed. They offered another room but I really wanted to leave since bedbugs are in the building. They did not offer the money back for the night so I lost the money + needed to put all my belonings including big backpack for a week in a freezer in Rio to get rid of the bedbugs
Hostel booking conditions change
I don’t recommend this hostel. One member of the staff had a really bad attitude and due to miscommunication among the staff, they broke into my locker and ruined my padlock and thereby gaining access to all my belongings, without even telling me. When I confronted the staff about it, he had a really bad attitude and didn’t seem to care that they destroyed my property and put my belongings at risk. - Il n’y avait vraiment aucune ambiance dans cette auberge, personne ne se parlait. De plus, il n’y a pas d’endroit convivial oú les gens peuvent se réunir et discuter puis le personnel n’a pas toujours été très aimable. Pour finir il y avait des punaises de lit. Je me suis donc retrouvée avec une quarantaine de piqûres sur le dos, les bras et les jambes…. Et tout ça pour la modique somme de 17 euros ! L’une des pires auberges de mon séjour. A éviter !

- Hace 3 años fui a este Hostel pero tenía otro edificio que era lindo! Este no es cómodo, con muchas escaleras, corredores angostos, y los baños compartidos no estaban del todo limpios.

I checked out early and asked for a partial refund (should’ve been a full refund…) the showers were disgusting, the rooms were so cramped you couldn’t move around with more than one person, and for two nights there was no running water. They tried to blame it on the area, that the whole neighbourhood was experiencing the same thing, which I believed the first night, then went down the street to another hostel which had no plumbing issues. Worst hostel experience ever during my world trip.
