Le House Hostel

Bitte kommt hier nicht hin! Alles stinkt nach Urin, nur komische Leute, übertrieben dreckige Zimmer/Bäder und das Personal ist unfreundlich. Meine Freundin und ich haben uns ständig unwohl gefühlt. Schlimmstes Hostel bei dem wir je waren. (Ist meine erste und einzige wirklich schlechte Bewertung)

The hostel is located in a favela. Feels very unsafe coming in and out and taxis/ubers don’t drop you there, you have to hike 5 minutes uphill to it. The owner is quite rude and doesn’t know how to run a business. He cussed me and multiple others out for not properly closing the hostel door, like what. He also calls on you as if you are a pet making weird sounds to get your attention. The hostel itself is unclean and needs a lot of work. Would never stay here again !!!

De kamers zijn in zeer slechte staat: de matrassen zijn extreem vies, met donkere vlekken, en het lijkt erop dat ze niet goed zijn schoongemaakt. De geur is onaangenaam en de plek moet worden gedesinfecteerd, omdat het een gezondheidsrisico vormt. De hostel zit in een favela taxi’s of uber motoren durven er niet te komen voor hun veiligheid. Je moet de klim zelf maken of je neemt een moter taxi van de favela maar dat is ook niet aan te raden. Er zijn veel meer betere veiligere en schonere plek...

Sehr dreckig, keine Handseife auf Toiletten vorhanden. Oft auch kein Klopapier, überall schmutzig besonders in den Bädern. Kaum Gemeinschaftsräume. Klimaanlage kaputt in meinem Zimmer, sodass ich die Fenster aufmachen musste und dadurch eine Menge Moskitos reinkamen. Schloss zum Bad kaputt gewesen.

Dortoir de 9 lits dans 9m2 (lits triples) sans air conditionné ou ventilateur, personnel s’octroyant votre nourriture malgré l’étiquetage demandé (deux fois de suite) ! Expérience à ne jamais renouveler !

Habiendo tantas opciones de hostal, no escojas este. El staff es amable, pero fuera de eso, está en muy malas condiciones, la ubicación es buena, pero al estar dentro de una comunidad, los Uber te cancelan siempre.

Room and sheets were dirty, staff weren't very helpful, not much atmosphere, cost a lot for very little

'Prison would be better - at least it's free' - a fellow guest. Check-in was being given a sack of bedding each to make our own beds (triple bunks with no railing) and pointing to the CCTV images ("kitchen, bedroom, rooftop") rather than even a basic tour. No atmosphere at all despite the hostel being full. Zero soap in any bathroom and the shower was both cold and electrocuted all of us quite severely - even the tap electrocuted you... Mouldy mattresses and vomit stain by my bed. Actual hell.

The place was pretty bad conditioned. Ammenities such as kitchen was really old. I couldn’t meet much people there. There was literally nobody eating or cooking. Also the street of the place make you feel pretty unsafe. Uber couldn’t go up to the hill were the hostel was located god knows why. Perhaps it was due to Carnival. Didn’t like the vibes at all. The old lady was pretty annoying and she asked for 5% comission if you pay by card. It was extremely expensive for the quality of the ho...

the rooms were just disgusting. the only thing that the hostel is too close to the beach.

O hostel fica numa ladeira bem íngreme, o que pode dificultar quem está com bagagem pesada, mas nada impossível! Tem vários hostels um do lado do outro, então há uma boa circulação de turistas na região (e os apps de relacionamento ficam recheados haha). O hostel em si é bem simples, mas atente ao que se propõe.

Primero el espacio entre las camas es de medio metro. Si te levantas de la cama rápido te puedes quitar la cabeza. Había gente que trabaja ahí que era buena gente. Pero otros parecía que preferirían que busques otro lugar. Te preguntaban dos veces si leíste las reglas después que pagaste. Para que sepas que ellos no se responsabilizan si pierdes algo. No podías dejar la llave del cuarto en recepción y te cobran si te la roban obvio..

Very friendly atmosphere - great location! Short walk to the beach!! Ac wasn't very good and bathrooms could use some work. But had good common areas. Super expensive during carnivale.

This is an authentic backpacker’s hostel, so don’t expect trendy events or facilities. The highlight of this place is the friendly and hard-working staff always lending a hand or maintaining the place. Location is a few blocks away from Leme beach, which is next to copacabana. Would like to see more soap or sanitizer dispensers.

Very overpriced but it was the carnival season so i can’t really blamed them… the location is over the top tho very next to the beach and even if its the beginning of a favela and there’s a lot of taxi moto around i felt very safe.

Nice place, I received an upgrade to a female-only room and made great friends with two Brazilian women.

Das ist mein dritter Aufenthalt in diesem Hostel und ich komme zum Karneval wieder!

Minha segunda vez no hostel e apesar do bairro estar com uns problemas de eletricidade esses dias , minha estadia como sempre foi bem tranquila e em paz, é oque sempre busco em viagens.

muy costoso durante el carnavla, 100 dolares la noche en un habitación, podrian ser mas limpios y darle mantenimiento al lugar

Hostel war alles in allem ok aber viel zu Teuer. Habe um die 90€ die Nacht bezahlt. Es gab keinen Wasserfilter, Die Duschen haben Tagsüber regelmäßig nicht funktioniert, das W-Lan hat nicht bis in mein Stockwerk gereicht und die angestellten waren teilweise unfreundlich. Besonders viel Los war im Hostel selbst auch nicht. Dafür das es sich eigentlich nur zum Schlafen geeignet hat auf jedenfall zu teuer.

Experiência positiva no geral, area de boa, bem localizada e policiada.
