Chez Zany - Copacabana

+ Ubicación

- Arriba de mi cama estaba el aire acondicionado que prendian desde las 9 pm hasta las 9 am. Es una máquina vieja que suena muy fuerte. La 1ra noche fue horrible. La 2da noche peor porque hacía ruido y los otros huespedes que estaban en mi misma habitación fueron a molestarme mientras yo dormía. La ultima noche no la pasé en el hostel, fui directo a otro hotel. Nadie me hizo el check in ni el check out. Todo se maneja por un grupo de Whatsapp y el personal parece que está bastante cansado y eso repercute en la atención. Además la ventilación de la habitación donde quedé era pésima, el aire acondicionado no ayuda con los olores. De las peores experiencias en hostales.

- We initially booked 6 nights at Chez Zany Copacabana but had to leave on our second night due to a serious hygiene issue; the room was infested with cockroaches. They were crawling on our luggage, the bed, and the walls. We felt completely unsafe and had to leave the property at 2 a.m. to find a hotel that would accept us at that hour. It was a terrible and stressful situation.

- the room itself is horrible!!! no windows!!! never smelted something more bad than this room😵‍💫😵‍💫 there is one window but it is blocked and the ac can be turned on only from 21 pm to 09 am the room is just like a basement! gross

+ La ubicación

- La habitación tenia mucho olor a humedad.

+ Jolie bâtiment, bien placement avec un petit chat accueil.

- L'humidité et l'odeur de moisissure pour s'endormir c'est pas top.

+ Es un lindo lugar,buena ubicación y siempre estaba limpio.

- La recepción no es buena,el wifi me lo pasó otro huésped,no te indican los lugares para visitar,hay personas que ni les avisaron que podían tomar café. Micama estaba rota,la puerta también y hacía bastante ruido. Los baños son pocos para tantas personas.

+ La voluntaria fue muy atenta y me ayudo bastante.

- Inicialmente mi reserva era por 2 noches pero mi vuelo de llegada fue cancelado por la aerolinea y me lo cambiaron para siguiente dia. Al igual que el hotel tenia toures ya reservados al ser una situacion fuera de mi volunta solicite el reembolso de la primera noche lo cual no fue aceptada. Adicional reserve una habitación de 6 camas solo mujeres y me dieron una habitación de 7 camas mixta hombres y mujeres.

+ Dos hóspedes do hostel no período em que fiquei hospedado.

- Não fomos recebidos de forma adequada, horário de chek-in e ckecault informados errados, o atendimento deixou a desejar.

+ The location was amazing, the kitchen had everything you need, and the price-value was good.

- The room was small, dark, no natural ventilation due to the type of window with very little possibilities to hang and store your things. The bed felt not nice to sleep in due to the fabric of the sheets. The staff asked once whether we needed everything, the overall vibe was rather not very warm hearted for us during our stay.

+ Beautiful hostel!! Absolutely loved it. The lady at the hostel was very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect - 5min walk to the beach front. The house cat was a plus (so cute and friendly!!) and showers facilities ect were all very clean

+ Location is great. The room is big enough and the shared bathrooms are clean.

- The AC in the room is too noisy and the mattress not very confortable for me.

+ Es un excelente lugar, está bien ubicado, es limpio, cómodo y silencioso. Tiene cafecito y té gratis y el día sábado tienen un detallazo que es un desayuno para los huéspedes. Tiene una gatita hermosa que ronronea y juega. Las chicas que atienden son muy amables. La cocina tiene de todo por si quieres preparar y comer ahí.

- Lo que considere más complicado fue regular el agua de la ducha (una vez que preguntas te explican y solucionado),

+ Me encantó, me sentí súper cómoda, los espacios están muy bien cuidados y el personal muy atento a que nunca falte nada. Sin duda, volvería, está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la playa y de restaurantes

+ This is a really lovely hostel to stay in. It has a cosy, homey feel and the cat Oliva is the cherry on top! The girls who work there are lovely and very welcoming, shout out to Fla who was great - always responsive on WhatsApp and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The aircon in the rooms was great to have and there was lots of space for our stuff too including a balcony with a desk.

- The only thing was the temperature of the showers but maybe this is adjustable, we just didn’t know how. Everything else was fantastic!

+ Loved this place! I stayed during carnival and had an amazing experience! They really made sure that we would enjoy our stay!

+ Fijne locatie en goede voorzieningen.

- Geen personeel aanwezig en daardoor ook geen bewaking voor baggage wat je daar even tijdelijk opslaat. Verder was er in de kamer geen raam wat je open kon doen voor ventilatie.

+ My friend and I stayed in a private room and it was perfect for our short stay. The hostel is located in a very nice area of Copacabana and it’s beautifully decorated. It lacks a bit of social vibe, though we met very nice people during the free breakfast that is served on Saturdays. They also have a lovely cat :)

- Overall I really liked this hostel. The only thing I kind of struggled with is the shower system. I couldn’t figure out how to regulate the water temperature.

+ Die Lage ist top. Man ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten am Strand. Oder in ca. unter 10Minuten an der Metro Station. Die Bäder wurden mehrmals am Tag gereinigt. Auch sehr hervorzuheben waren die Volunteers zu meinem Reisezeitpunkt. Eli, Cainã, Luciene und Lais sind sehr herzliche und sympathische Menschen. Alles in allem, war das ein unvergesslicher Karneval in einem sehr komfortablen Hostel

- Der Preis war etwas hoch. Dennoch lohnenswert

+ It was very nice to have my own private space in such a lively and well-attended hostel. Everyone, from the volunteer staff to the fellow guests, was super friendly and I had a great time getting to know them. It was the quintessential hostel experience and a great way to spend carnaval.

+ Muy buena ubicación, las instalaciones tenían todo lo necesario para estar cómodas, tranquilidad y detalles que hicieron nuestra estadía en el Chez Zany una maravilla! Nos hospedamos con una amiga en la habitación privada de dos camas y fue genial!

- La cocina podría ser más grande...en horas pico de comida, nos chocábamos un poco

+ Amazing location, staff is super nice and the overall vibe of the hostel is very warm. There is a cleaner which is so nice. Great value for money especially during carnival where prices double.
