Ipanema Club Hostel

location good, staff friendly. However rooms very dirty and smelt bad. bathroom not very clean had some water leaks from the rain so was soaking wet all the time. Also met 0 other backpackers there it was all brazillians. Everyone there was friendly but overall i would say stay somwhere else due to the rooms and bathrooms

This hostel was pretty outdated and dirty. The couches in the common area had no cushioning and neither did the bed. However the worst aspect of this hostel was the bathroom, in my dorm the bathroom had mold everywhere and the hallway bathroom didn't have a shower door so the ground was completely flooded. Overall not a terrible hostel, but there are much better in the area for a similar price.

Good: Vibe when you enter is lovely, hostel staff are very friendly, breakfast is a nice bonus, laundry service is great! Bad: 1 Shower between 8 dorms/rooms isn’t ideal. The floors in the dorms are always dirty. The Bunkbeds are so tall that to climb to the top bunk feels like you should be wearing a safety harness. But it makes a good amount of head room for the bottom bunk! Lastly, the kitchen has a severe lack of utensils. Definitely not good if you like to cook to save money!

No geral um bom lugar, conheci pessoas incríveis la, é bem localizado, mas a estrutura é bem simples, a limpeza também poderia melhorar um pouco.

Staff were brilliant, mostly spoke English too! Had an episode of paint getting onto shorts as no wet paint sign but not the end of the world. Air con was on overnight and was super cold but a blanket sorted that. Super hot during the day time until the rain came and then wasn’t so bad! Facilities okay, used the kitchen a couple of times to make pasta and warm some bread in the oven. Staff kindly did laundry for us, but think it was more expensive had we gone to a laundrette but so convenient!

I like this hostel, the rooms are spacious, location is amazing and the breakfast is cozy and great to meet people.

Roupa de cama, principalmente lençóis, bem precários, porém limpos. Banheiro limpo mas chuveiro/box com muita areia e aspecto de sujo. Quarto muito quente. Bom café da manhã. Ótima localização.

Great hostel! Such a lovely and welcoming staff, really good breakfast and comfy beds. Also in a great location, couldn’t recommend it more.
