La Casona Hostel

cuando llegamos nos cambiaron el precio de la reserva porque hicieron el cambio al dolar blue(?) y no al cambio que decia la aplicación; no nos dejaron pagar con tarjeta de crédito; la puerta de la habitación no cerraba; la ducha de nuestro baño estaba rota y siempre sucia. no estuvimos cómodas.

C'est proche de la plage et les parties communes sont sympas. Le problème est qu'il n'y a personne à la réception. Si vous avez besoin de quelque chose vous pouvez attendre très longtemps avant de trouver quelqu'un. Et quand vous le trouvez ça l'embête de faire son travail. Ils font leur propre taux de change (pas en notre faveur) et pas le ménage. On nous a attribué un lit qui était déjà à quelqu'un. Ils font la fête avec leurs potes et vous êtes de trop

Poor. We did not except much from this hostel but we were still disappointed. Not much respect from the people. Music super loud until late at night. Of course the breakfast is not ready on time as people were partying until 2AM. Not much consideration. And it was the staff, not even talking about the guest (which wasn’t any better btw). One of the worst hostel stay I’ve done. I would not recommend a stop here.

The location is absolutely stunning. But the house is not in a good shape. You can't close doors properly, it's overall a bit filthy and if you fancy a good night sleep this is not your place. Like at all. Music blasts until 2-3am (in each of my 3 nights). The volunteers are lovely and helpful.

Friendly staff. Festive atmosphere. Nice views. Generally quiet outside, except for traffic. Some evenings are quite loud past midnight

The location of the hostel is great. However, most doors for the rooms can’t be closed (because the frame is broken), it is very loud till after midnight because the staff (?) party a lot. My sheets were dirty and I saw that they don’t change the blankets for new guests when people check out. The staff was overall friendly but only speak Spanish, also I didn’t quite get the rule that you’re not allowed to shower from 8-10am. I didn’t feel very comfortable and was happy to check out aft...

The bunkbeds shake and creak, the one bathroom that works has a peephole and no lock, local staff was rude, overall wasn't clean, doorknobs don't work. All very below expectations.

Es caro para los servicios que ofrece, la limpieza del lugar deja mucho que desear, la bañera siempre con pelos , a la mañana temprano de mi check out había caca y pis de perro al lado del desayunador, la cocina es muy chica para la cantidad de gente que hay y todo el día con música desde el momento del desayuno hasta la cena. No lo recomiendo para nada !!

Me cobraron el precio a valor blue (mil) y no al oficial de ese día (380) por lo que me quedó MUCHISIMO más caro que lugares con mejor confort (comoporej. el anterior de Bariloche que fui). Si valía lo que tenía que valer, mi puntuación sería diferente. Excelente las 3 voluntarias y los demás huéspedes.

Expensive for what it was, breakfast was mediocre and they put another bed in our room clearly just to maximise capacity, rather than leaving a bit of space.

L’hostel est situé à l’extérieur du centre ville, tout proche de la plage et des départs de rando. Le bus passe devant l’établissement. Les volontaires sont adorable et le petit déjeuné copieux et excellent !

It's a short walk to the beach which is nice! However bear in mind that laundry facilities are 11 bus stops away (not stated in the information), and the nearest shop is 3 stops (25mins walk). Also the 6 bed dorm is actually a 9 bed dorm, with no lockers. These issues aren't terrible but I think it should be advertised so people are aware of what they are booking. The staff are kind and helpful and the kitchen and bathrooms are clean and looked after

Un lugar muy tranquilo y cálido, las chicas que trabajan ahí son muy buena onda, hacen ricos desayunos y en general el hostel tiene muy linda vibra. Está ubicado a unos pasos de la avenida por donde pasan todos los colectivos, y tiene una salida directa a la playa. Lo recomiendo mucho 👏🏼

Muy bueno en general. Hermosa vista desde el comedor para tomar unos mates 🧉❤️ mirando el lago. La ubicación es excelente, a metros de playa bonita. Y al centro se llega muy rápido. Por la puerta pasan los buses más importantes para hacer todos los puntos de interés.

Me sentí muy cómoda, como en casa, la casona es verdaderamente hermosa, muy espaciosa, con muchos sectores, combinando comodidad, arte y naturaleza. Si estás buscando un lugar amistoso, familiar, muy espacioso, con una fantástica vista y contacto con la naturaleza, una destacable atención, este es el lugar!!!

Llevo muchos años viajando por albergues, y lo que encontré en la casona es una perla rara: poder sentirse como en casa. Han conseguido hacer de este hostel un lugar donde querer volver, con un equipo de 10 y una localización perfecta. Me fui, pero estoy deseando volver

Staff is very friendly, there’s a beautiful beach right around the corner, and it’s not too crowded in the hostel. But there are some things missing. In our dorm there were only a few electrical outlets and no bed had a little shelf to put your smartphone for example. And the water boiler is soooo loud every time someone uses water. Especially when people are showering late it’s annoying if u wanna sleep

El recibimiento del personal te hace sentir muy bien. El lugar está muy limpio. Fuimos en octubre, no había mucha gente así que estaba muy tranquilo. No se como será en época con más gente. El desayuno muy rico.

Amazing hostel! Not only do they have very kind and helpful staff, a cute dog and a cute cat bit a really beautiful view on the lake from a big garden and a good kitchen. They also helped me out with my problems with the car - definitely 10/10

I wanted to love this hostel but the atmosphere was lacking, the hostel was extremely noisy at night and if events were being held the kitchen was closed, only allowing you to pay for food or nothing at all. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms fairly clean. The staff were ok, though I found it difficult to communicate. I ended up leaving early as I was moved out of my room at 10:30pm because they wanted to give it to someone else. The other dorm was crazy small with guests & staff.

muy buena estadia, la vista y bajada a la playita es lo mejor, recomendaría que la leche esté caliente a la hora de desayuno

The staff are incredible and the vibe is so welcome and friendly. Felt like I was staying at a friends house and we all just got to hang out for a bit. Bed wasn’t comfy and things are a bit dirty, but the location is best in bariloche!

The perfect location for a few days trip in Bariloche ! The location is awesome (20 mins away from the center in colectivos). Very clean, very neat and tidy. The kitchen is fully equipped. Very good mood, the living room is very warm and people can share a good moment there. The breakfast is really nice ! Not a million options but the options are qualitative and in quantities. We also enjoyed the paddle tour offered by the hostel at a promo price and it was magical !!

There are lots of pros and cons about this hostel: Pros: - staff are extremely nice & helpful! - the location is unbeatable, 2 minute walk to an amazing beach, close to hikes, bus to town takes about 15-20 minutes, grocery store close by. - the breakfast was basic but yummy, the staff makes the bread in house! - cheap for Bariloche The cons: - loud music until 1 am every night - pretty dirty, especially the bathrooms -the wifi hardly worked -dorm rooms were packed with no privac...

Bonne auberge. Sa localisation est a la fois un avantage et un inconvénient. Loin du centre se deplacer est plus difficile je l'ai fais en stop,mais l'auberge est plus proche des randos à faire. Les chambres sont un peu cheap mais on y dort très bien. L'ambiance est cool, proche de la plage plus un supplément tattoeur dans l'auberge. Je recommande.

View and Vibe: Hard to find a hostel with such a view to lake, mountains, just at the Playa Bonita. In the hammock with such a view: A dream! And the volunteer team makes a great atmo also... Was full after 4 nights, if not would have probably stayed a week or more there! Calculate with higher costs: Hw said 50000, then mailed me 48,76 $, what hostel converted to 60000: 'Dollar blue' - tricky! Dorms crampy, specially part of 6 bed room (7 beds in kind of double room), 5 bed room much better...
