- De kamer zelf was vies. Omdat je te maken hebt met feestende mensen .. de kamer was ongekotst. Er lag overal urine in de toiletten. De kraan van de badkamer was kapot. De bedden zijn hard, je ligt op een plank met een matras erop.

+ The staff was very friendly, and at times, helpful. And there are cute cats. That was the only plus.
- So on the first day I arrived, I found out there was no pool, which was the main reason why I booked that place. The private room was very stuffy, moldy and rundown, and no daylight. Dripping sound all day. The toilet flush didn't work properly and I didn't have warm water for four days. The water smelled like sewage. On the last day they offeted me to use the bathroom in one of the dorms. Unfortunately I booked that place for 4 nights (non refundable), and I wasn't able to cancel it. It is very loud until after midnight(ok it is a party hostel). The sheets were not changed or room made up once during my stay, even when I requested it. Food there was okay but overpriced. I definitely will not return, this place is an absolute ripoff. My concerns were not properly adressed during the stay i was there, and I complained starting the first night. I feel that the staff is attentive and tries to genuinly help, but the management is just not present and is just milking the tourists. I've never written a bad review and I am really not picky but the expectations were just not at all met.
- The picture and the actual is different. Theres no television and refrigerator. The room was dark and small for one person.
- I booked a boat trip with the happiness hostel and paid via card which was cancelled a few hours later ( stating weather but other boats managed to go out that day I later noticed) I was confirmed my paid would automatically be refunded to May card and now I am still chasing for my refund from the happiness group and they haven’t replied after claiming they spoke to the account and it was resolved.

Nos metieron en una habitación en el edificio de enfrente del hotel y era horrible, con ruido, que desde luego no valía lo que habíamos pagado. Pasamos una noche de las 4 que teníamos reservadas y nos dijeron que nos devolverían el 50% del importe y desde febrero sigo esperando. Tengo WhatsApp donde me lo decían. Mentirosos e impresentables.

- After 7 months of travelling, all I wanted was a couple of weeks to reset, recover, and feel grounded. I left this place exhausted and sick (the first time I’ve fallen ill on my entire trip). I originally booked from April 22–26, and upon check-in, I was charmed by the Instagrammable decor and decent-looking facilities. Rookie mistake, I booked another 9 nights totaling 13 nights. Had I read the reviews with even half a functioning brain cell, I would’ve run far away. The music at night? Absolutely relentless. The bass was so intense it actually shook my bed. Earplugs were useless. Even when the music eventually stopped (often past midnight), guests would just take over the outdoor benches and shout, laugh, and party like it was their job until sunrise. Some mornings, the music started again at 7AM. After three sleepless nights and an intense fever, I begged reception to let me leave early and refund the remaining nights. The male staff member at reception told me to leave my contact details in case someone took my bed, and only then I might get a refund. Mind you, the place was fully booked online. So basically “Leave, but we’re keeping your money unless someone else takes your spot.” As a solo traveler on a budget, I couldn’t afford to pay for another place on top of what I’d already lost. Food-wise, I initially thought I’d make this place my go-to for meals. That ended swiftly after I ordered a chicken salad (lukewarm lettuce and cucumber is not the vibe). When I politely raised the issue, the bar staff literally gathered the entire kitchen team to just stare at me. Not a word. Just a full-on awkward group glare. Only after I stood my ground did the kitchen manager awkwardly shuffle over and apologize. They offered me a replacement meal, but let’s just say eating under the judgmental gaze of ten people ruined my appetite. After that, I ate every meal outside. Can’t blame me, some of the staff had perfected the art of the deadpan stare.
- You may want to consider sending your staff to a hospitality training course. This place has some of the rudest waitresses I’ve ever encountered—greeting guests with lines like, “Do you need something?” or “Hello mister, what do you want?” Wtf lol The environment is equally disappointing: loud music, guests returning late and slamming doors, speaking loudly at 3 AM with no regard for others. Avoid this place if you’re looking for anything close to a relaxing or respectful stay—there’s nothing “happy” about it 😆
+ The ambiance and the exterior design of the hotel is pleasing and nice.
- The Staff - Guest entertainer is insisting us to drink alcoholic beverage, very dangerous, uncomfortable, unprofessional.
+ The frontline staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, offering great value for money. Great food! Loved the vibe of Café and pool area!
- However, one negative experience can leave a lasting impression. It appears that the management team may benefit from receiving training on how to be warm, approachable, and inclusive towards individuals of different races. Thank you!

Great hostel. Loved the pool, cafe and the beds! So comfortable and ideal having your own shelves. I had a great stay and would return. The only things I would say were ‘let downs’ were that it was pretty quiet, so a lot of activities were cancelled, and the AC was broken in our room so the floor was flooded.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher am Abend war immer ein Security am Eingang. Essen war auch sehr gut.
The staff was very friendly. we felt very safe in the evening. there was always a security at the entrance. food was also very good.

+ A stunning hostel in a very convenient location in Boracay. All staff were very warm and welcoming, facilities were good and it has events every night - just depends on the guests as to how good the event ends up being.
- Nothing, but a tip if you want to keep more people at events is to have someone introducing guests to each other and telling them the event will be good!

+ I like how they have events every day. I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it on my first day of my stay, but from the second day onwards, I really felt comfortable and relaxed. I also love that you still get privacy and that all my roommates are quiet. Additionally, please consider adding a fan to the other beds.
- None so far, but it would be great to add more areas for hanging wet clothes. Also, please consider adding more detailed photos or information on your pages or Instagram—especially of the rooms—since many people like to check these on social media first. Before I arrived in this app, I looked through your page and didn’t see much.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Nics who was lovely, sorted my transfer to airport last minute and always kept us aware of the events and trips. Also to Jake who was an excellent host of the nightly social events and really brought life to the party. One complaint I feel that the property is beautiful but could be even better with a bit of refurbishment and paint job as a bit grotty in some parts.
+ The hostel itself was lovely and could sit out by the pool and read. Nics, at the travel desk was amazing. She helped me to book my transfer from the airport straight to the hostel and communicated with me throughout, which was very helpful and transport was very quick. She was great! Super social hostel too.
- My bed area could have been cleaner. There was a few bugs and the shower area was a bit smelly. Nothing too offensive but not great.
Privacy is a big concern in this place. They would just open the door of your bed to check on you. Apparently knocking is not a thing. When i raised the concern with the manager the manager told me i gave up my privacy when i decided to live in a shared dorm. So yeah if you are okay with having 0 privacy please go ahead and book this place. Be prepared if people open your restroom door while you shower or your bed curtain while you asleep.
