Los Almendros Mancora

it is very basic. everything seams to be old. the surroundings feels like its the place of the stuff of a hotel next door. the kitchen was a bit messy and bottles were standing around the property. The owner is very nice and welcoming and that made the stay a bit better. the rooms was clean so far but everything was old. unfortunately i have to say that i got a better room for the same price. it is ok for a couple nights but i would stay longer there.

Great family run modest accommodation. Julio showed great communication on Whatsapp before my arrival with a location pin, what to expect to pay the taxi, and even stayed up late to greet me as the bus from Cuenca, Ecuador arrived well after midnight in Peru. Came to Mancora to surf and kite and the kiteschool is literally across the street attached to The Point Hostel, which is a well known location for taxis and also available to use their facilities like money exchange, bar and restaurant, ...

Simple and very chilled place perfect if you want to relax. Right by the beach and walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Julio who runs the place is super nice.

Tuve una estancia fantástica aquí. Hermosa habitación con gran luz, justo enfrente de la playa y cerca de muchos restaurantes y tiendas. Julio fue muy servicial, amable y generoso, hizo que el tiempo aquí fuera aún mejor. Muy recomendable

Tranquilo! I loved my stay at Los Almendros. I'd like to say a special thanks to Julio for being such a kind and hospitable host. The room was clean and comfortable, Julio even gave me mosquito repellant coils each night to tame any sneaky mosquitos (very few), and also cooked me an authentic traditional dinner one evening. The location is great, with the beach less than a one minute walk and downtown less than 10 minutes walk. Gracias por todo Julio!

Family run hostel perfect for those who want a beachside cabana on a budget. Julio offered to make dinner once and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in Peru.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Its a calm and quite place, unlike most of the party hostel with loud music every day until 3am. Julio was a great host!

Los Almendros Mancora offers good value for money. Julio, the host, is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The bungalows are cozy, and the hammocks provide a perfect spot to relax during the hottest part of the day. The location is convenient, close to both the beach and town center. Highly recommend for budget travelers seeking comfort and a friendly atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my stay at Los Almendros, the room was very spacious and beautiful, and the location right in front of the beach was amazing. Julio is also super nice and definitely helped to make the experience more memorable. Would highly recommend staying here :)
