Hanoi Train Station Hostel by LushStay

The owner was sometimes hard to get in touch with, but was helpful when they finally replied. When me and my friend arrived, there was only one bed left. You get what you pay for... the whole hostel and especially the bathroom was very dirty. The kitchen was practically part of the room, so everything smelled of food. At the same time the room was used as a workplace by the owner/an employee who made several phone calls in the short time I spent there. The bed was very hard and narrow. I was so glad that I had only booked one night. Save yourself a stay there and spend a bit more money on a better hostel instead!

Odd check in process, couldn't find instructions but lucky the door was open and I found another person who was staying there. They also had issues checking in. I called what's app number and sent photo of passport to check in. nice and close to train station, I checked in for a shower before overnight train. would do for overnight stay but unsure about longer stay.

As a solo femail traveller i felt very safe here, the host Dorry was so welcoming

Will be happy if I get the chance to stay again, felt like being part of a small family, really great staff

Room was super nice and cozy, but there were no facilities apart from the room, not even sure if there is a reception so it’s really hard to get hold of staff. Also they overbooked so I had to stay on the sofa but they gave me a refund so it’s okay
