De Chicktoria Hostel and lounge

Loved our stay here, beautiful location with lots of farm animals to interact with which we loved. Rooms are basic but comfortable, the owners are lovely and accommodating and the hostel food was great ! Only down side was their friend offered to drive us to his favourite sunset spot and the next day then asked us to pay almost £10 for the 10 minute drive which left us with a sour taste in our mouths. Maybe this was our fault for not checking so just be weary .

if you’re looking for a quiet stay near the harbour, it definitely is a good idea to stay at this hostel. environment & view is so beautiful. There’s nothing to do around except wandering around with your scooter (you can rent one there) & see waterfalls. Rooms were very simple, clean.

such a lovely two nights! beautiful relaxing property with great food &hosts. they’ll help you to plan and book whatever you need and make you feel totally at home. definitely a quiet home stay vibe but guests gathered in the evening to eat and socialize. exactly what i needed to recharge after a few months of travel. it’s close to the gili ferry and i was able to book rinjani trekking through them last minute for a fair price

Lovely hosts and wonderful food to order. Beautiful place. The bathrooms are outside and detached from the living accommodations. They look a little dirty but seem to just be weathered. No AC but fans for each bed which help a lot. I love the netting around the beds, as it made me feel like a princess 👸🏼 the view from the rooms is incredible. What an amazing place to be! It’s so quiet and peaceful and great if you’d like to get away and have time to yourself. The hosts were absolutely amazing and special honourable mentions to Heri and Agus for organising/ recommending activities and transfers to places. I would highly recommend coming here and I would love to visit again!!

I had such a lovely time at my stay here. Such lovely grounds with kittens, chickens and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. We arrived with not much of a plan but Heri helped us plan to go to the waterfalls, which his friend Ipan took us to. We had such a lovely day. I wasn’t feeling very well so they helped look after me by making fresh moringa soup from the garden, and lemon and ginger tea also from the garden. A big thank you to Heri and his wife, Ipan, Agus!

Really nice little local hostel! Super friendly staff. Harry told us a lot about the local life and culture. He grows his own fruits and veggies in the garden to cook for you. Easy to get there from the port by car or scooter. 100% recommend!

The chicktoria Hostel is such a lovely place! Harry the owner is a heartwarming person, he helped us with every question we had and was very handsome and friendly. They also had Babykittens whitch they cared about so much. Agus did the best Curry in this world, so the food was also very good. We would definitely come back, thank you for the lovely stay!!

Very nice tucked away hostel with a amazing chill vibe. It’s maybe a bit harder to get to but well worth a visit and stay. We rented a scooter and it was the best one of out whole trip. The staff is incredibly friendly as well.

Need a place to after gilis or rinjani?? This place is the best! Away from all the noise but still close to bangsal! I ended up staying much longer than anticipated because of the comfortability of this family-owned hostel. The owner Harry, the chef and the other family members make you feel very welcome. The place has its own social area and restaurant where you can hang out but also hammocks if you just want to rest! You won't regret it!

The loveliest staff that makes GREAT food for very cheap using things from their own garden. Super cute rooms and genius location as it is near the port.

I absolutely adored my stay at De Chicktoria Hostel. The owner Heri, Agus and the whole crew are just the most welcoming and the kindest people you'll meet, I wish them all the best! I met so many in great and interesting people while staying at the hostel, the food is heavenly and the atmosphere of the hostel is so cozy and lovely. The location was perfect for me as well.

Homestay meets hostel! The place is run by family and friends, and they're all wonderfull! Truth be told the description is not entirely up to date, but the current reality is actually better! one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. the location is beautiful and the locals are super nice and helpful. if you want to have long, interesting conversations with locals, you've definitely come to the right place. everyone speaks very good English and tries to help you and provide you with delicious food for a good price. i definitely recommend this hostel to everyone!!

I absolutely love this place, the owner Heri is the loveliest man and all the other staff are absolutely incredible too. Good location near banggsal harbour and scooter hire at the hostel, so easy transport to north and central lombok. All the people that pass through here are so interesting and I've met people from many different countries, mainly solo travellers. Tours are available and private transport for the day is also available. Thank you!!!

This was such a fun hostel to stay in! It is located up near the jungle, so not your typical hostel, but it was a really great experience. The staff are lovely, and super helpful in accommodating needs. Would recommend!
