Holy Rock hostel at Meteora

+ The location

- The smell and the freedom with which one person occupied more than one bed

+ Tranquilo y bien situado.

- En una habitación de 8, un tipo con gripe o covid se nego a ventilar habitacion, el todo el día dentro y todo cerrado. Entiendo que estaba enfermo, pero las 7 personas restantes tuvimos que dormir con la peste dentro, y acaban enfermando por su egoísmo . Solo se le pedía que dejara la puerta con el pasillo abierta para que entrara un poco de oxigeno normal. Es lo que tienen estos sitios para bien, y para mal.

+ The shared meal cooked by volunteers was good value for money.

- The kitchen and bathroom hadn't had a deep clean in a while and were quite grotty.

+ No había desayuno. La ubicación buena, se llega fácilmente.

- Scarsissima disponibilità acqua calda , magari un po' di freschezza in più x muri e più opportunità di appendere qualcosa.....buona posizione

+ auberge confortable mais climatisation quasi inefficiente en plein mois d'aout. Dommage car la nuit en a été très affectée. Sinon le reste ok

+ Great location with parking outside. Good facilities, comfy beds with lots of space.

- No hot water in the bathrooms. Staff were vacant, couldn't find a staff member to check out in the morning or ask questions in the evening

- Hostel jest hostelem i taką pełnić ma funkcję. Ale brak w kuchni soli czy cukru jest dla mnie nie do przyjęcia. Nikt nie będzie kupował kilograma jeśli nocuje się dwa czy trzy dni

- funcionária bastante prepotente (Sue) e a despachar - não ajudou com dicas do que lhe perguntei porque tinha de ir para baixo conviver com os restantes guests - funcionários nao fixos/não sao da casa, apenas ajudam uns tempos em troca de dormida. Condições bastante precárias - a necessitar de uma clara manutenção à séria (janelas do quarto que não fecham - nao isola o som nem a temperatura exterior) e camas de cima sem cortina para privacidade. hostel muito simples e pobre no geral, que apenas compensa pelo preço e eventuais pessoas que venham a conhecer pelo caminho.

+ スタッフの方は親切です。タオルも1枚なら無料貸し出しで有り難かったです。

- 脱衣所とはカーテンでしか仕切られていない為、工夫しないと服が濡れる

+ Extremely friendly owner, very clean, big kitchen, atmosphere in general was super nice. Cosy and warm livingroom. Makes you feel at home!

+ Kostas is very helpful and friendly.

- Nothing as such.

+ Le prix, l'accueil chaleureux et personnalisé, les espaces communs, notamment la super cuisine... Le dortoir est spacieux et les lits confortables (grincent un peu par contre) NB. Il faut encourager ceux qui maintiennent ce niveau de service pour ce niveau de prix, ça devient rare en Grèce !!!

- Pour améliorer : - Le signe "exit" vert fluorescent dans la chambre peut gêner pour dormir - Les pommeaux de douche partent un peu en vrille (mais ça reste ok)

+ If you're a long-term traveler, you'll find your home away from home here for a few days. The owner is super friendly, and the place and atmosphere are great too. I only have one piece of advice: if you're passing through, stop here.

+ Friendly, helpful and efficient staff, Nikos and Kostas. If something needed replenishing or fixed, Nikos was on the ball with it! The room (4-bed female dormitory) was a little smaller than expected but it was functional, cosy and warm. I was lucky to have good roommates who were respectful and quiet in the night. The shared bathroom was generally clean but this, of course, depended on the guests. Room soundproofing between rooms was just okay but with ear plugs, I slept well. The hostel wasn’t fully occupied when I was there but when it came to cooking in the shared kitchen, it still got a bit crowded. Kitchen facilities were adequate and the welcoming lounge area was always warm. Location is great and the nearby restaurant, Yamas, a good place to have a meal. Bear in mind that restaurant prices are on the high side in Greece overall. You would be hard pressed to find a substantial, delicious dish for less than €9.00. I liked staying at this hostel and I recommend it to future travellers.

- The shower curtains could be washed regularly as they were dirty, especially at the bottom. The upper bunk beds need to have a curtain/board/cloth across the bedrails in order for the user to have some modicum of privacy, like the bottom beds (which had curtains all around the bed). The other upper bunk beds in the other dormitories had these rail cloths but not the upper bunk beds in my dormitory.

+ Very friendly and attentive host, cozy and great value. The host was so kind and he showed me a perfect itinerary to visit Meteora. Highly recommended!

+ Cada viajero experimentado verá que es un hostal buenísimo, difícil de superar en su totalidad!! Tiene todo lo que uno necesita… espacio común hermoso 👌 y una relación precio calidad imbatible….

+ Propre, cuisine bien équipée, bon emplacement, ambiance chaleureuse

- La douche un peu vétuste, mais ça fait l'affaire

+ ・宿の場所が分かりやすい。・洗濯場でストーブを焚いていて、洗い物が早く乾く。・自炊する用意があり、リンゴの皮むき。コップの拝借などちょっとしたことができる。・宿の人の対応が丁寧。ギリシャは交通の便が悪く、疲れ果てていたので助かりました。
