I found a bed bug.

Bueno me sentí bastante mal al sentir que me picaba todo el cuerpo, no pude dormir bien pero por suerte lo solucionaron a la brevedad posible

We stayed at their setup of 4 private rooms in the one space with shared kitchen and living room. Microwave, fridge and stove available but stove is not usable. No utensils or dishware available. Bed was comfortable enough. We prefer softer beds but it was somewhere in the middle with firmness. Air conditioner worked really well but we were freezing, so had to take out their extra winter blanket. Iron and ironing board available in our private room, which was nice. Even expensive luxury hotels don't provide that anymore. You can hear the train, but it wasn't that noisy in the room we were in. The noise disturbance was actually from other guests in the room. The other guests slammed their door super loud 5 or 6 times between 9pm to midnight as we were trying to sleep. The doors are designed to close slowly so as to not slam, so it seems like the loud door slams were done on purpose. Weirdos... Anyway, there were no bed bugs, no rats, no cockroaches like at other hotels in Chicago. So overall I would say it's okay for 1 or 2 nights.

Bed bug bites, homeless camped outside

When I got home after my stay on 3 October, I had bedbug bites in 3 places on my legs and arm.

The worst part was getting bed bugs. They were very strong that over a week later the swelling, redness, and bites were still visibly present on our bodies. Perhaps, we just had bad luck on the beds we were given. I have stayed here before, so I was shocked that that was an issue. The breakfast was very minimal, if you're looking for meat or something hearty. However, it is still quite good for a hostel breakfast.

Hostel muy bueno, bonito y con muchos equipamientos y servicios comunes. Lástima que esté tan sucio que hasta te pidan perdón constantemente por el polvo acumulado. Aunque el polvo no es el único problema de limpieza, en 6 días de estancia solo limpiaron los baños comunes masculinos una vez pese a que solo funcionaba una ducha y un váter estaba atascado y expulsaba agua. Hay chinches en las habitaciones. El aire acondicionado está muy fuerte y no lo puede controlar nadie más que mantenimiento así que no lo cambian nunca. Pedimos unas mantas para taparnos por la noche y nos dieron unas cosas muy raras de un tejido plástico medio rotas y pringosas que daba asco de tocar. Gran parte del grupo se ha resfriado por pasar las noches aquí. Los suelos tiemblan y no solo por el paso del metro el cuál es el menor de las molestias del hostel. El desayuno es escaso y repetitivo y además gran parte del mismo se guarda en la sala bajo llave de un día para otro sin no muchas medidas higiénicas y de conservación de alimentos aparente. El desayuno consiste en: baggels, croissants, magdalenas hiperazucaradas, tostadas, gachas, escasa variedad de cereales, manzanas pochas, dos tipos de queso además de queso de untar, mantequilla y mantequilla de cacahuete, huevos duros, leche, zumo de naranja de polvo, café aguado y un batido de vainilla/creamer de vainilla que es lo más malo que he probado jamás. Los domingos hay menos productos disponibles en el desayuno, como si eso fuese posible. Por lo demás es un lugar fantástico que merece las cinco estrellas y más, pero es que sus problemas son más importantes que sus virtudes, incluida la de su excelente ubicación y accesibilidad en transporte público incluso desde el aeropuerto.

Despite of we didnt find any one at the first check, we were glad to share our room with couples of bedbugs we discovered the second day between bedsheets and mattress after being bite all the night long. After they moved us to another room, I heard an employee telling that it wasn't the first room this week.
