Bad Joke!! Flecken/Löcher auf Bettwäsche & Handtüchern, Wände & Boden dreckig, unglaublich laut, Stromkabel knacken in der Wand, WLAN katastrophal, nur zwei Toiletten, Duschen sind interessant, bei ~ 50 € für‘s Doppelzimmer uncool

Booked a 3 bed stay (one bunk bed and one double bed), showed up a gave us a 2 bed room. I understand if you modify the room or whatever but at least change it on your listing so I don’t have to waste my time. Happened on two separate occasions, with two separate listings btw.

Despite Hostelworld saying ‘pay at hostel’, the hostel charged my card a week early without permission. The amount was incorrect and when I asked they said they used ‘their exchange rate’. This made it a few dollars more a night but they didn’t care saying it was their policy! The hostel was busy as it was Holy Week, but the bed I had was upstairs in a room with no lockers. At 4ft high I hit my head three times on the low ceiling - there was no protection. Security is lacking and kitch...

I didn’t end up staying here. They overcharged my card before I got there (payment on arrival was confirmed when booking) and they took more money than they were supposed to! When I disputed this I was ignored via what’s app and when I spoke to them in person they said it was another tax (tax was already charged on the booking). I would choose to stay somewhere else! Somos hostel is amazing and Tzunun hostel.

we paid for a room of 6 people but they overbooked in our 2nd night so they decided it'd be ok to move my bed with my bags under the stairs without requesting me permission so theg can add a 7th bed to the room. horrible management would not recommend it to anyone

A quiet hostel that’s very chill. The semi bad review was due to a serial offending food thief. I was absolutely fuming when I got half way up Acatenango, exhausted I went through my bag to find that the bandit had struck again and stolen my snickers. Previous offences were a number of eggs, bread and milk. I couldn’t care less for a few eggs and a bit of bread but just ask or say something.

I paid for a dorm and was put in a loft for the same price. The garden area is nice and was social when I stayed. But location isn’t great and didn’t find the staff helpful.

I tried to stay in a private room. You will hear every breath of your neighbours, or if you are inlucky every drop of pee of the shared toilet next door. Trying to adress this they will try their utmost to convince you you are imagining things. Even thlugh the receptionist was nice, it was hard to get my money for the secokd night back. It seems policy to drain you as much as possible with every trick in the book. The privates are heavily overpriced for the little value you get.

Pos: Pessoas dispostas ajudar e localização. Contras: Quarto cheio de mosquitos e moscas, cama muito ruim com molas do colchão completamente partidas, sem um lavatório para substituir têm um tanque em que a água saí pôr um plástico preto velho e sujo(?). Não existe área de socialização. O pequeno-almoço é muito simples, no meio de tantos contras ainda consegue ser aceitável.

I've never left a bad review on a hostel before but felt compelled after staying here. Dirty kitchen, all kitchen utensils covered in grease, cobwebs everywhere, black mold on the back wall behind my bed. Nice garden and location but no effort at all to create a pleasant environment. My card also got charged more than expected before I even arrived. When I asked about this I was told "tax" and then just ignored. Only hostel I've ever left early.

I’ve been around for a while, as much in Latin America as Europe. And I got to say this is probably one of the best I’ve been to so far. Staff is amazing always trying to help, all the facilities and the “chilling” area are kept spanking clean. The hostel as the best location of them all; on the beach and in the center of the Main Street. Totally recommend

I actually really enjoyed my stay here. Most rooms are a good standard, the common areas are well kept, and the showers are hot. For me the staff were the best part, always super helpful and smiley. Would happily return.

Better than the photos. Great location, we had a private room, it was perfect! High roof, big beds, window, private bathroom. Very spacious for a hostel, we were pleasantly surprised. Only complaint is that we found ourselves waiting at the front desk for a receptionist when we were in a semi-rush. So do better than us and plan to leave earlier to avoid this if you need to check out/need assistance with anything! Overall, good stay (:

I inky stayed here for one night after my Acatenango hike. It was okay, not crazy good or bad.

This hostel was quite good. The beds in the dorms were super comfy and private. There were options for breakfast that were fairly affordable and there was a big chill out area that was nice. Downsides were that the location was quite out of the way (tho great for the Cerra de la Cruz) and there could have been more toilets/showers. Overall quite good value for money.

Me encantó este hostal. El staff es amable, las camas son cómodas y las habitaciones son limpias. Por un costo extra ofrecen desayuno, que está muy bien servido. El ambiente es relajado y se puede socializar en las muchas áreas comunes que tiene el hostal. Nos regalaron una cerveza al llegar!

Heel fijn hostel met goede vibe. Ontbijt is lekker en de kamers zijn schoon. We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een privé kamer met eigen badkamer wat heel fijn was! Enige minpunt was de douche bij de vrouwen. Daar heeft dagenlang een paar plukken haren aan de muur gehangen. Smerig van de dames die het daar opplakken maar ook niet zo netjes van de schoonmaak ploeg.

This place was a great stay in Antigua. Staff was super helpful and it was a comfortable night stay.

The hostel was great and the staff were wonderful. The private room was good, but it can be loud depending on the location. The showers only had cold water 50% of the time. But the atmosphere was great.

Es el primer hostal donde me quedo y me encantó la experiencia aparte de que los baños estaban súper limpios que me parece muy importante el personal siempre está dispuesto a ayudarte siempre y las camas son muy cómodas además siempre tienen agua caliente

Unlike many other hostels in Guatemala, this one has a kitchen. Nice outdoor space, clean bedrooms. I've noticed most hostels in Guatemala are not very social, (people are tired from hikes, etc). Go out to bars or text in hostelworld to connect with people.

Ett av de bästa hostelsena vi bott på under vår resa i Centralamerika faktiskt! Det är bra pris och rummen är fräscha, man får sitt ” eget” lilla rum med lampa och ladduttag samt gardin! Köket är väldigt fräscht att laga mat i och det är en trevlig miljö runt om där man kan sitta och umgås, både bland växterna och vid soffor! Duscharna var bra, varmt vatten och ganska bra tryck!

Very homey hostel in Antigua. Nice and social without being too focused on partying. Was sometimes difficult to get staffs attention to be let in when coming back from town late at night.
