This property was not clear in their advertising. There is no hot water. The bunks do not have any curtains or privacy. There are no lock boxes in the rooms, only small boxes outside the rooms. The rooms are incredibly hot. Although food is included, you are expected to wash your own dishes, and the hostel is overall not clean. My two friends and I all got sick after staying here. The female volunteer (grey and black hair) followed me out of the hostel yelling at me and wouldn't leave me alone even when I asked her to, all because I didn't hear something she said. There was another male volunteer who was really rude when we checked in. There is no space for bags in the 8 bed room. They also refused to store our bags whilst we did acatenango.

Die Dorms haben kein Fenster nach außen. Unser Privatzimmer hatte 0 Fenster und aus der Lüftung kam schlechte Luft aus dem Bad in unser Zimmer. Es gab 3 Duschen für 30 Personen. Die Duschvorleger und Handtücher wurden in 7 Tagen nicht gewechselt. Wir haben im Hostel einen Transport zum Flughafen gebucht, der nicht kam. Nach einer Stunde mussten wir ein Uber rufen. El hostal estaba todo en inglés, señaléticas e informaciones en el lugar y, además, el staff no hablaba español o si lo hacía era muy difícil comunicarse. Se entiende la inversión americana existente en el lugar pero ello no es sinónimo de imposición de su cultura, llega a ser mal educado con la gente local. Si buscaban que fuera un lugar solo para huéspedes de habla inglesa debieran explicitarlo o simplemente no admitir a huéspedes provenientes de países en donde no predomina el id...

The girl at the front desk was helpful and attentive. The hangout space is cool. But I cant overlook the fact that this place is infested with cockroaches. We were in the room next to the kitchen and I can't tell you how many cockroaches I saw. I shook out my shoe in the morning and had several fall out. I want to take a shower just thinking about it. And its pretty disgusting that they still serve food to guests with this problem. Would not recommend until this is resolved

very friendly staff, good location and food was included and very good (even though dinner isn't that much, but still totally fair for that price). There are no windows in the dorms tho, so it's very stuffy and warm at night. Also I had cockroaches in my bed, so I'd recommend you to stay in a dorm upstairs. There's no furniture on the rooftop, so it's not really a nice place to hang out.

Would have been a really nice stay, except for (mainly) one incident. It said on the information page that there would be served free vegetarian dinner every day. I trusted this, but halfway into one of the meals me and another girl, both vegetarians, got told that today’s dinner contained meat. This was after we had eaten most of it. Another day we also got sent on the wrong tour, but that was a smaller problem

Unfortunately we found this place unsatisfactory. There were cockroaches and silverfish in our room, mistakes were made with our rooms which meant we had to swap rooms with another couple? The laundry done for us shrunk our clothes and gave them stains. The evening meals didn’t meet dietary requirements. Our room was next to the bathroom with a loud extractor fan and bad bathroom smells coming into the bedroom. It’s a shame as it was highly rated and the owner is so professional and kind.

The staff was great and location was fine (about a 10 min walk to the city center) but the private room that we paid for was disgusting - the vent for the bathroom next door went DIRECTLY into our room instead of outside, which meant there was perpetually a moldy smell and everytime someone took a shower and turned on the fan, our room got insanely hot, and everytime someone went number two, the smell also went directly into our room. I'm surprised it wasn't a health or safety hazard to rent out...

This is a great place to stay in Antigua! Hostel vibe with socialization encouraged by the breakfast and dinners. The location is great -- relatively quiet although still a very close walk to everything. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was really hot, but there were ample fans to help, although that did make it loud while sleeping (white noise though!).

Functional hostel. Worth knowing there’s a 10% card fee so bring cash or go to a nearby ATM. The free breakfast and dinner was great. We also left our non-valuable luggage here to do Acatenango. The superior double room has quite a bit of noise so wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers - tv was nice though. We also stayed in the standard double room and the mattress was so comfy.

Loved this place. The free dinner and breakfast really make it a great value for your money. Everything was clean, the one shower didn’t work but that was pretty miniscule. Nice rooftop patio and couches downstairs to chill. No AC but honestly with the fans it was totally fine.

Tolles Hostel! Und super nett alle

Really great experience in this hostel, family dinner was really good and so was the breakfast, rooftop with crazy views and great location overall, just 10 min walk away from the arch and a huge variety of restaurants and cafes nearby. But what made the stay special was for sure all the support and help from the staff, who were all so friendly and helpful, specially Bruno and Fernando. Reading the reviews before booking made me a bit skeptic, but it couldn't have been better. Reccomend it 100%.

Great vibes at this place, super social. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals here were yummy and a great value add included in the accommodation price. Only downside is the room could feel hot and stuffy, but having the rooftop helped. Thanks for a great stay :)

The free breakfast and dinner was really tasty! And think the hostel in general is good and has great potential for example if the activities were actually put on in the evenings for travellers to socialise but other than that it was good :)

This hostel is one of the best I’ve ever been to! It’s really clean, the staff is really friendly and helpful, there is free breakfast and dinner (which is very tasty) and from the rooftop you can watch the Fuego erupt. I’d definitely come again!

hostel was alright, but i thought the person behind reception was inattentive and impolite. The breakfast and dinner is included, so that is really nice! Room was alright too.(if you leave a good review, you get free beer, hence rating is a bit higher i think)

very good. nice with 5 options free breakfast and also sometimes dinner option included! only thing I would add is shoefree zone inside, it makes alot of difference after my experience. thank you for a good time

Stayed in the pods, was great to have privacy although it did get a lil bit stuff in the room! Staff were great and always helpful. Shout out to Adam! He always willing to help with recommendations and tips and made our stay super comfortable and enjoyable! The breakfast and dinner options were also heaps good!

Chill hostel with a really good breakfast. Bit dated interiors with few windows in the rooms and bathrooms which can make it feel stuffy. But the staff were so lovely and helpful, which made it a good experience for me.

Such a great hostel!! The hostel employees were so helpful with booking tours and shuttles. They also let us store our luggage for the volcano tour and shower after even though we checked out already which was so nice!

Adam, Antonio, and Bruno were all extremely welcoming and happy to answer any questions. Also a great value with both breakfast and dinner included in your stay. The vibe is laid back / chill and other travelers were easy to meet and chat with in part due to the two daily meals.

A nice little hostel, basic but have everything you need. Staff very friendly. Breakfast and dinner included although I didn't get the opportunity to try the breakfast. Dinner was okay but if you're wanting to fill yourself up I'd suggest going elsewhere. Nice rooftop area. Staff booked a shuttle for me to get to the airport which was a pretty seamless process. Rooms for pretty hot at night but there were fans. Overall a nice hostel.

My favourite hostel I’ve stayed at on my trip. The staff really make this place! They are all so welcoming and friendly, really make you feel at home. Bed in the pod dorm was also very comfy. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely and easy going. The staff were really kind and so welcoming. They made you feel like you were coming home. I stayed in the private room and it was clean, spacious and comfortable. Heads up, there is no shower in the private bathroom and you will need ear plugs for sure. It’s on the road side at level with the cars and the reception/entrance is next to your door. I honestly didn’t mind because my ear plugs did the job and there are quiet hours.
