Bedbug proplems.

L'auberge est bien placée et le personnel a été très accommodant, bien que le responsable ait été très désagréable. En effet, nous avons trouvé des punaises de lit dans notre chambre lors de notre première nuit dans cet établissement. Nous l'avons signalé et avons été changées de chambre avant de changer d'auberge complètement. Certaines de mes amies ont déjà laissé leur avis et le responsable leur a répondu en faisant preuve de mauvaise foi, prétendant que leur message était puéril et immature, que les punaises de lit n'étaient pas de leur ressort et qu'ils ont traité le sujet avec sérieux. Pourtant, la porte de notre chambre est restée grande ouverte toute la nuit, la chambre voisine (qui était sans doute tout aussi infestée étant donné que le nid se trouvait entre les deux chambre) n'a pas été prévenue et nous avons retrouvé des commentaires mentionnant les punaises de lit qui remontaient à plusieurs mois, ce qui corrobore avec la taille du nid et des punaises, comme la photo le démontre.

Nous avons retrouvé un nid de punaises de lit dans la chambre et avons dû quitter l'auberge au plus vite. Cela faisait plusieurs mois que ce nid était signalé et rien n'a été fait. Le manager a eu une réaction très vive et désagréable lors de nos échanges à ce propos. Bien que bien située, je ne réitèrerai pas cette expérience dans cette auberge.

There is bed bugs nests that have been there for months. There is dead skin particles in the bed frames. The manager is horrible, even if the employees do their maximum.

- I found a bedbug crawling around on my suitcase. It was my first and only hostel stay so it had to be from here - The “lockers” are a small tight space under the bed - They LOVE money. They charge you 3 euros to leave your luggage in the storage if you come early. - Did I say they LOVE money? They charge you 5 euros for an early check in + The employees did everything they can to help

Über die Sauberkeit kann man diskutieren. Eine von uns wurde von Bettwanzen gebissen, das Bett konnte gewechselt werden und man hat kostenlose Wäsche bekomme.

We found bedbugs in our room and had to check out early to avoid getting further bitten all over my body. As we were checking out, front desk told us we would get a refund for the two nights that we were no longer staying for but the contact info they gave us completely ghosted and ignored us.

There were bed bugs

Percevejos me picaram em vários locais, inclusive na pálpebra o que atrapalhou todas as minhas reuniões do dia seguinte, além de ter conseguido dormir apenas 2hs por causa das picadas. Apesar de ser um quarto barato tive que gastar mais do que a estadia em anti histamínicos. Os quartos compartilhados ficam fora da propriedade e isto deveria estar na descrição do quarto, eles não têm qualquer conexão com a receção, as portas dos quartos são direito para a rua e vários hóspedes saem para fumar e deixam aberto, entrei e saí várias vezes sem ter que colocar o código. Por este preço mesmo sendo uma acomodação barata existem várias outras opções na cidade.

i had quite a hard time in the hostel. it is very practical and doesnt have any human-kindess services. the staff were under prussure all the time. maybe there are too many guests for this, but the vibe is just not working. you can easly put some nice cousy corners with sofas and some lights outside to make it abit more homy and cozy. my food was throne away after one day of being out of date from the fridge. including my foodbox. my friends had bed bugs and didnt get any attention for that. i am sorry. you need to change some things... thanks for having me anyway. hope youll find a way to make it more nice in the future.

I would do not recommend the 14 bed room to anyone. It is FILLED with mold and is extremely musty smelling. ESPECIALLY in the bathroom area and shower. My friend had to book a different hostel for the second night because of her allergies. BED BUGS!! Two people near us got bit!!. The beds are rusty with poor ladders to get to the top bunk and it is just a gross space to be in. It’s so moist in there that even the bedsheets felt moist when they weren’t. I don’t think anyone should be sleeping in this room. T

I had bedbugs in my room (108). I told the reception about it, so hopefully this problem will get solved as soon as possible!!!!! Otherwise the room was clean and big with a nice window to the courtyard. One of the 4-bed rooms that some of my group stayed in had only a window into the "light-well" and the ladders to the upper bunks were missing. The hostel is not so great if you are looking for people to meet and hang out with, as the bar and terrace shut down at 11:00 pm. :-( Especially one of the staff was really friendly and cool - oftens works the night shift...unfortunately didn't catch his name...but is worth mentioning.

HAY CHINCHES DE CAMA!!! La habitación de 14 tiene olor a humedad, el baño esta lleno de hongos y sumado a ello, termine mi viaje llena de picaduras. Tiene una buena ubicación pero que más da si va a terminar por arruinarte el viaje.

i was there 5 years ago and it was awesome, now i wanted to come back and it was the biggest mistake 😔 making reservation on their website, there is not noted about additional costs or city taxes (which i thought are included in the price)) so at the end it was more expensive than on booking... no alcohol from outside, okay, but still... 🤷‍♀️ kitchen was disaster, not even a single knife,,, no cutlery, nothing.. cook a breakfast was challenge... no plug in in the whole kitchen, dinning room, nowhere.. in one toilet was water running for four days... in our room the garbage bin was constantly full and not changed,,, not refilled paper towels in kitchen,,, and someone threw our signed fruits from the fridge... plus 2€ per bag after check out 🤦‍♀️ i guess we were lucky not to have some bugs in the bed... nevermore, sorry but not sorry

I spent one night in Lisbon Safestay and ended up checking out at 5am after waking up to multiple bed bugs in my bed. There were bed bugs of multiple sizes, which means they had been there a while and eggs had hatched. I have 300+ bites on my body and the experience has been traumatic, to say the least. Obviously, there is a risk of this with travelling, but there has been no accountability from the hostel. They have ignored my multiple emails and refund requests. Do not recommend staying here!

We had bed bugs and we were moved in the middle of the night to a dorm of 10 people with no open beds so we had to get moved again to another room on another floor to have beds. I also emailed about the bed bugs and a possible refund but no one got back to me. That being said it was a great location and the wifi was good. There are more hostels in that area, I would look to going to them before here. Maybe they will be more communicative and cleaner.

Be aware: there are BED BUGS. They didnt take my case. So here is proof, in case you can book somewhere else. Not so safe stay here at all

J’ai couché dans les chambre au rez de chaussés au niveau de la rue, les conditions sont moyennes : entre la moisissure dans l’espace salle de bain, la rouille sur les lits et une grosse soupçon de punaises de lit !! Mise à part ça, la localisation est top et l’hostel à ce qui faut niveau service ! (En gros fuis les chambres du bas )

Bed bugs, mold, humidity, got sick and wasted a day in Lisbon, had to book a last minute hotel for 800 Euros

****BED BUGS, PUNAISES DE LIT***** I got there on Wednesday sept 18th, took a nap and when I woke up, there was a bed bug on my pillow !!! DISGUSTING I directly went to the lobby, they told be me I had to take a picture and send an email to have a reimbursement. I did it and still no answers! Absolutely insane. I was bitten on my arm and neck, got sick and missed a whole day in Lisbon cause I had fever. Had to book a hotel cause all the good hostels were full, spent 800 euros just like that! Do not go there, there is also black mold in the showers and it smells so humid everywhere.

Die Küche ist wirklich schlecht ausgestattet, es gab keine Gabeln, kaum Gewürze o.ä In unserem Zimmer haben wir in der letzten von 4 Nächten Bettwanzen entdeckt... habe beim Auschecken darauf hingewiesen und der Mitarbeiter meinte nur dass er das an den Manager weiterleitet... ich bezweifle dass da was passiert Die Mitarbeiter wirken extrem unmotiviert Um hineinzukommen muss man klingeln, es wird aber einfach jedem aufgemacht und nicht überprüft ob man wirklich Gast im Hostel ist

Bed bugs… not much else to say except we’ve had to destroy some of our stuff and boil the rest. It’s been a nightmare. We didn’t stay in any other hostels or places so this was definitely the cause.

10/10 the location, close to everything we wanted to see. The person from the front desk was friendly and attentive. The bed, wasn't comfortable at all. We struggled having rest. The pillows and the mattress were too thin. And of course the cleaning in the bed was really poor. I ended up full of bed bugs bites around my legs and my arms. And the detail of blood stain I one of the blankets was awful.

Great location, and breakfast and common spaces were really nice ! Unfortunately though, there were bedbugs and the staff were very unhelpful when it came do doing anything about it

I‘m kind of divided with this one. On one hand, it was the best social atmosphere I’ve ever had in a hostel room and there were a lot of spaces to hang out. On the other hand, one of my roommates got bit by bed bugs and people from my room were bringing home guys from the club which made me feel not so safe. Maybe it would be a good idea to have bracelets for the guests. Then the top bed was super hard to reach because I had like 20cm of space as the ladder was between beds. A terribile experience, the cleanliness was awful. There was'nt space in the male bathroom to stay in 2 people. My girlfriend got bitten from bed bugs and After we changed the room they put us in a bedroom with dirty sheets. In the First room there was only One ladder to climb up the beds in a room of 6. Atleast the staff of the reception were fine ti help us but when we asked to talk to the manager for all these problem She never shows up. Is cheap but isn't worth It.

Overall a decent hostel with a nice common area with a bar to socialize, events, and nice showers. Minus points though : tiny WC, no ladder to get on the upper bed in some dorms, and BED BUGS.

We went there for a single night in August 2023 before Flying home bc it was cheap at the hostel, and yes it was cheap, but we probably got some bedbugs bites that night unfortunately. Nice staff

Bed had bedbugs :( asked to switch rooms but there was only a 10 bed dorm available, I had booked a 4 bed dorm. Told reception about the bed bugs and they didn’t offer any compensation and still made me pay to store my bag. There was also yelling and running around the hallways until 2:30am. The top bunk was super shaky and had no rail, was very uncomfortable.
