Unfortunately, my stay did not match the description provided online. I booked a bed in a 4-bed dorm, but was given a very small room with only one bunk bed. When I asked about the 4-bed dorm, I was told they do not have such rooms at all, which was confusing and misleading. Sucks. Showers turn hot and cold, wifi doesn’t even reach the rooms nor the toilets. Horrible, power plugs suck. One price was agreed on and the next day they try to charge extra. First they tried to overcharge my boyfriend, he disagreed so staff agreed with him. When I went to pay they discussed another price with me. Breakfast is two very small baked eggs, one piece of dry bread and two pieces of pineapple. Not worth it for the price.

Even though it’s ’cheap’ for Antigua, it’s still over priced. Gross, tiny, not really functional, uncomfy, would not stay again.

Location is great and the staff were lovely. There is no social atmosphere and the rooms get quite warm. They do remind me of a prison cell and almost any room you stay in you can hear someone going to the bathroom as it is directly outside your cell. There are cockroaches. Overall definitely not worth the price.

Shocking hostel, dirty, barely working facilities

Gute Lage und günstig, ansonsten aber nicht empfehlenswert. Dusche und Toiletten sind dreckig inklusive riesiger Kakerlaken. Die Zimmer sind schäbig, die Doppelbetten viel zu klein für zwei Personen. Personal war ganz nett, Wifi war gut. Klar, es ist billig, Sauberkeit kann man meiner Meinung nach trotzdem erwarten.

Despite multiple staff hanging around, there is rarely any cleaning done and the bathrooms and showers are disgusting. The reception plays loud music until quite late and as the rooms are all quite close to reception it is impossible to sleep. Loud tour groups gather from 6am so early wake up call. Don’t be fooled by positive reviews on this app - they have a sign offering a soda for a hostel world review. It is fine for a night if needs must but no longer.

Very budget-friendly hostel, private room, facilities and overall environment consistent with the price.

Look. Need a bed to crash in? Hard to beat a private room for this price. Not amazing, it’s fine. Would not recommend for more than a night. Quiet at night, the showers could be refreshed, but the bedsheets were clean, the staff were nice and the location is two blocks away from the central park. Perfect for a pre volcano night.

El precio es muy accesible, las camas son muy incómodas y viejas , los baños sucios . Si quieres ahorrar plata y no te importa esto , es un buen plan llegar acá

Honestly we were very impressed! It’s cheap but clean, the rooms were nice, and the atmosphere was really lovely. Mornings were noisy (7-8am) because tour groups eat breakfast here before Acatenango, but evenings were quiet.

This budget friendly place is perfect for what you pay!

Good place overall. Always people early in the morning for Acatenango hike. Room was a bit musty for a private. Staff are really nice and the location is great. Good place for what you pay for

You definitely get what you pay for. A private room at this price is unbeatable. I felt very comfortable during my stay. The rooms are very basic, but clean and cozy. The staff and the dog are super friendly. It’s not really a hostel to meet a lot of people, but it’s perfect if you’re looking for some peace or just using Antigua as a stopover.

Location is good, but the facilities weren’t great. The bathrooms and showers aren’t nice and the rooms aren’t the cleanest. If you’re on a super tight budget, this might work, but if you have a few extra dollars to spend, go somewhere nicer.

Hostel moyen, j’y ai passé 3 nuits en chambre privée. C’est le strict minimum sans même une chaise. L’hostel est bien placé certes mais la ville d’Antigua n’est pas grande, tout est à côté alors je pense qu’il y a de meilleurs rapports qualités prix dans le coin. Très peu d’eau chaude, je n’ai eu qu’une seule douche avec des l’eau à peu près chaude. Pas de cuisine. Pas de communication avec le personnel. Dommage, j’ai quand même passé de beaux jours �...

Literally the receptionist guy played loud rock music, from speakers, while everyone was trying to fall asleep…and bathroom pretty disgusting.

Bon rapport qualité-prix Super emplacement! Le personnel est très gentil et arrangeant Par contre la chambre n’était pas très propre, ca sentait l’humidité. Pas social dutout.

It’s a good cheep option for Antigua but the rooms advertise as 4 beds but all of the rooms are two beds. The rooms are really small and give prison dorm, I was sharing with a friend but very awkward and not enough space for two strangers
