- Reservamos y llegamos y dijeron que ya no había habitaciones, nos tocó buscar otro hospedaje sin app
- El recepcionista muy pesado, muy mala forma para tratar a cliente, después traté de cargar el celular arriba y tenían la música a todo volumen 9 de la mañana, los baños totalmente sucios.
- I had the worst time at this hospital first they recommended a taxi company that tried to overcharge me and eventually charge me twice for just one ride also this Hostel just charged me for a night that I was not in the facility. I only made bookings for three nights and I already paid for that. I would like my refund for this fraudulent charge.
+ La ubicación, aunque hay mucha bulla en la noche está cerca de bares y en la calle principal entonces todo se escucha
- El ruido en la noche, las habitaciones no tenían ni lo básico toalla y jabón, la ventana que da al balcón no sirve, para uno que viaja sola no me dio tranquilidad, el lavamanos y la ducha se taquea y se empoza el agua, ‘e quedé 7 noches y en ningún momento me hicieron limpieza de la habitación, ni cambio de sábanas y toallas, el de recepción Ricardo no sabe comunicar las cosas es contradictorio con lo que dice. Por una noche cobran 63 dólares es muy caro para lo que ofrecen y para ser un hostel

- las camas tenían mal olor, el baño no tenia jabón, ocuparon nuestra cama asignada otra persona, lo que significo que debimos bajar un colchón al suelo para que durmieran dos personas, por ello se molesto la administración y durante la mañana entro sin previo aviso un hombre a la habitación de mujeres, cuando le señale que no correspondía sin ningún complejo me dice "y que quieres que haga". el personal que realizo el check out muy indolente, no así el personal de check in trato de acomodarnos lo mejor posible dentro de sus posibilidades. Booking me indico por correo que las peticiones especiales de estacionamiento y desayuno eran aceptadas por el hostel sin importe adicional, lo que fue desconocido totalmente por el hostel, en la aplicación indicaba que los impuestos y cargo estaban incluidos y a la hora de pagar nos cobraron impuestos. la ubicación es buena para el lugar donde debíamos ir, pero la zona es peligrosa, con delincuencia.
+ No me gustó la experiencia, de hecho este lunes pondré un reclamo en el Sernac y también una denuncia por discriminación, ya que la persona que me atendió me miró de pies a cabeza, me preguntó a qué me dedicaba y me canceló la reserva.
- Awful stay. Paid for a private but we were put in a form and said that no one else would come in, I asked to be moved and when I was told we finally could we were made to pack up at 5pm move out the dorm and then not check back in until 10pm only to then be told we had to check back out of that room at 11am. Shambles .. tried to complain to the property since and they are refusing to take any accountability. Side notes, it’s not very clean, really loud parties and far from the city.

- Las fotos de publicidad no tiene nada que ver con el lugar físico que realmente es al verlo cuando uno llega al hostal ,… creo que es una publicidad más encima el personal no está capacitado para resolver o solucionar algún inconveniente.

- The hostel is poor quality all round. Would advise travellers to spend your money elsewhere in Santiago, where you can get much better quality accommodation for the same price if not cheaper. Don't waste your money here

The staff here are so rude. We were genuinely in shock at how rude one of the male receptionists was. We have never experienced anything like it in any of LATAM. The space is nice and the rooms are fine.
The staff here were so kind and let me store my bag while I was hiking around Patagonia. The room I was in was quite noisy because the hostel is on a main road but it wasn't a huge issue. The rooftop has great views and the bathrooms are very clean.
Relación precio calidad bien. Solo sirve para pasar una noche de emergencia. Tiene buena ubicación en el centro de la ciudad, sin embargo el sector se està tornando peligroso en el último tiempo ya que hay mucha vida nocturna en los alrededores. La habitación parecía regularmente limpia, sin embargo, la cama no tenía su ropa de cama recién lavada (hubo que dormir las pocas horas sobre recostado). Simply the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is phenomenal, the vibes are great, and there’s always something to do. I’ll definitely be back. A special thanks to Stacy, who was so kind and made sure I felt included in everything.
The location of this hostel is perfect (close to subway and clubs and restaurants). Lovely views from the rooftop. Huge kitchen! Sadly wasn’t super social, but I’m sure it depends on when you’re there
Extremely helpful and nice staff (met all of them). Cool rooftop to hang out and relax and beds are comfortable. For noise sensitive people with the road close it might not be the best. Will be back!

Lovely place and had a great stay. It was very quiet and we didn’t manage to come across many people. However the hostel itself was always kept clean and tidy, and was a comfortable stay.
Absolutely perfect. All the staff and volunteers were really cool and helpful. There is a restaurant plaza very close with so many options for breakfast and dinner. Just be ready for the weekend nightlife. The block gets pretty noisy
Clean and comfy beds but hot rooms in the summer. Patio vibes are awesome, the location is great the space is large and comfortable. For a hostel at this price range, you can’t beat it! Good showers too for a hostel!
One staff member was rude and unfriendly but all the others were 5 star
O Guanako Hostel é incrível! Os funcionários são simpáticos e sempre solícitos. O Hostel tem uma ótima estrutura, um terraço maravilhoso, a cozinha está sempre limpa, ar condicionado e há suítes, até nos quartos compartilhados. Também há toalhas grátis, além de café e chá disponíveis para os hóspedes o dia inteiro. Sem contar que é perto do metrô, de restaurantes, mercados e de vários pontos turísticos. Eu super recomendo! Um abraço especial ao Sebastian e à Michael...
Felt constantly judged by all but one of the workers. Lovely rooftop however
Stayed in a private room, awfully loud as the room looked out onto the main road. Bathroom not clean. Taxi’s can’t stop outside the hostel as it’s one-way. Large sundeck and rooftop. Only stayed 1 night so unsure if it was social.
Really there aren't many words to describe the experiences at Guanako except for gratitude, respect, and soul. The international community I met during my short stay allowed for enlightening conversations and also a welcomed challenge for my continuing lessons and comprehension of Spanish language, as many people representing Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay, and Chile call Guanako home, as now do I. Atmosphere is dope, decor is dope, the streets are full of action and spice. 10/10
