horrible experience. booked a double twin private room and received confirmation from both the website and from the owners with instructions on how to get there. when we arrived they somehow didn’t have our booking on file, and their only room available was a double bed. we asked for a discount as they made a mistake with our booking and could not give us the room, and they refused and said we could either take the bed or go find another place to stay. given that it was late at night and we we...

Room right next to the kitchen was extremely noisy.
I stayed 2 nights here. Was not a fan. I was woken up Sunday morning at 7:15am by loud noises from construction next store. The room also had tiny bugs in it. During the first night my sink didn’t work temporarily so I had to go down and tell the person at the front desk who promptly fixed it. Lastly the mattress was incredibly hard. I still slept but it wasn’t comfortable.

Located in a sketchy neighbourhood, the employees don’t speak English. The photos make it look way nicer than it actually is. Good place overall of you just plan to sleep there for a night or two

Nice and comfortable room for a quick stay over in Panajachel. The staff are really nice and friendly. Not a social hostel in the slightest but that’s okay with us. Great location just off the Main Street.
Me gustó mucho el hotel, el personal es agradable y atento, la habitación tiene lo necesario y la cocina también. Todo el lugar es agradable y bonito. La única pega es que si no quieres que te vea la gente que pasa por el pasillo tienes que cerrar las cortinas y no entra luz. Por lo demás me encantó y tiene un muy buen precio. En los callejones hay muchos puestos de comida donde compramos los desayunos y algunas comidas y eso nos encantó, la gente es muy cercana.
I really liked the hotel, the staff is friendly and attentive, the room has the necessary and the kitchen too. The whole place is nice and nice. The only drawback is that if you don't want to be seen by people passing by on the corridor you have to close the curtains and no light comes in. Otherwise I loved it and it has a very good price. In the alleys there are many food stalls where we bought the breakfasts and some meals and we loved that, the people are very close.

Stayed 3 days. Loved it. Perfect place for rest after exploring Panajachel and surrounds each day. It's right off Santander, the main road for shops/restaurants. The alley way leading up is filled with families and shops--completely safe day & night. I recommend the cakes/pies sold by one family along the route, and the window tortilla shop directly where you turn--you'll see it. Great to have a kitchen, and the place is immaculate. Best part is the WONDERFUL STAFF! Thank you!!
Ebenfalls super unterkunft etwas versteckt aber trotzdem mittem im zentrum. Auch hier wieder etwas ringhörig aber okay! Alles sauber gute küche. Wir waren happy.
Also great accommodation a little hidden but still right in the center. also here again a little ringhörig but okay! everything clean good kitchen. we were happy.
We had an amazing stay at this Hostel! I was with two other friends, three total. We each had our own bed and shared our own bathroom. AC was in-unit which was such a nice surprise. The street leading into the hostel is narrow, but when we've come back at night, we did not have any sense of fear or lack of safety. Just make sure to keep an eye out for motorcycles or bikes of the community members that use it to get in and out of the neighborhood. The staff is super friendly. Would recommend!
The whole place is clean, comfy beds. It’s located down a Callejón but they will email you a video of locating it if you ask. My only complaint is that we were in room 10. Which is right by the community kitchen. I don’t think there are set quiet hours and 2/3 nights there were large groups of people in the kitchen being loud until after 11 pm, and people banging pots around at 5-6 am. I feel there should be posted quiet hours because of this, we were very annoyed.
My friend and I were traveling with her five year old son so we were looking for a spot in a good location but not too "party"... this place was absolutely perfect! Affordable, great location, air conditioning in our room!, shared kitchen in the hotel to save food, and the staff was so kind. Very happy with our stay!

Ein wirklich schickes Zimmer in zentraler aber trotzdem ruhiger Lage. Für den Preis eine tolle und geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Sehr bequeme Betten.

Had a great stay here! You can’t beat the location and it was very clean with friendly service. There are no facilites to speak of but we had a nice time.

Die Zimmer sind schlicht, aber fein und vor allem super sauber – genau das, was ich suche! Oben gibt es eine schöne Terrasse, und das Personal ist jederzeit erreichbar, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt in einer sicheren Nebenstraße, nur zwei Minuten zu Fuß vom Hauptweg entfernt. Eine perfekte Wahl für zwei Personen, die ein gepflegtes und gut gelegenes Zimmer suchen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
The rooms are simple, but nice and above all super clean exactly what I was looking for! upstairs there is a nice terrace, and the staff is always available, friendly and helpful. the hotel is located in a safe Nebenstraße, only a two minute walk from the main road. a perfect choice for two people who are looking for a well maintained and well located room. highly recommended!
Perfect for an over night stay
Great stay, kitchen was accesible, nice rooftop and staff were friendly, good location - only downside is that the alley way entrance could feel unsafe if you were alone not an issue for us but just FYI for any solo travellers.
