El Hostal hostel in Tbilisi / Georgia was closed upon arrival !! Please make sure you don't sell any hostels in the future that are no longer in service?? I had to book another hostel upon arrival which caused a lot of problems for me!! Best Wishes from Tanja Doreen Volte

Bedbugs everywhere. The owner said we could either stay and deal with it or find somewhere else. The other spaces are also very dirty (kitchen, bathrooms, common area, etc.) The only good aspect is the location.

Staff and location is amazing. BUT we could not sleep there because of BED BUGS!

Hostel is besutiful BUT there were some kind of bugs in our room and i was bited by them (after 3 days in the hostel i was in pain, last night i had to sleep on the ground, because these bugs were inside the beds).

A single woman arrived in the middle of the night with heavy rain in the EI hostel with a website reservation's confirmation, but the EI hostel was asked to raise the price. The bearded man at the reception came out almost naked to tell me that we had sold your bed and we were sorry that we couldn't let you stay! then kicked me out, what a worse condition of being finally kicked out? Couldn't have this more than terrible experience.

The photos do not correspond to reality and the place is not secure! The hostel is literally run down, in very poor condition. The rooms are overcrowded, heaps of things everywhere. There isn't really a reception, I had to look for the reception person on the balcony across the room. The man at the reception was almost naked and tried to flirt with me. All the bedroom doors are open and the door downstairs too. The worst hostel in my life as a traveler!

This seems like a hostel mostly for long-termers. There are no lockers. The rooms had connecting doors so it was more or less a 12 bed instead of 6. you get what you payed for.

the hostel has potential, but it definetely needs a bit renovation, reorganization and more cleanliness

BEDBUGS be carefull ! Nice place, but I should have look at the comments before booking...

friendly guy at the reception, helpful (I think he is called Irshad?) half Azerbaijani half Russian fella great location poor kitchen but doable good place for affordable cheap traveling kinda loud at 10-13 pm cuz common corridor is attached to the rooms

It was ok. It's so cheap, don't go with big expectations.

Ms. Maya was very good, helped my mom with accommodation. However, please double check with the hostel. They do not even know if you booked with them. They told us they do not know how we booked. There was Elshad, rude and does not check his bookings. Because of Ms. Maya I give this score, but for Elshad 1 star. Thanks for not kicking the guest out though. I am still grateful.

Great stay, enjoyed it. Bathroom could have been cleaner, but the beds were very comfortable and host was great.

What a pleasure it was to stay a few nights in this hostel. A great host, very helpful, thanks to whom the general atmosphere in this place was splendid. People from different social backgrounds and different countries gather here, discuss with one another, share their stories, their food, their advice on what to visit, etc.

The staff is top tier in hospitality and kindness :D Definitely I'd recommend it.

Super Host!

Bien situé et vraiment pas cher mais aussi vraiment pas top. L'ambiance est bizarre, la "cuisine" et la "salle de bain" sont microscopique et semblent prêtes à s'écrouler. Il n'y a pas de clim dans les chambres malgré la chaleur et pas de lockers non plus pour les affaires qui craignent.

that's an ok hostel for the price, tho i could no sleepwell because of smell, staff is helpful and friendly, tho space is narrow all things try to work

L’endroit n’est pas de dernière fraîcheur mais ça reste un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Mention spéciale à l’hôte qui est d’une gentillesse inouïe et serviabilité à toute épreuve.

It may not be such a "perfect" place, but it was very charming. Staff was pretty amazing, both efficient, kind and very helpful. Though it was at least half price of the other hostels I've stayed at in town, it may very well be my favorite
