Haven Coliving - Venice Beach

- The hot tub is not working, I got NO refund! But still Advertising hot tub! I did not see the negative review before I booked :’(

- No one to reach after hours. I was given the wrong locker combination and couldn't get a hold of my belongings locked inside until the next day, late in the morning, by a resident who was able to help (staff didn't get back to me until the next day in the afternoon). Very frustrating and unprofessional situation!

+ Not much to like, location is decent, but not good.

- Everything that went wrong did go wrong. The nook I was assigned was dirty. Then I was given the option of the others that were supposed to be clean. Only one was "clean" but the light didn't work in it. Once I brought my light in there and was ready to go to sleep I could see blood and crust on the walls. I was not about to go and analyse what the crust was, but I have a pretty good idea. The rest of the space was dirty as well and obviously not been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom was functional, but dirty. No staff responded until 7h later, offering me to move into another dirty bed.

- Nous sommes arrivées à 3h pm, les deux lits que nous avions réserver depuis plusieurs semaines n’étaient pas prêt à notre arrivée. Nous avons décider t’attendre sur place, le temps de manger et de se préparer pour le rester dans la journée. À 4h pm nous nous sommes rendu compte que d’autres personnes occupaient les lits qui nous étions dédiés. J’ai donc contacter le propriétaire et il m’a dit qu’ils avaient eu une réservation imprévue. Il nous a donc rembourser notre réservation … gros manque de professionnalisme et de gestion. Il me semble que ce n’est pas compliquer faire respecter l’heure du check out.

+ Architectural home

- Stealing from kitchen when I placed my phone coffee, from the long staying tenant.

+ Beautiful Architecture home, especially kitchen and outdoor seating.

- High noise level outdoors, and longer staying tenant was trying to steal my items from kitchen, phone , coffee, anything set down for a minute was subject for theft. Very upsetting 😡

+ I liked the decor and available parking

- The hot tub was broken. Bed isn't very comfortable. Some bathrooms didn't have toilet paper. My bunk 307 didn't have a functioning light or outlets. Its very high risk for getting burned down in bunk due to faulty outlet. None of the remote worked for the TV or Roku

+ I want just to tell that if woman report ugly man who is going in underwear !!!!!!!! at the facility, he must move out and maybe even pay normal guests moral loss for unpleasant experience, it was insane shock.

+ I liked the quietude it offered and the easy access to the airport.

- I think a lot of things were left to be discovered, once there, and not in the best way. It would be good to know beforehand that this property has 2 flights of stairs to the rooms but no lift, so I could have packed accordingly (lighter)! Also, the gravel-filled path leading up to it is not suitcase-wheel friendly; I broke the handle of mine trying to drag it over it, and finally had to buy a new one. I also asked the cleaning lady a question about the locker and she said it was not part of her job! I understand that, but having being in hospitality myself, there are better ways to answer this question. Many questions sent via the platform also went unanswered in the booking stage.

+ I liked the furniture, the garden too.

- There was no light in the bedroom, which wasn’t very convenient.
