Long staying à éviter, observation d’un certain relachement comportemental du personnel...exemple précis punaises de lit. Familiarité irrespectueuse conduisant à une violence silencieuse à vous obliger à accepter ce qui pourrait etre qualifié d’inadmissible ! Est-ce l’abscence des reélles responsables hierarchiques en congé qui gérent parfaitement ce lieu habituellement ! En effet, tout est nickel lorsque leur leadership est reconnu aussi bien par la clientéle que par leurs collégues employés

Warning! Bedbugs present in the hostel! After my first night staying at the Beau M Hostel, I woke up to a bedbug on my bed's privacy curtain. After squeezing it, the bedbug burst into a big red spot which I believe was mine or my roommate's blood. I informed one of the members of staff about this, worrying about a possible bug infestation but the employee said that it's fine unless another bug is spotted. The following late evening, I noticed a bedbug again, this time on my bedsheet! Upon informing the staff again, I was left with no other option but to either sleep in that same bed, or stay at reception overnight. The employee explained that a refund will be issued to me, however this can only be done by a manager and they will not be there until the next morning. As a result of this, I was placed on the reception's couch awaiting for the manager to come in the morning to speak about my situation. The next morning, I was informed that the manager will arrive at the accommodation at 9am. I waited until 10am with no sight of the manager... However, another employee was actually able to provide me with a refund, although a different employee told me that they cannot refund me without a manager? Overall, the entire situation regarding the bedbugs has been handled very poorly by the hostel. Bedbugs can be a serious to risk to people's health if left unchecked. However, the handling by both the employees and by the manager, claiming that there was no evidence of presence of bedbugs in the bed, is just appalling. As a result of these circumstances, I was forced to prematurely end my trip to Paris, and to adjust my overall trip due to the risk of spreading bedbugs in case they enter a persons belongings. Unfortunately, once again, the management didn't seem to care too much considering the lack of response to my email to them regarding this situation.

There are bed bugs present in this hostel. Service is great here and they refunded me with no problems but be careful and check your mattress and blanket if you stay here.

Be wise and avoid this hostel. Bed bugs. Was kindly refunded and sent to a second room after i found some bites when I woke up. The second night, immediately noticed new bites and left in the middle of the night. A shame. Nice staff and a perfect environment otherwise. Protect yourself and your peace of mind while travelling, ditch the Beau M.

Stuffy, humid room during half of my stay that made breathing and sleeping difficult: I never experienced this before, and I don't know whether it's due to the shower room being in the same room (separated by a door of course), but I had to crack open the window, which solved the problem. Otherwise, it would have been unbearable. Bathrooms: Clean, except the room toilets smelled to varying degrees 75% of the time. WiFi: Inconsistent strength in my room, but strong in the common area. Location: Not bad, but expect at least a 30-45 minute transit to Paris Central via metro (Louvre, Museé d'Orsay, Rodin, etc.). There are some bus stations close by or right in front of the hostel though. Lockers and locks: They can be little difficult to open, but once a staff member showed me how to open them, I was fine. The room lock and lockers' locks do make decent noise when you open them. Flat pillows

Me aparecieron chinches, pero el personal actuó rápidamente y me dieron soluciones

Tras consulta médica inmediatamente tras mi regreso a mi país, se confirma que tengo picaduras de chinches, las cuales solo podría haber contraído en este hotel. Una experiencia desagradable. Deberían mejorar la limpieza e higiene de las habitaciones.

I stayed there for a couple nights and on my last day I came back to a huge bed bug. They placed me on another bunk bed but I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night. Had multiple issues with the storage locker as well.

Pros: 1. Great and secure locks on code built in the cupboards (you need hold to open it) 2. Location (feels safe) and close to metro 10 min walk 3. Clean (hostel monitors and prevents bed bugs) 4. Tall beds with dimmable light (you hold light down to turn brightness up or down) 5. Helpful and friendly staff 6. Quiet, this is not your typical party 20something hostel Cons: 1. No communal kitchen 2. Not many bathrooms for dorm of 8 you have one en-suite shower.

Points pour améliorer :-) - j'ai trouvé la lumière du lit très faible - vu qu'on partage les wc dans la chambre, un petit désodorisant serait le bien venu - pour les lits du haut, l'échelle est plus haute que le matelas, pour ma part je me faisais mal en accédant au lit, voir pour mettre une mousse sur la dernière barre

The staff were super lovely and it had modern/ clean facilities. Just unfortunate that my last night I was bitten by bed bugs :(

Dirty beds! Bedbugs everywhere! I was bit by these horrible bugs everywhere on my body, it was unbearable, severe allergies broke out on my skin because of these severe bed bug bites, and sleeping in these small rooms with 7 other people was impossible, the men were dirty, loud, aggressive and impertinent, I complained at the reception, the staff did absolutely nothing about it, but all of a sudden became impertinent with me and tried to steal my rent money! AVOID! this hostel at all cost!

They had bedbugs.

Spent over a week here and left with bed bugs. After informing the staff they contacted the owner and said the owner would contact me. They never contacted me even though I tried to reach them several times. Very disappointed with this experience. The staff were amazing and very helpful. I’m just very disappointed in the owner. I hope no one else has the same experience I did.
