I DOn't recommend I arrived and there was no one at the reception No hot water Trash cans full of papers. Very dirty kitchen. They turn off the AC and it's hot. There are bed bugs. No ventilation. There is humidity. THE WORST THING is Kat's attention. She makes guests feel like it's their fault that there are bed bugs and says that IF you don't like sharing with people, you should leave. BED BUGS!!! Check google reviews too, there have been bed bugs for over a week and the staff are aware!!! Did not get a full refund and now have to pay to wash all of our things. We have been bitten all over by bugs, if you stay please check your mattresses and pillows as there are clear signs of bed bugs

Wir haben hier für 2 Nächte gebucht und uns leider nicht wirklich wohlgefühlt. Bei Ankunft war das Bett noch nicht gemacht, bis abends hatten wir keine Decken und Handtücher bekommen und auch unser Rückgeld erst nach 24 Stunden erhalten. Außerdem gab es für 14 Betten 2 Badezimmer was definitiv zu wenig ist. Man musste teils ewig warten um zu duschen oder auf die Toilette zu gehen. Toilettenpapier und Seife waren fast nie zur Verfügung.

7-8 full trashbags and used bandaids in the dorm, fingernail underneath the pillow. Bathroom was really worn down, at some point no running water. Don’t know where the good reviews come from.. Staff was friendly though!

Das Hostel ist an sich sehr schön. Nur leider machten wir Bekanntschaft mit Bettwanzen, was uns dazu brachte, frühzeitig abzureisen. In der zweiten Nacht konnte meine Freundin die ganze Nacht nicht schlafen, weil sie durchgängig von Bettwanzen gebissen wurde. Sie war nicht die Einzige: Ein Paar und ein anderer Junge hatten ebenfalls Bettwanzen in ihren Betten entdeckt und wurden gebissen. Honestly not worth the money, not much around, one bathroom between 12- 16 people. One of my friends light and socket didn’t work the first night and we were told the door to get into the building was broken. It does the job, a bed to sleep in but I wouldn’t recommend!

Place is alright but not as mentioned for digital nomads.

Everything is okay but what disappointed me the most was that there was no one available at the hostel to look after 24 hours. There was just few hours when reception was active rest whole while it is all abandoned. Nice staff, floors could use a clean. Tough with only 2 washrooms on separate floors but it works. Rent a bike if you are staying in samui. Would have been nice if the drinking water was re filled.

The staff is really nice and the hostel itself is alright. The only problem is that there is only one toilet on the floor of the dorm for about 12 people. Even if it was cleaned in the morning, with so many people using it there was always male and female hair on the floor and sink and regularly no toilet paper. Felt so home-y, beautiful property, spacious dorm and the owner was the sweetest and most accommodating.

Das Hostelzimmer war super, man hatte genug Platzt, es gab Vorhänge, alles hat gepasst. Die Inhaberin war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Nur die Badsituatiob war nicht optimal, da es insgesamt nur 2 Bäder (Dusche und Klo in einem Raum) gab. Trotzdem echt gutes und soziales Hostel.

Very nice little hostel, very chill atmosphere but lovely place to slow down a bit on your travels. Kat the host is amazing and so welcoming and the hostel itself is very clean with very comfortable beds. About a 20 min walk away from the coast but surrounded by good food places.

Absolutely loved this hostel… this was my first one, staff are so lovely like a mother figure so welcoming and helping out if you need. Beds are comfy and big. Feels very safe. Vibe is more chilled, there’s tv to watch Netflix (own login ) and a kitchen if you don’t fancy eating out. 2 showers. ended up extending my stay by 2 more nights. clothes washed and folded back on your bed for 150baht. And only 40baht to get to fishermen’s village by bike. would highly recommend if your not into ...

The owner is super nice and was always happy to help us with anything. The common area was pretty cool, however there wasn’t that much going on within the accommodation, since it was just one room it was easy to meet people though. Unfortunately there was no water dispenser, apart from that the amenities were great.

Lovely chilled hostel, Kat is the nicest lady, always on hand if you need anything. I kept extending with no issues. Nice chill hostel about 20 mins walk to fisherman’s market & wharf walking street.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin, sauberes Hostel Es ist eher ein kleines Hostel von der Kapazität her, aber viel Platz. Gemütliche Betten und durch Vorhänge auch Privatsphäre. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

I truely felt at home ! It has more the spirit of a guesthouse than a hostel, and that’s exactly what we loved. The host was incredibly kind and gave us so many great recommendations to enjoy the city. Highly recommend — don’t hesitate to stay here!

Personally I loved it. It had a well furnished self service kitchen, it was clean and comfortable, Kat the house owner was incredibly helpful and very sweet! The location is nice if you like to be a little bit outside of the busy area of chaweng but since the grabs aren’t as cheep it will be easier to have a bike yourself but that’s personal preference. It’s also very close to the fisherman’s village. There were also two sweet cats who stay outside but are always around.

I had an amazing stay at Kohabitat! The location is perfect – super central and convenient for exploring the island. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook and feel at home. The beds were huge and unbelievably comfortable – honestly some of the coziest I’ve ever slept in. To be honest, this has been my best experience in a hostel. The hygiene really surprised me, as even the toilet was cleaned regularly and after taking a shower I actually felt clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and the thick shades on the bed gave you a lot of privacy. I got quite lucky as there were only two more people at the time I stayed there, but if it was completely full you might have to wait as there is only on bathroom. Kohabitat was the nicest hostel we have stayed at, the atmosphere was very chill, the place was immaculate and so clean. Kat was lovely and couldn’t have been more welcoming. Curtains on the bunk beds. We recommend this place!

A lovely quiet, clean hostel, just what we needed after the party islands! Felt like home away from home :)

I had a great stay for a night before i catch my flight in the morning. Homey feels like. They have a clean and comfy bed. I did not experience any bad things even unexpected bites at night as many say. Will come back and stay again for sure.

Kat is a lovely host and above all very helpful. she gave us tips for renting scooters, for secret tip beaches, where to eat and booked us a transfer to the boat. the accommodation was very sweet, there was a kitchen, two lounges for working or chilling and two bathrooms. generally a very good accommodation that we would book again!
