O local é muito bem localizado, mas a estrutura ficou a desejar em todos os momentos. O hostel e os quartos são bem apertados. Os banheiros são 2, sendo bem disputados e muito sujos. Me deparei com baratas circulando pelo ambiente incluindo dentro do banheiro. O café da manhã é regrado com pouco opção. Os funcionários são receptivos, porém muito mal educados. O hostel cobra pela toalha de banho e em nenhum momento é dito isso. Fotos mentirosas. FUJA DESSE LUGAR! Experiência horrív...
The place is very well located, but the structure was left to be desired at all times. The hostel and the rooms are well open. The bathrooms are 2, being well disputed and very dirty. I came across cockroaches circulating through the environment including inside the bathroom. The breakfast is regraded with little option. The staff are receptive, but very poorly educated. The hostel charges for the bath towel and at no time is it said that. Liar photos. Flee this place! horrible experience.
The location of the hostel is great. Within 3 Minutes you reach the metro to get everywhere in the city. That’s about it with the positive things. No room has Airconditioning but only fans which left the accommodation always hot and I wasn’t able to catch a good nose of sleep because of that. Also the beds, rooms, toilets and the kitchen were not clean at all. Everything felt filthy. . The lockers were old cupboards with no security effects whatsoever. Don’t stay here!!
Receptionist is very friendly. Bed sheet and pillow covers are not hygienic…
Great location right in the centre close to lots of attractions. However, there was an uncomfortable atmosphere in the hostel and the bedroom and bathrooms were very dirty. Meaning we found alternative accommodation. Things to improve would be: - regular cleaning of shared bathrooms - new bedding - removal of wall stains - better options at breakfast The staff were very friendly and meant well. However, in the current state, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
Está cerca del metro pero hay mucha gente en situación de calle alrededor. Las instalaciones no son las mejores pero por el precio está bien.
It is close to the metro but there are a lot of people in street situation around.The facilities are not the best but for the price it is good.
The beds are really really hard and didn’t feel super clean but the staff is nice and the location is okay because it’s next to the metro station. It’s not a good place to meet new people because there no social area

Die Betten waren leider sehr durchgelegen und die Küche war etwas schmutzig. Aber es gab immer kostenlos Wasser für alle. Leider gab es nur ein Badezimmer für alle Hostelbewohner*innen (6 Mehrbettzimmer) was somit fast dauerhaft belegt war…
The beds were unfortunately very crowded and the kitchen was a bit dirty but there was always free water for everyone unfortunately there was only one bathroom for all the hostel residents (6 multicamers) so it was quickly permanently occupied and...
The location was close to many of São Paulo's most important districts and the staff was more than friendly if you speak Portuguese. The blankets were just couch throw blankets and not sheets. It was quite loud in the room from the noise of the city outside. They make you a breakfast but it's a little underwhelming. Finally the neighborhood is considered semi safe at night, the same with the whole center of São Paulo.
The only thing worse than staying here, is the breakfast.

It was a great experience, staff were friendly and helpful. English was good enough to communicate. Translation app worked well to fill in any gaps.

Pros - amazing location, free towel, ac, some beds have curtains, staff are eager to help Cons - staff can be overbearing, broken laundry, some might not feel safe in area, facilities are a bit grimy, not a social hostel
Perfect hostel, to have a couple of quiet days in São Paulo. The neighbourhood felt relatively safe (first time in Brazil, so did not know what to expect) - its in the Chinese/Japanese quarter. Got everything u need, two bathrooms - which u expect to get crowded when all use them, but there was no problem whatsoever during my stay. The staff are just the cutest - welcome you very much and always help u whenever something is on your mind. As I don't speak a world of Portuguese, we communicated ...

Central location in Japan/Asia Town with easy access to excellent food choices, public transportation options, the main cathedral (Se) and several tourist attractions. The only problem is the area is full of homeless people at night so exercise caution. Very helpful staff. Clean facilities and a very good value for the money.
Hostel Liberdade was the perfect location to stay at in São Paulo. The Liberdade neighborhood is close to the cathedral and the Little Tokyo area of São Paulo so there are tons of amazing restaurants and shops. The hostel has bed curtains which is super nice and the rooms have large lockers. The staff there were very kind. I would highly recommend booking this hostel.
Place is very nice, the hosts are lovely and are very welcoming, Fernando is lovely. It’s in the perfect spot if you want to stay in the Japanese district. The free breakfast and washing machine is a big bonus too!
Não espere a comodidade e facilidades de um hotel 5 estrelas. Não seja exigente. É tudo muito precário… mas pelo preço é justo

We stayed in a private room. It’s a great location with great facilities including a clean kitchen and clean bathrooms. The private room had a TV with Netflix and air conditioning. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a reasonably priced stay in a good location in the Liberdade district!
Lovely chill hostel, nice breakfast, aircon in bedrooms and comfy beds. The staff are excellent, shoutout to Luiz who was an absolute legend and showed me around town and helped me get to the airport, an incredibly kind man! Would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone.
Nice Hostel for some days in the city. It could be a bit cleaner (especially bathroom and kitchen) but it does the job if you’re looking for a place to sleep in a good location.

Fui muito bem recebido no Hostel Liberdade. A atmosfera de de ambiente familiar e uma casa. Recomendo para quem deseja descansar e dormir tranquilamente. Quartos com arcondicionado, e arejados.
I was very well received at Hostel Liberdade. the atmosphere of a family atmosphere and a home. I recommend it for those who wish to rest and sleep peacefully. rooms with air conditioning, and air conditioning.
