This is for me the absolute worst, bad wifi, no warm showers, mosquitos in the bedroom and the male staff is very unfriendly. When I asked a question he called me a criminal, made me pay way more than I normally had to pay and called the police too. I would never sleep in such a hostel ever again, would not recommend
The location of the hostel is good, near a couple of cafes/restaurants. The surroundings of the hostel are beautiful and you do get good views. However the dorm room we were in was really damp with mould/damp on the walls and the smell was terrible. Unsure if private rooms are better/the same but the dorms are not pleasant at all to stay in. We left early due to a change in our plans but we were happy to be out of there in all honesty
Fine hostel if you’re on a budget and not picky. Location is great on the island, nice outdoor area and very friendly staff. That’s about it - the dorms are very basic, there’s definitely mold in the room and everything feels damp. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned once during my stay and there was never toilet paper.
In our first dorm we had a lot of ants, insects and a scorpion in the room and were then allowed to change rooms. Unfortunately there was almost no one in the hostel. It's very quiet, the food was realy good.
Ich würde nicht nochmal dort übernachten. Die Matratze war in Ordnung, aber das Bad sah dreckig aus, kann aber auch einfach nur super alt sein. Aus dem Wasserhahn kam das Wasser rausgeschossen, der Hahn und die Rohre sind definitiv super alt, sodass es nicht sicher ist das Wasser zum Zähneputzen zu nutzen. Die Aussicht vom Außenbereich war einzigartig, aber die vielen Mosquitos machen es unerträglich. Außerdem haben die überall kleine Mücken,die von einer bestimmten Pflanze angezogen wer...
I would not stay there again. The Mattress was fine, but the bathroom looked dirty, but it can also be super tall. The water came out of the faucet, the faucet and the pipes are definitely super tall, so it is definitely not safe to use the water to brush your teeth. The view from the outside was unique, but the many mosquitoes make it unbearable. Also, there are the little mosquitoes everywhere, which are attracted by a certain plant. This problem does not exist in other hostels on the island. ...
Nice hostel with great outdoor area. You can buy pretty cheap and tasty breakfast until 11. After that they don’t serve any food and they don’t have a kitchen for guests to use, so you are dependent on eating out which is not ideal.
Prima verblijf gehad! Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Fijn dat je een scooter kon huren vanuit het hostel, veel eet tentjes liggen wat verder weg van het hostel.
The staff is friendly and helpful. it is good that you could rent a scooter from the hostel, many tents are located a little further away from the hostel.
Location is perfect for activities nearby but hostel is very quiet, staff is not welcoming nor friendly. Bed is very uncomfortable but you have a personal fan.
The view was amazing!! The staff was veryyyy friendly and very sweet!! They have a lot of hang out places and its easy to get everywhere from there. We stayed in a private room. It was a little dirty and the showers were a bit nasty. But for the price it was really worth it. Would totally recommend!

A nice place to chill. The dorms are quite hot at night but everywhere on the island seems to be like that. Very good and affordable breakfast too!
Space was great! Nice location and they were super helpful coordinating scooters, the local buses and boat for our departure. No lockers but the rooms have locks. Lots of games and a volleyball court but just not many others to play with when we were there.
This place was great, the staff were so patient and kind and welcoming. The other people staying here were great. All around a pleasant experience! Definitely recommend. Such a great location!!
perfect strategical stay right in the middle of the island, close to Ojo de Agua, Wet Wednesdays hostel and to other attractions. Wifi not so good but 5 stars because that’s not what we came there for! 🤝

Ik verbleef hier twee nachten en had het erg naar m'n zin. Het personeel was ongelooflijk vriendelijk! je kon alles aan ze vragen. Wanneer ik er was, was het erg rustig in het hostel waardoor ik niet kan inschatten of het een sociale plek is of niet. Fijne ligging! Ze deden ook mijn was, wel jammer dat al m'n kledij vol met pluisjes hing toen ik het terug kreeg.
I stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. the staff was incredibly friendly! you could ask them anything. when i was there, it was very quiet in the hostel so i can't judge if it is a social place or not. nice location! because i did my laundry too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, ...
Die lage und somit der Ausblick auf den Vulkan ist einfach großartig und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Insgesamt konnte ich super abschalten und entspannen. Das Dorm ist sehr einfach gestaltet. Ich komme gerne wieder!
The location and thus the view of the Volcano is simply great and the Staff very friendly and helpful! overall I was able to super relax and unwind. the Dorm is very simply designed. i would love to come back!
The bestttt view here 💫. The rooms are nice and simple. It’s less crowdy here than the more well known hostels, it has a nice vibe and there’s hammocks everywhere to chill 🦥. The staff is super nice and helpful ( especially Maynor ♡ ), plus they speak English :) Also if you’re going to Wet Wednesday , this is right down the street!!

Really good for a cheap stay. Very basic, not super comfy beds or clean rooms but location is great and staff were nice. But no hostel vibes.

Perfect spot with a great view and friendly staff
Really lovely common area with lots of tables and hammocks, stunning views, perfect location between the beach and wet Wednesday party, highly recommend staying here if you already are a group but not if you’re looking to meet a lot of people
Great family run hostel, super helpful organising tours, giving recommendations, renting scooters and making delicious meals. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Awesome views of the volcano as well.
Loved this hostel, really good location ij ometepe. In our group we stayed in one private room and one dorm and both were great. The family who run it are so nice and great hosts. They also make great food and it is well priced!
