Hostel Coco's

there are no lockers in the privates and when we came back one afternoon we realised that money had been stolen from our room!

Made a reservation through Hostelworld, however upon arrival they had no beds and I needed to search for another place to stay

Leider hatten wir nicht so eine tolle Erfahrung mit diesem Hostel. Wir hatten ein privates Zimmer gebucht und als wir ankamen sagte uns die Besitzerin sehr unfreundlich, dass es kein Privatzimmer gibt und dass wir in den vier Betten Schlafsaal müssen. Freundlicherweise hat sie weniger Geld verlangt, aber sie war sehr unfreundlich. Das Frühstück am nächsten morgen war aber sehr lecker und im Preis mit drinnen.

Overall the stay was ok, but it was not very social and if you pay extra for breakfast they don’t mention at reception that breakfast is ónly from 7-8 am… Also, during the morning (but also at night), they close off the kitchen etc. so you can’t get filtered water anymore and we had to ask multiple times before someone came out to ask about breakfast.

Did not have a good experience there. First my AirPods got stolen, and I was alone in the dorm. Then a pair of socks got lost in the laundry. But my biggest problem was that the staff actually did not care.

quiet, didn’t feel most clean with the dirt courtyard impossible not to bring into the room, no running water for several hours so couldn’t shower, and can’t use kitchen. breakfast good

Customer Service was awful. I was charged a different price. I requested breakfast at the property and the Mrs. seemed to be angry about it. I won't stay at this hostal again.

great place in Moyogalpa. friendly and helpful staff, nice communal area. it was safe and close to everything you need in Moyogalpa. water didn't always work while we were there.

Solid option if you want to stay in Moyogalpa. It's a decent little town, but most of the things to see seem to be at the other end of the island (toward where the island pinches together between the 2 volcanos). Coco's was clean and safe and comfortable. It was nice that there were fans for each bed. There wasn't any community like some other hostels but we were also there at a fairly slow time, it was pretty empty.

Great location in Moyogalpa. Clean rooms with lots of fans (no AC) and room was plenty cool. Very kind and helpful staff.

A very nice chill hostel, the atmosphere is very nice, the owners are very nice and sweet and make you feel comfortable. The dorms all have fans for each bed, they’re clean. The hammocks are very comfortable. I loves my stay thank you very much

Loved this hostel. Perfect if you are keen to stay near ferry and travel out from there. The owner and her husband Carlos very welcoming and friendly. They help arrange scooter for you. Breakfast is good though some confusion about whether it’s included (show them your Hostelworld booking). The ground outside is flattened soil so floors tend to get dirty quickly but otherwise very clean.

We stayed in a private room for two nights. The room was clean and spacious (there were 2 single beds and one double bed in there). The owners were very nice and helpful! The breakfast portions were generous! They provide filtered water in a tank in the kitchen - the rest of the kitchen is not to be used by guests (they have a restaurant there as well). We didn’t rent scooters via the hostel, because it was more expensive than at the shops in town.

Good hostel with a nice breakfast included but hot dorms (only 1 or 2 fans for the room). I would still recommand staying there if you are looking for a chill place!

Nice stay at Coco’s! Staff was adorable & they informed us for the best way to do each activities. However, they had a problem with our reservation, because we took 2 beds in the dorm. So, they offered us a private room for 2 nights!

Kind staff and a nice dorm room! The area with filtered water was locked overnight so I couldn’t access it early the next morning before my volcano hike which was quite the inconvenience given it’s listed as an amenity. The hosts graciously allowed a late checkout which was super helpful! Good place to stay but the social atmosphere was not what I was looking for so I ended up changing hostels.

Gomendagarria. Muy gradable. Familia cercana y buen desayuno.
